  I looked at the settings page e-mails from TalkTalk (of http://help.talktalk.co.uk/app/answers/detail/a_id/1668/~/what-are-talktalk-Courriel-param beings % 3F #TalkTalk) and it seems that their default settings to use POP3.

  POP3 is not supported in the Mail application. Please visit http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/pop-email-accounts for more information.

  The Mail app supports EAS and IMAP.

  The TalkTalk page has a section of optional parameters that mentions IMAP, however the parameters they provided in this section are specific to POP3. You may need to contact them directly to determine if you are able to connect using IMAP or AE.

  If you want to upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7, you won't lose iTunes music library. However, there is a chance of losing the music of iTunes library if you choose custom installation.

  I suggest that perform you a clone of the hard drive. Seagate drives and WD offer a free version of the wizard disk.

  Clone the original 200 GB drive to the new drive.  To avoid problems, has chosen a 1.5 or 1 t T drive. Once you have the clone, just install the upgrade on the new drive. All your data will remain intact, and the intact original of 200 GB drive is secure.

  PS > you need a spare sata power and data leads to the clone. Look inside and see what led power is hanging loose. Then I can suggest an adapter or cable. As the DVD is IDE, (not Sata) from what I've read, you will need a Sata data cable also.

  When it comes to antivirus software, you want one and only one installed and running on your computer.  Two or more may come into conflict with eachother and degrade performance.  I advise you to uninstall Windows defender and use soley mse.

  also I strongly suggest that you avoid using "PC optimization" tools.  They can help a little, but they often do more harm than good.

  In General win 7 should a minimum og 1 gig of ram (for 32 bit) or 2 for 64-bit, and it needs a video card 256 MB or greater.

  If your less and can not be updated it may be best to start thinking about a new computer.

  If the above is ok there are various offers for win 8, but make sure you buy form a reliable site of Ms.  There are a lot of current scams.
