  You can add or upgrade license keys for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace functionality in your system, individually or all at the same time. You add or update the license through MeetingTime keys.

  For the license keys that you can add or upgrade files are available when you buy a new system, Cisco Unified MeetingPlace or upgrading to version 5.3. These files are loaded into your Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 8106 or 8112 when it was purchased.

  Step 2 in the MeetingTime configure tab, select the System Options display.

  Step 3 click query, then click on the < or=""> button to locate the license key, you want to add or upgrade.

  Step 4 attribute to the number of licenses, click the values box. Enter the number of licenses for your system, and then click OK.

  The number of licenses must match the number that corresponds to your Cisco Unified MeetingPlace option key.

  Step 5 attribute for the button Option, enter the number of the option key.

  Step 6 click on save changes.

  Step 7 to load additional licenses, repeat steps 3 to 6.

  Step 8 reboot the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 8106 or server 8112.

  I have 2 x ISE-VM-K9 = licenses, and I want to deploy ISE mode Standalone with HA.

  IE, have 2 boxes Node1 and Node2 each hosting all three personas and closely located in 1 data center.

  so, I want to have a third box 3 node in a data center remotely (only for purpose of DR).

  What is the best way to design it.

  1. do you have nodes 1 and 3 in a host group and use as aaa primary and 2 secondary node

  2 have Node1 and 2 in a local host group, then the host of another entity 3

  I'm worried about the condition of licence of the 2nd option

  This is what I highly recommend because it is not documented on what best practices are Cisco and with database of ISE is sensitve to the way that the hard drive are presented, I suggest strongly to nine in order to exclude any stability related issues (if you face them) in the future.

• vSphere 4.1 5 upgrade and licensing issues

  I currently have two server PowerEdge 2900. They each have two processors to 4 cores of each and 24 GB of RAM. Each server has a license in advance of vSphere 4 for 2 physical processors (1-12 cores). I also have vCenter 4 Foundation installed and licensed.

  I am looking to buy a new PowerEdge 620 with 2 processors, 8 cores each, and 128 GB of RAM.

  I want to do the following.

  1) upgrade the vCenter 4 to 5 license. Upgrade 2 CPUs with a value of 4 advance to 5 Enterprise vSphere vSphere licenses.

  2) update my installation of vCenter vCenter 4 5.

  (3) install ESXi 5 on new server PowerEdge 620.

  (4) migrate all virtual machines (guests) to a PowerEdge 2900 server to the new server 620.

  (5) Server Decomission the 2900 now blank.

  (6) keep the other server 2900 HA around and the low priority. VMs (I'm undecided as to whether I should upgrade to ESXi 5 on this one).

  Changes to licenses of 4 to 5 seems like a maze, but according to my calculations, 2 processors of licence 4 set to upgrade to 5, should give me enough for 2 CPUs and 128 GB of vRAM on the 620. It's my first time going through an upgrade like this, so I was hoping that someone with more experience could weigh in on this plan. I'm completely missing something, and he will be missed horribly? Any extra info / advice is appreciated.

  Don't worry about this. Only old license on the portal keys will be disabled when you upgrade the key to v5. There is no license on your systems check, which will disable the host or vCenter Server.

  You can use a Full Windows 7 or upgrade disk to do a custom clean install. This will remove all of your programs, but you can save your files and settings on an external storage before doing so. You will need to reinstall all your programs after installing Windows 7. Here are the steps:

  1. start Windows Upgrade Advisor to see if there are known problems that might affect installation and if you can install the 32-bit or the 64 bit version of Windows 7.

  If vista came preinatalled your computer, it is rated an oem license as such is related to the material that it is initially installed on

  If you have a retail license, you can upgrade your card motherboard and CPU
