  (2) if I buy the upgrade through this offer, I'll be able to download an ISO file so I can burn the installation media, or do I need to upgrade to Windows 7?

  I have a Satellite A200. PSAFCA-01K00J. It is the system bought in Australia around mid-2007. There are currently a processor Nvidia GeForce Go 7300 intslalled on the system graphics.

  In my opinion it's not possible to change the graphics card. As far as I know the graphics chip is soldered on the motherboard.

  I bought the model with 1 TB harddrive and a core i7. I recently bought a Kingston ssdnow v300, but was not able to connect to the storage array. Apparently, the ssd is too big.   I used 3.1.0 and just upgraded to 3.1.2 with the following two methods: (no access to Metalink)
