  While the EBS R12 database upgrade, as in notes 1058763.1 of 11.1.0.7 to 11.2.0.4, I get error to step below according to:

  I checked the vairable TNS_ADMIN component apps and found port 1522 in the tnsnames.ora file, while the real port of the database listener's 1521 and the database is already in place.

  Any ideas?

  Looks like you started the earpiece of the database with the default values

  What is the result of

  grep dbport $CONTEXT_FILE

  lsnrctl status

  can you connect to the database in this way

  Apps/Apps@hostname:1521/

  You can change involves database to run on the port of 1522 or change to 1522 tnsnames file. To generate tnsentries to port, you must change the port value in the context file

• Upgrade EBS 12.1.1 to 12.1.2

  I want to upgrade my version of Oracle EBS 12.1.1 to 12.1.2 on Red Hat Linux 5.3 *(64 bit) *.
  
  There are three patches are needed for the same thing:
  I have ) R12. AD. B.Delta.2 Patch 8502056
  ii) release 12.1.2 Patch 7303033
  iii) consolidated online help 7303032 Patch
  
  When I try to download the patch, it only shows the patch for Linux, x 86, there is no patch exists for 64bits.
  
  My question is, can I use x 86 patch because there is no patch available for 64-bit?

  Yes - EBS is a 32-bit application. It can be installed on 64-bit hardware, but the patches will be available to 32 - bit

• 11G upgrade - EBS 12.1.2

  I have a few questions about the upgrade to 11G.
  
  DB - 11.2.0.3 - OS - zLinux
  EBS - 12.1.2 - SLES 10 - SP3
  
  I'm following notes 1058763.1 (Interoperability Notes Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 of Oracle Database 11 g Release 2 (11.2.0).) - and I'm in step 23 - implementing and execute Autoconfig )
  
  Referring to 387859.1 (using automatic configuration to manage system Configurations in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12), I did unzip the file appsutil.zip to the $ORACLE_HOME on the database layer using the appsutil.zip o to decompress.
  
  The next step in 387859.1 requires running autoconfig on the layer of DB - for which I can not find the folder of $ORACLE_HOME/appsutil/scripts.
  
  Section 3.2 of the 387859.1 means install JRE on the database layer - but when I run the java - version command - I'm already getting the output to the 11g next House upgrade.

  What other ' variables should I update in the context of APPS in addition to the s_db_serv_sid file.

  Check all context variables in (interoperability Notes EBS R12 with Database 11 g 2 [1058763.1 ID]) in accordance with article "Tier application context file updated with the new database listener port number (conditional)".

• Patch of the DST for the ebs DB Upgrade

  Hi all

  I'm upgrading ebs R12.1.3 database 11.2.0.4 11.2.0.3 on Sun (sparc) OS. The source DB contains the DST patch 14, do I have to apply the latest patch for the DST as part of the upgrade or I'm good with it?

  No, it is not required that you follow all the steps described in the note... As you have not set up a portal, you can skip this step and move to another. This is the reason why "CONDITIONAL" was used in the respective step.

  I'm upgrading ebs DB to 11.2.0.4 of 11.2.0.3. Post upgrade tool reports "OPTION OFF" for some components. "My first research lead me to the Doc ID ' components OLAP with"NO SCRIPT"or"OPTION OFF"status after Upgrade (Doc ID 602824.1). It is said... If, at the time when the software has been installed and OLAP has been deselected then this (NO SCRIPT) would be a normal state resulting.

  Catalogue OLAP OPTION OFF 11.2.0.3.0 00:00:00

  I don't know how it happened, as the 11.2.0.4, s/w installation was performed in silent mode with the help of a response file and I specified the optional components during installation.

  Hi guys, did anyone know where I can find documentation to upgrade EBS 12.0.6 to 12.2 (live), I'm stuck trying to upgrade 12.0.6 to 12.1 and read to https://blogs.oracle.com/stevenChan/entry/ebs_12_2_now_available is it possible to go from 12.0.6 to 12.2, this will take a lot of pressure from my back.

  E-delivery- Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.0 Extensions for Oracle Media Pack for Linux x 86-64-bit short has about 47 GB of download to the choice and do not know if it's necessary or just a couple of packages.

  Any help finding this Doc will make me very happy.

• Could not find 'Pre-upgrade of SLA program' and the executable XLAPREUPG 11i pending

  I'm upgrading EBS 11i to R12. I have applied patch 5233248 ALS pre upgrade program, but we can't find "Pre-upgrade of SLA program" and the XLAPREUPG executable in my case 11i?

  Note MOS ' ALS pre-cautionary program at level is not enabled (Doc ID 427639.1) "speaks of" simultaneous program "pre-upgrade of SLA program '; How can I find and then activate this program? Can someone give me the navigation for this program and the executable file path or how to activate it?

  This means that there is no such thing as simultaneous program.

  The patch has been applied successfully? Please ask AD_BUGS to check.

  If you are looking for "SLA", you can find the program then?

  The Enable checkbox is next to the field name of the simultaneous program, but is not the issue now that we must first confirm if the program exists in your case or not.

  My customer wants to upgrade EBS 12.1.1 to 12.1.3.
  He has questions on the OTL and AGIS module.
  He wants to know:
  1. apply OTL & ACT on 12.1.1, and then upgrade to 12.1.3
  2 upgrade 12.1.3, finish all the post updated 12.1.3, then apply the patch to add a module OTL & ACT
  Which one should be correct?
  
  If no, please advise.
  
  Also, please report the number of note/doc.

  PL show details of the version of the OS and the version of the EBS, you perform the installation, as well as the complete error message. You typically use an existing database if you upgrade EBS to a new version (for example 11i to R12) where you attach the binary of R12. If it is a new installation, you will also need to install the database.

  We have an installation Oracle EBS (11i) and Oracle Discoverer. And the question is: is it possible to integrate worksheets of discoverer with the XML Editor, which is integrated in EBS?
  I found the manuals on the discoverer with BI Publisher Enterprise integration, but have no idea how do with the editor of the EBS. Maybe it is possible to upgrade EBS BI Publisher Editor without buying additional license?
  Any info is appreciated!

  Discoverer of Oracle 10 g / 11g with Oracle EBS 11i are certified so it should work with XML Publisher reports - I'm not clear about your needs, and it would be helpful if you could elaborate more.

  I had this error patch area directory must be a number, but I apply patches a lot before I do not had this error.

  Hello

  If you want to upgrade the database 11g and the application of R12 in the same window of downtime, then do not follow the document ID 881505.1 and rather follow Doc ID 1058763.1.

  If you want to upgrade to 11g and stay on 11i for awhile, you can then follow the document 881505.1. Patching must be performed while the application is down.

  The examples CD is in 6 of the fix 13390677file. When you click Download, you will get a list of 7 files.

  Download files 1,2 and 6 only.

  Download OPatch step by step:

  1. Go to the download of patches
  2. Type the patch # 6880880
  3. Enter your platform (x 86 Linux, for example)
  4. Look for a patch with the description "hotfix version 11.2.0.3.10 of Oracle software OPatch publishes 11.2.0.x (April 2015).
  5. Download the patch
  6. Unzip the file into the 11.2.0.4 oracle home (unzip qo - p6880880_112000_LINUX.zip d $ORACLE_HOME)
  7. Check the version (version opatch)
