Upgrade RAM to HP Mini 110-3705sa

Hello

I have a HP Mini 110-3705sa with 1 GB of RAM. In the form that it is said it is expandable to 1 GB of RAM, I do not know why this means that it is scalable because it is the same amount it built in?

Does anyone know if you can put 2 GB of RAM in? Is this supported?

Thank you very much

Preston

I found what you are looking at and I'm sure that it's a typo about 99.5%. All netbooks with Atom processor and Intel chipset, I've heard or had my hands on can be upgraded to 2 GB of RAM with a single module of memory, but not from 4 concerts. I do not see that yours can't be upgraded to 2 GB.

    Hello:

Who worked very well because the number of product has been on the advertising.

You have the HP Mini 210-4014tu PC

OK... to answer your question... Here is the link to the service manual.

Maximum memory is 2 GB. There is only one memory slot. See Chapter 1, page 2.  My understanding is that even if you have W7 Starter, the 2 GB works perfectly. The manual States otherwise.

  • Upgrade memory for HP Mini 110-3015DX?

Features HP say that the maximum memory is 1 GB.  I would go to 2 GB.  Has anyone tried it?

Since I don't have all the answers, I decided the only way to know is to try.  I bought a USB 2 GB ddr2 and it works fine.

You answered. That's what I thought. You have DDR3L-1600 low voltage 1.35 volts. Low voltage will operate at a higher voltage (1.5 volts), but it is not the ideal memory for older hardware. Need memory DDR3-1333 name specified for the HP laptop. You can confirm or refute my diagnosis by putting in the memory of the old and see if it boots.

It's the part number you need:

    621567 001

Is your memory has 8 black on the side blocks or just 4? You want 8. Also if you have Windows 7 Starter, you can not use 2 GB of RAM.

  • Update Windows for mini 110

It is advisable to upgrade my version of mini 110-1100 of windows windows 7 starter edition to a higher version?

    Hello:

Your laptop is capable of running other versions of Windows 7.

If you want to upgrade depends on what features you want beyond the Windows 7 Starter Edition you have.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/compare

I would also recommend max memory to 2 GB if you install another version of W7.  You may have already made in all cases. If you do not you would need to remove the chip from 1 GB and install a module of memory 2 GB PC2 - 5300.

Can you please help me with this problem or can confirm any information on how this HP mini can support or even if the bios can support?

Just one thing, what brand is best to use for this update... G. Skill or Kingston?

    Thanks to all =)

    You are the very welcome.

I personally know anyone who has developed a mini 110 4 GB of memory.

If you can use the 4 GB chip in another notebook or can return it if it doesn't work, you can try it, but I still think that it would not work. I don't think that the laptop would boot.

    2 GB is guaranteed.

  • HP Mini 110-4100 [updated LEVEL of RAM]

    Hi all

I recently bought a HP Mini 110-4100 (blue color) and it has 1 GB of RAM on board.

I was not able to find specific posts on this particular model in the blog (because there are 110 different models), so I opened a new.

In fact, I was wondering if I can upgrade the RAM of this netbook, and if so how many GBs can I go for (maximum) and of what type. I contacted HP about this and they told me that it is not possible to mount more than 1 GB of RAM on this netbook, but I think it's a little weird to be honest.

If you know more, please write here. I really want to increase this even if the NetBook performance for a little bit.

    Thank you all!

    Hello

According to the specs on the website

DDR3-800 MHz single channel support (on models of computer with a processor Intel Atom N2600) supports 2 GB of RAM (2 048 × 1) should work fine on your device.

  • Problem updating Mini 110-3500 2 GB RAM

A few days ago, I bought a HP Mini 110-3500 netbook (more precisely a 110-3538TU / LD928PA) and separately, I bought an upgrade to 2 gigabytes of RAM to another bank. So far I had been focused on the problems of screen resolution but tonight, I finally installed the RAM, but the machine could not be started. I tried three times and he has always worked with the original 1gig but never with the upgrade to 2 giga.

In the store, I noticed that the display Mini 110 used RAM Kingston, so I took care to buy the same brand. I turn the machine on, I brought was not Kingston but RAM Samsung. I have included a picture of two RAM sticks.

Is - this Mini 110 module is known to work only with certain brands of RAM? I have somehow the wrong type of RAM? I have to change something in the computer so that it can recognize the extra RAM? Is there a brand recommended RAM should I buy instead?

Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the Kingston RAM on another machine. I tried all my local chain computer stores and MOM & dad computer Chinese import stores and the only other brand available was "Amicroe" resembling a brand generic cheapo, perhaps re-marked. Normal price was AUD $119,96 but Harvey Norman gave me for $60, $5 more that I had paid for the Kingston RAM. I was skeptical, but it was working good in weeks.

  • Pavillion Mini 300-019: upgrading RAM MINI 300-019

I want to upgrade the RAM in the Mini 300-019, I just bought, but did not have in my possession at the moment.

It comes with 4 GB in total.

I'm looking to get at least 2 X 4 GB modules (8 GB total), but perhaps also the modules of 2 X 8 GB (16 GB total).

How much RAM will recognize this system using a 64-bit operating system?

According to this study, it is 16 GB (two 8-GB memory DDR3 PC3-12800)

  • Upgrading RAM in the Qosmio G20-110

What is the limit of RAM upgrade in a Qosmio G20-110? Right now I have 512 MB. Can I put it in 1512, by adding 1 GB in the extra slot?

Of course you can do it.
The laptop is able to manage 2 GB max memory (2 x 1024 MB)
You can mix the modules I mean that you can use for example 1024 MB and 512 MB sizes.

I also found the compatible modules on the Toshiba options & Accessories site.
    512 MB DDR2-400/533 (PA3412U - 1 M 51)
    1 GB OF DDR2 400/533 (PA3411U-1M1G)
