  Adobe sells only CS6 (if you their ring and ask them nicely) or the creative cloud.

  CS4 does not qualify for upgrade pricing to CS6 so you will have to pay full price for 3 year software obsolete.

  you have no need to install contribute 4 to install the update to contribute 5.

  If you want to install both, use compatibility mode to install contribute 4.

  Adobe has only sell the latest version of the Creative Suite, which is CS6, so you can't buy CS5 more. Upgrades are also only available to CS6 CS5 so that CS3 would not benefit anyway.

  the dl is the correct version, if you have a single user license (no volume).

  After you have entered your serial number of cs5.5, you will be asked to select the product calling it (IE, the previous version), and then enter its serial number (those of the previous version).

  Enter the correct number at the right time and proceed with the installation.
