Firefox backpage reloading madness

About one in every three times when I do a page backpage 'Y' (the page I am consulting) back to 'X' page (the page I was looking at before Y), X loads briefly but page then returned to the top. In this case, if I use the backpage on the browser or the key that I've mapped on my mouse. The worst offenders for this so far is Reddit, Facebook (where the photos I closed magically re-open) and THIS site where trying to navigate here I entered a loop recursive crazy who seems to keep me on the page, though evil, no matter how many times I backpage. Can anyone help?

Figured it out. The unit of Logitech software has apparently been panic and convert my random mouse buttons. I've uninstalled it. Unfortunately, now my trackball has few features and I had to go back to a regular mouse, Wired. Uninstall it since and the switch, no problem.

  • How to make Firefox exit reloading web pages of several times (while I read a page), so that the back button to return to the previous page

The back button did not work correctly for perhaps a month. I have finally addressed the problem but have no solution. Updated for Firefox 43.0, turned off all my Add-ons back to header by default, then also ran the refreshment of deleted my Add-ons. This problem occurs on many web sites. I'll click on Rawstory.com (for example), and then click an article and start viewing. While the page does not appear to charge that I read, I noticed that the small icon in the tab of Rawstory winks (as if reloading the page). This happens over and over again. Now I know to pull down the window under the left arrow to see what happened. The last page I read ended show 9 times under the arrow to the left, even if all I did was click top once and read the article. I wondered if my click on the scroll bar to read to the bottom of the article is somehow cause this problem (same for the use of my fingers on the touchpad). Thanks for your help.

  • Firefox crashes constantly, made all the corrections, Manager tasks started and as long as TM runs, browser does not crash. Why?

I have to constantly move to prevent the browser from hanging for most of the web sites and especially you tube, I have done all the suggested fixes and nothing works. That is to say. Firefox deleted, deleted all the files in the programs, local applications, etc. Download the latest, not made any customizations and I have a question. However, when you use the Task Manager to see if the CPU or memory was something I noticed until the task manager has been refreshing, the ongoing browser without hanging, it's like when an interruption of the system produces the browser continue as if I were to continue to move. • I'd LOVE to have Firefox REFRESH/RELOAD all pages that I'm going to the OPTION.

I'd LOVE to have this OPTION:...
(just ask anyone who uses eBay... THEY know...)

I go to a page, it refreshes / reloads the page I want.
I go to another page, it refreshes / reloads the page I want.
I click on the 'back' button, it refreshes / reloads the page I was just at.

    Quite simply...
Firefox 'ALWAYS' REFRESH / RELOAD the page I want.

    Thank you.

  • Is there a way to tell Firefox to reload a page every time? I am a web designer and need to see what it looks like every time I open the pages that I do.

In Internet Explorer, you can configure the program to reload a web page each time you visit a page. I can't find a way to do it in FF. I prefer to only reload the Web sites that I work on rather than on the web, but it's probably not possible with any browser.

You can also reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

For programmers of firefox and tab-extension (who probably don't read this)... STOP making decisions for me. I often use a mobile broadband and reload the tabs or pages that I didn't 'NOW' is not only time-consuming, it costs me money that I don't need to waste!

Not everyone has a T1 connection for firefox-sake.

Oh, my apologies. Yes I test this with my most recent restoration of Session Manager session. The tabs that does not recharge while mobile broadband was off; do NOT recharge after turning on the internet-back, when I clicked on the tab. Excellent, just what I need.

  • When I use Firefox to watch the changes I make to the HTML files locally, it does not show changes made to images, unless I restart the browser. Is this a bug?

I have the local and versions at distance of a page is open in two tabs. I change images (keeping the same name in the HTML code) and download the modified image. The tab that displays the remote page does a refresh to show the change. The tab showing the local page of do not. I tried to open it in a new window, but it still doesn't change. Only if I restart Firefox does show the change. Why? Is this a bug?

Try using Ctrl-Shift-R or Ctrl-F5 to reload the page. This tells Firefox to reload all the content on the page, ignoring cached assets copies.

I don't know why this is happening in the first place, although I suspect it may have something to do with the fact that the remote copy is loaded from a web server (including a bunch of headers allowing browsers to know when we need to get a new copy of an asset), while the local copy is loaded directly into the file system.

  • The Firefox browser is not visible on the home screen, but "browser" is available.

The "browser" application has changed many times throughout the various versions of Firefox OS. Your LG is Firefox OS 2.1, where the browser application was simply called browser. In point 2.2 is when the name change, the name of browser for Firefox application was made.
