  First of all if you want to use Vista on this laptop, then you should do a clean install of Vista!
  Second, there is a 5.30 - VICTORY especially for Vista 32-bit BIOS update! This means that you must update the BIOS if you want to use Vista!

  Regarding the Intel WLan driver:
  Choose the one who is working on your laptop and who recognize the Wlan card!

  The HD on this laptop has a partition recovery for Windows Vista (about 12 GB) disc. If I upgrade the operating system Vista to Win 7 OS should I delete this partition or create another cover in the same partition as now for Win 7?   FYI, no matter what operating system you buy on eBay, be suspicious, because they have used the product key already. You must only buy on eBay legitimate online seller is not a recommend where you buy a Windows o/s of. And as for this upgrade that may problematic should not only this as your way of thinking.  Computer laptop Win7 are renovated and difficult to find. There is no downgrade with Windows 10.

  Yes there is no direct upgrade path from Vista to Windows 8. 1. I provide a counterpoint here. Your laptop is powerful enough to run Windows 8/8.1 and I bet all the drivers work just very rare possible exceptions that will be easy to fix. I would say what you can do to give up Vista is a good thing. You might want to consider Windows 7 as an alternative, but all that will take place in 7 runs generally 8/8.1.
