UPGRADE FAILS VERSION F9.3.3

I have a problem and must understand the process of upgrading to MXP series.

1. when execution and spend F8.2 to F9.3.3 using IE 11, sounds good to most of the systems (40 more to give you an idea).

2. the problem is two systems Co., located on the same site.  They run F8.2 with HTTPS and SSH active.  FTP and TELNET are disabled.

Failure to comply with the upgrade with a valid CISCO unlocking key keeps during the download process.  With the help of a .pkg file known.

3 other systems are configured similarly and upgraded successfully.

What is the actual upgrade process using IE for a codec MXP series what is the actual detailed sequence?

I can't find on the website of CISCO KM.

Thank you.

Hi Chet,

If the upgrade will give you no success via web GUI of the endpoint, if you have a TMS trying to use it to upgrade endpoint. See page 153.

http://www.Cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/TD/docs/Telepresence/infrastructure/TMS/admin_guide/Cisco-TMS-Admin-Guide-14-6.PDF

Another option is to use FTP software problems with the upgrade of software WebGUI or TMS. You must enable the FTP protocol in this case.

  • Works with Windows XP SP2 with IE8. A Norton 360 process ccSvcHst.exe CPU consumption. Upgraded to version 4.0.__Now IE8 Norton is very unstable, different processes consuming CPU even with turned off Norton. __

I opened a folder support with Norton a couple of days, for a problem with ccSvcHst.exe cripling process my system by consuming my CPU.  I found that it was a common problem, and so I wanted Norton to solve.  Their guy accesed my remote system support and made a few changes to my configuration utility and my registry files and then upgraded my version of their latest version 4.0

After the end of the support session, I finally restarted my system and encountered an error on my configuration utility being in a State of diagnosis, then that I should put it in a normal mode and restart again.  I noticed that it had disabled the start of my services.  I selected a normal startup and restarted.

The problem with ccSvcHst.exe consuming my CPU is now resolved - be replaced by different processes consuming my CPU and use of extremely heavy memory (or misuse).  Faulty processes are mostly explorer.exe and iexplore.exe.  Not only that, but this current problem exists even when I turn off Norton.  I tried you connecting another deal with them, but they will not address the issue, since the problem (now) exist even without Norton running.  So, basically, they made the problem worse and then pushed him on Microsoft to resolve the issue.  It's really nice...

    Anyone have any ideas?

It seems that your computer is infected. I get this from the fact that iexplore.exe (Internet Explorer) is running. If you haven't started IE yourself, then it is a clear symptom of malware infection.

  • W7 is accepted, but the upgrade fails

I run W7 home Premium that came pre-installed on my laptop. I wanted to move to W7 Pro. Anytime online update doesn't let me do this based on the restrictions of the place, somehow. He suggested that I buy a key from a retailer instead, as I did.

Now, I entered this key in the update of any time and it seems that he had accepted the key, that I can forward to accept the license terms and then it starts to do his work, say how it will take about 10 minutes, etc.., but not for long. I don't know if I still get the same error message now, compared to when I tried to update the first time, but now, he said something to the effect of (this is a German Windows):

    Enter the different product key

The Enter key is designed for a version of Windows that is compatible with the upgrade Express (sic!). Enter the different upgrade key.

Now I checked my key with a key verification tool and it makes the new key account I had entered the Pro upgrade and it seems, so I'm stuck with a system on the new key, but will not perform the upgrade.

Article knowledge base, I tried to delete the application rule for Firefox to my firewall software (Avast Internet Security) and add the rule. This does nothing.

The program is essentially dead. I'll try to go back to version 19 to see if this solves the problem. In the meantime, the 20 version is broken on my PC.

UPDATE: for the record, back to FireFox 19.0.2 solved the problem. The program now meets all the favourites and manually entered web addresses in the URL bar.
