• ASM disk added without scan on the second node

  Hi all

  Oracle Version: 11.2.0.3

  I need a help for a problem with the addition of ASM disks.

  It is a node two CARS and a disk group was filled.

  A drive was available as UNUSED001 and so we renamed it ran scan disk and disk added to the diskgroup on node1.

  But, as we have not run scan disk on the second node, the name is still the poster as UNUSED001 and assigned to diskgroup showing as a MEMBER.

  In addition, the renamed disk shows as a MEMBER but not attributed with any diskgroup.

  Usually, when this heppens we have to restart the node to solve the problem, but would like to get idea if this can be fixed without bouncing nodes.

  I restarted node and that fixed the issue.

  Sounds as if the announcement was incorporated by using an iframe, which is an entire web page and not just a picture. Your adblocker seems to prevent the entire page to be retrieved if Firefox shows the same kind of message, instead of the page as if you had loaded it in its own tab. Perhaps a different advertising blocker could hide the frame entirely, which would be more aesthetic.

• LUN cannot be added without formatting

  Details:

  2 x ESXi 4.1 HOST (HP DL380G7)

  1 x HP MSA2012fc

  The MSA are directly attached to a FC HBA on each server.

  I have two LUNS on the MSA (1 TB = LUN_0, LUN_1 = 1.6 to)

  The two HOSTS of ESXi 4.1, I have access to these two LUNS.

  My problem:

  I have updated the first HOST to ESXi 5.0.

  After the installation, I have two data store in the Configuration. Local data store and the LUN_0 data store.

  I jumped on the storage card and made a new analysis. On the FC HBA, I could see three courses:

  1 attachment

  2 LUN_0

  3 LUN_1

  I jumped to the storage and also press Rescan. Nothing happens.

  I press Add storage. ESXi 5.0 shows me my LUN_1 and I click Next.

  Now seems to me that I have to reformat the LUN. I can choose something else.

  I can't do this! On my LUN_1 are my productive VM.

  Does anyone have a solution for me?

  Your solution could be as simple as the LUNS need to be mounted on the other hosts.

  In one or more of the hosts do not show the LUN and type of PuTTY

  esxcfg-volume - l, lists usable LUNS that are NOT mounted, if no LUN is displayed it means that all your LUNS were mounted.

  If you see LUNS listed in the above command, type this to mount each one LUN at a time

  esxcfg-volume - m "vmfs_label_name", the name of lable must be the friendly name you gave the LUN when initially formatted.

  I had this same problem with one of my ESXi hosts and this took care of it without formatting.

Therefore, I would like to upgrade to business at Calc Manager rules, but without using EPMA (we would still use the classic Planning Administration).   Awesome. Nope. You have NOT need other separate license or installation for BPM. You already have that. If you have installed soa suite 11.5, she should have also all the components of bpm. Infact if you create a process bpm application, you may have already used bpm/workspace for this in your testing process. If you have pure soa with a few bpels applications, you may have used integration/worklistapp. Just like that, you should be as bpm/composer. There are all the apps box that we get with the soa/bpm software.

  I really wish if Oracle can mentioning clearly in their download sites that there is no difference of soa or bpm or separate facilities for these 2 commonly used terminologies.

  I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 and the process for adding some of my old material has been an interesting question. Who made me stuck is to be able to access my network scanners "mailboxes shared" in order to recover my scans.

  The product in question is a large format Xerox 6204 printer/scanner. The installation process for the basic print server run the 6204 as a network printer went relatively smoothly and seems to work as expected. However, the problem arises when I want to use the functionality of scan of the 6204. Scans are stored in mailbox store ' ' on the 6204 and must be retrieved by a piece of software Xerox called "wide Format Scan Service. This program essentially connects to mailboxes mailbox via the IP address of the 6204 on the network and from there should allow me to download the scans on my Windows 7 computer. Unfortunately, in order to connect to the mailbox store I am currently disable the firewall of Windows 7 altogether.

  I tried to add the Service to Scan large Format to the list of allowed programs, which gives an "impossible to connect to 6204' error. I tried to add the program to inbound and outbound rules manually, even though my experience with this is limited, with the same error. So leave the default settings in the wizard, I also tried to use the technical netstat to find out what are the ports, the software used and adding them to specific ports in the properties of the rules - all without success.

  For now, I'm stuck the point of having to run my installation of Windows 7 without a firewall to use my scanner large format, which is obviously an undesirable situation. If anyone can offer help or advice on how I can solve this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

  I'm trying to create a rule that would first check if certain conditions (pitfall) are met.

  If the condition is true then the rule should go and calculate using a model with different parameters PDT.

  If the condition is not met, then something else is made.

  I test this because I should develop the same kind of solution for another case where the model is much more complicated. Basically, the problem is the same.

  Before you run a rule with a model, a condition to be tested and if the value of CAP are models of should not be executed.

  The explanation of the above rule:

  It should 1st check-if a Show Stopper has to value (6)

  If is not equal to 6, then it is and should be aggregations as expected.

  If the show stopper (can find value 6 to the intersection of the cross-dimension), then it should set 6 to another intersection as a control point.

  The model includes an aggregation that is made for different combinations.

  The model script is the following ([YearPara], [ScenarioPara] and [VersionPara] are promtps of design time that can be set when you use the template in a rule):

  This rule does not, validate because the Manager of calc seems to find something wrong with the ")" at the end of the if condition. (line 2 to the rule)

  I see the calc Manager displays error messages that aren't the real cause of the problem.

  Is simply because the template has fixes and they occur after the fi condtion test?

  For comparison, I have a separate rule where I have only two lines:
