  On Mac OS, there is a .dmg file. Under Windows, there is a .exe file and possibly a .7z file.

  I have Photoshop elements 8 on my laptop.  A legal version that was installed when I bought the laptop, but I don't have disks for it.   I'm about to upgrade my computer to a new desktop computer and want to upgrade to a new version of Photoshop Elements. I'll keep 8 items on my laptop and just install the latest version on the new machine.  I do not have the full Photoshop and do not need Lightroom.   Is it possible to get the last items in Photoshop without having to pay a monthly fee?    Is there an earlier version (but it is newer than 8), for which I could buy real records and not have to pay a monthly fee?  Sorry if this question has been asked and asked by others; I couldn't find an answer.  Thanks much for the advice.

  You can buy the latest version of Adobe Photoshop elements 14.  Most new computers can run this wonderful program and there is no subscription to pay.  You can install this on two machines at any time and if you change your machines say in 2 or 3 years, you can sign out / uninstall a machine and re - install on a new machine.

  Amazon or any other department stores will have special offers and you have to study and compare prices.

  Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements are produced autonomous. They can be sold separately or as a set of two distinct products. The bundle is usually cheaper then the sum of the individual prices.

  Now, if you need elements first 13, then you'll have to shop around for the best price for first items 13 to Adobe as a download or as a download or product in box with an authorized dealer installation discs.

  Adobe is due to the release of a new version of Premiere Elements in September October 2015. At that time, it will sell is no longer first of 13 items for download. At this point, if you want 13, then you go to an authorized seller has it in stock.

• Upgrade to 10 elements did not allow my PerfectPhoto Suite 8 Plugins

  I ran 10 elements with PerfectPhoto Suite 6 (which began with the free version of 4 PPS which came with the E10) for a few years in order to use the plugins of PPS6 inside the E10.

  Last week I upgraded PPS6 tp PPS8.  Everything worked without exception and all new PPS8 plugins were available under the menu file/automation of E10.

  Yesterday, I installed E12.  During the installation it me warned that it had found the PPS8 plugins and would like to install/activate the.  After that installation is complete [no error] I noticed that the menu file/automation of E12 is gray.  However, under the Plugins Help/About all plugins PPS8 listed.

  Here's what I've tried so far:

  (1) installed items 12

  > no automation tools in 12, but they were always visible and active in the old version (10)

  (2) uninstalled perfect Photo Suite 8

  (3) uninstalled items 10 (leaving E12)

  (4) re-installed the perfect Photo Suite 8

  > no still no plugins automation in E12

  Can someone help me with this?

  Sheesh.  You won't believe how much time I wasted on this issue.  I have exchanged emails probably 5 with customer service but was getting nowhere.  After waiting nearly 30 minutes for a technical support I was finally able to talk to a technician.  The first thing he asked me was ' you are in Expert mode.  There are three modes in the upper part of the screen - Quick, guided and Expert.  When the first installation of the Editor opens in fast mode.  The menu file/Automation element is enabled only when you are in Expert mode.  Its just so easy.

  Sheesh... What a waste of time...

  I'm a Web designer who is currently using Photoshop Elements. I didn't print the drawing, and I don't usually create graphics from scratch (I have an asscoaite that makes my work, when I need customstuff). What I do is purchase graphic StockXpert, then apply effects, filters, etc in PS Elements, if necessary, and then reisze, harvest, etc..

  I am considering the upgrade to full 4 CS because of the offer of upgrade from $299 for all owners of items. I donwloaded the trial version and there are so many new things, I don't know where to start.

  Based on the information that I gave to my work, what other features in CS 4 would probably use in my daily work? I know everyone must make their own decisions, but I try just caliber if the characteristics justifying the upgrade for me.

  Unless it has been added in the PSE 8, single layer masks would be worth the $. There is also the potential for greater automation of repetitive tasks, beyond what can be easily done in PSE.

  You will have a little problem with the transition. With the price of the LARGE offer of upgrade, I would add a copy of Adobe Classroom in a Book for Photoshop CS4, just to give you a quick "the lay of the land" and get the updated terms in your mind, show what are the new "powers". Only, you will need probably to find locations and then getting your feet wet. There are a lot of very valuable resources, but you know already much of it - you just need to know where it will be in PS, and will help the ICVA with who.

  If I do not already have two licenses for PS, I run out, buying PSE 8 and take advantage of the upgrade in a blink of an eye. I forgot the exact cost, but I think I paid a lot more than that, with an upgrade competitive of Aldus PhotoStyler 2.5 PS and has been for decades. My recommendation - do it!
