  Hello Experts,

  We are currently in the process of updating 11i.5.10.2 to R12.1.3.

  We have the GL, AR and module of the R12 upgrade projects. The question is simple, after upgrade R12 do we need to do any additional setup to the subsidiary ledger or journal?

• Upgrade R12 - Page not found problem

  I ran the Oracle 11.5.10.2 R12 upgrade. All stages of upgrade and after werer successful upgrade. All services are up including the database. It is the single node installation. But, the login page is not started and it displays the page "Page not found" when trying to connect to the application of R12.
  
  Please help me solve the problem.

  We have improved instance of R12.0.6 to R12.1.3.

  After upgrade not able to see the attachments to the form-level only for in. for AP GL module we can still see the old attachments.

  One knows on the subject please let me know.

• Legal person disappears after Upgrade R12

  Hi Experts,

  We were upgraded from 11i.0.5 to R12.1.3. and currently in the first iteration.

  All testing the functional flow from AR to GL, on the window of transaction for the field 'Legal entities' I'm not able to find out that all of the values.

  I have check the configuration of type transaction, there also not get moral in the valueset.

  After checking "Accountant Assistant Setup Manager" is no better a legal entity of 11i. What could be the reason for the same thing.

  Hello Experts,

  As he is once again, but this time is to do AR., we must do any additional installation after R12 upgrade for AR?

  We are reclassification of 11.5.10.2 to R12.1.3.

  We know there are several new feature available in R12 for AR, but from the perspective of upgrade, no matter what additional facility we might need to do.

• After upgrade R12 - simultaneous work of users are not rescheduled

  All the:

  Quick question: just finished a R12 upgrade this weekend. All concurrent jobs have been put on hold and then taken out of waiting after the upgrade. The problem is that some work concurrent user ever got put on hold and is is no longer in demand. We also end users up-to-date so that they could not connect until we were ready. Would be the cause of the simultaneous use not getting not postponed? How can I do to get their delayed? Thank you all

  So according to me, this is a behavior expected - it's a problem and it got fixed 11i (on-demand applications running for END_DATED users 100% CPU and giving ORA-01002 (Doc ID 1080047.1)).

  You will either need to remove the end date and check regular concurrent programs then (which should work as expected) or re-program these simultaneous program to an active user account.

  While trying to find a solution to this problem, I had this 1128486.1 ID MOS but this note is for Linux OEL5/RHEL5 and am on RHEL6(64-bit).

  No, it is not installed. Does this mean I have to redo the DB Upgrade?
  I checked this doc [372363.1 ID], but I thought that it might be a solution without redoing the DB upgrade.

  You do not have to repeat the upgrade, simply install the CD of examples as shown (interoperability Notes EBS 12.0 and 12.1 with Database 11 g 2 [1058763.1 ID]) and to implement the steps that you skipped during database upgrade of the same doc (i.e. create the directory nls/data/9idata).

  We have after installation
  Apps for all components on Sun solaris 64-bit - 11.5.10.2
  Level DB on Linux 64-bit 11.2.0.3
  
  Now we want to update the apps on 12.1.1 then 12.1.3
  
  Issues related to the:
  1 may without 12.1.1 using rapidwiz without having to install the part of the database.
  2. how appsutil will be moved from solaris to linux after upgrade.
  3. can you party apps upgrade feasible without root user.

  I am upgrade to 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.1... the db has been correctly upgraded from 9.2.0.6 to 10.2.0.3... everything worked very well...
  
  Started with upgradation apps...
  -Have all preinstall task
  -Apply patches to run clone
  -Applied minipak ADI 7
  -Utility Ran TUMS
  -Ran AD preparation scripts
  -Created the new user for R12 and ran the upgrade which took place successfully without errors.
  -J' have the R12 env file </d01/R12/apps/apps_st/appl > and tried connecting via sqlplus apps/apps that gave me a successful connection to db 10 g.
  
  I tried running the pilot and the rest of the patches on R12 but wrong on adpatch. When I checked the worker log file, I found this error...

  To make your database to the full Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.1 level, use AutoPatch to run the unified driver (US English) (u6678700.drv). It is located in $AU_TOP, patch, 115, pilot.

  Run the driver on the node administration server on your release 12.1.1 APPL_TOP by using the following commands:

  It depends on many factors like the size/version of the database, the number of nodes, the number of workers... etc. I managed to upgrade to 11.5.10.2 on a single node V445 SPARC with Sun Solaris OS 4 CPUs and 16 GB for nearly 16 hours.

  He has questions on the OTL and AGIS module.
  He wants to know:
  1. apply OTL & ACT on 12.1.1, and then upgrade to 12.1.3
  2 upgrade 12.1.3, finish all the post updated 12.1.3, then apply the patch to add a module OTL & ACT
  Which one should be correct?
  
  If no, please advise.
  
  Also, please report the number of note/doc.

  We are in the process of upgrading R12.1.3 with 11.2.0.4, R12.2.5 database with 12.1.0.2 Applications database. I'm a little confused about the process to upgrade the database as part of the upgrade to 12.2.

  In accordance with the note "guidelines preparation of database for an E-Business Suite Release 12.2 Upgrade (Doc ID 1349240.1)", I'm reviewing step 2

  Upgrading to the last group of patches (conditional) database
  Customers currently on 11.2.0.3 or 12.1.0.1 must now move to the 11.2.0.4 or 12.1.0.2 within the upgrade 12.2 following the documented process in the appropriate Interoperability Notes (see the References section below). It is highly recommended clients on previous patchsets to the upgrade database to the last.
  
  Complete all steps in interoperability Notes except the following:

  • Check the versions of the software
    • R12 to 12.1.0.2 upgrades (12 c) must apply the 16289505 patch and patch 8796558interoperability *.
    • 11i upgrades to 12.1.0.2 (12 c) must apply the patch of interoperability 16289505 as well as other pre-required patches listed in the 11i Interoperability Notes (My Oracle Support Knowledge Document 1524399.1in the References section below) *.
  • Step 'Run patch post-installation instructions' under 'Database Upgrade' in Section 1
  • Apply patch ECX post-implementation level (in the Notes of interoperability R12/11 GR 2)
  • Recreate the grants and synonyms
  • Restart the application server process
  • Apply the Oracle human resources (HRMS) patch 7721754 (11 I only)
  • Select the database Vault
  • Synchronize the views of Workflow
    • Note that this step must be completed after the 12.2.0 upgrade and application of the last ORS 12.2 when all services are up to such noted in last step be

  This stage supposed to complete interoperability for 12.1.0.2 with R12.1.3? Am I wrong?

  As I'm not going to bring up the applications before upgrade R12.2, that I have to perform interoperability for 12.1.3 or can I perform the steps of interoperability for 12.1,0.2 with 12.2?

  You must apply the patches immediately after installing 12.2.0 software.
