  Please let me know which operating system you currently have on the computer. It's 10 or windows 8.1. Because the version you are trying to install is for windows 10. Also please go to Device Manager and confirm the card this wireless network adapter option.

  I'm trying to upgrade a host 4, 0.x ESXi 4.1 using the vSphere host update utility WSXi.   I am interested in upgraging my ESX 3.5 update 2 update 4. On the download page, it lists two options, the ISO image and the upgrade package. I downloaded both. I have updated using the ISO image before. It seems that the upgrade package is all the applicable to the update 4, usually installed patches using esxupdate. It seems easier to use the CD and update at the same time. The installation of several patches normally involves several reboots of ESX host. Will there be a situation where the upgrade package assistance would be more beneficial than the upgrade using the ISO?

  No, if download you the archive update (zip file).  This will include all patches in a package, and you can run esxupdate in the folder decompressed to update all patches at the same time.

  its there a way to keep the user settings, when a thinapp packages upgrade, example, I thinapp firefox 3.6, so I want upgrade firefox to version 4, can the bookmarks and other settings migrate automatically between package 3.6 to 4.0 when the thinapp Gets the upgrade on the VM?

  in my case whenever I update the package, bookmarks are not migrate and the user begins with a database empty bookmark.

  Maybe that's not Thinapp whats causing your problems. You know exact filepath or registry keys that are now the parameters of your bookmark? are they not different between versions of application? And these places have the same isolation mode? IMHO these location setting is different between versions of application and the old settings are visible in a newer version, but new version uses setting different location and that's why you don't see older settings in a newer version. IM on mobile phone, so I can't check on the computer. Let us know any results. We also provide versions of Firefox, you try to migrate settings between.

  Why not install Windows 7 Home Premium on Vista Business upgrade... nothing on the box indicates this problem?  It is ridiculous to have to reinstall all my software and devote the time required to update all!

  I use OME to update my servers, I find OME is unable to download the package, it shows "Package is not available", but the package can be downloaded via the browser on the server of the OME.

  When I go through all the steps: download, unpacking, etc. The bridge 4.0.5 and updates of Photoshop Camera Raw 6.7 cause bridge to run during the upgrade process that stops the update process!

  You only need the serial number of the previous version that qualifies you for the upgrade.  You don't need to have one of these previous versions installed on the new machine.

  We have a Satellite Pro A300 - 2C4 (bought on 23-11-09) that came with Vista Business 32-bit installed, but has been downgraded (using the provided diskette) to Windows XP due to the demands of corporate network.

  When Windows 7 became available, I bought the DVD to upgrade to Windows 7 Toshiba provided so that if the company decided to upgrade to the new operating system, we could do it on this laptop.

  That's what I tried recently to discover that we can't do as the DVD is for Win Vista upgrade Windows 7 Pro. What is the best way to upgrade without having to buy another drive to upgrade. I have a set of recovery disks for an another Toshiba SatellitePro A300 - 2 4 which was bought about 2 months before this one. These were created using the Toshiba recovery software before any changes have been made on the laprop. Would I be able to restore the system to its state of Windows Vista using these disks and then use the Windows 7 Professional Upgrade DVD to make the upgarde?

  This upgrade package offered by Toshiba is upgraded from Vista to Win7. So if you want to use it, you must install Vista recovery image at first.

  After that, you can upgrade pre-installed Vista to Win7 following the Toshiba s implementation instructions.
  I did the same thing my Qosmio X 300.

  If you cannot use created recovery disc either s order Toshiba Vista recovery disk or (perhaps the best solution) install the clean version of Win7. A300 is fully supported for Win7 and you can download all the necessary drivers and tools specific to Toshiba and utilities.
