  • Microsoft XP blue screen and message - this applicationhas failed to start because LSASRY.dll was not found, that reinstallation can correct moyenessentiel,

no disc recovery... on a Panasonic Toughbook CF-50

    Let's see...

If you see a message like this:

Lsass.exe - Unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because lsasrv WITH. DLL was not found.  Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Then, when you click OK, you have nothing more than a mobile mouse cursor.

I seriously doubt that the opinion of the engineer of Microsoft Support for try the last good known Configuration will replace a missing file, so that theory approaches the area of ridicule.    This is not what LKGC, that is not what he does and is not how it works.

Re-installation of XP is a very bad idea.

There is also no need get a Windows XP installation CD, because you can create a bootable XP Recovery CD yourself and then see to replace the missing file.

I understand not all next to a Microsoft representative.  Obviously not tested, won't work, won't help, but there are the necessary links to an article.   It's just another MSE wild-goose chase.

The lsasrv.dll file should really never be missed, so answer these questions as the best yo can:

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination?  (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)

The afflicted system has a working CD/DVD (internal or external) drive?

If the system works, what do you think might have changed since the last time it did not work properly?

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget what you have (no XP media required).

This is not the same as recovery disks that might have come with the acquisition of the system store.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD (do not install UniBlue or the Ask Toolbar - never!):

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_cmds.mspx?mfr=true

A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.

It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

Then at the Recovery Console prompt enter orders to replace the missing file from backup copies that are already on your system:

    Copy c:\windows\system32\dllcache\lsasrv.dll c:\windows\system32

Answered in the affirmative if invited to replace the existing file and then you should see a message that 1 file (s) has been copied.

Depending on your system configuration, you may need to copy the files somewhere else, so if they are not in the folder dllcache for any reason, enter the command like this:

    Copy c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386\lsasrv.dll c:\windows\system32

Answered in the affirmative if invited to replace the existing file and then you should see a message that 1 file (s) has been copied.

Remove the CD and then type "exit" and restart your system.

Just curious, it's someone else is seeing this with 2.10 and if you have, how solve you this problem?

If you are using some kind of power management on the VDI? It seems as if the machine is unable to reach the HTTP Appvolumes service for any reason any newspaper which shows success connects withion a fraction of a second if the server doesn't seem to be to busy.

Maybe you try to join an appstack that has some sort of firewall inside rule?

  • Failed to start service vCO today, which was OK

Hi guys and experts of vCO,

I had a problem starting the service of vCO. The vCO is on a LinuxSUSE OS.

I've done several times, but always failed to start the service, if the server vco is on all tabs are green on the page of configuration of the vco. When I clicked on the link service to start, it will take about 5 minutes and then saying "the server is started" in green letters, but still, the service is stopped. Only changes made recently that I remember is that I activated the "view web development" mode last week and restart the service (it worked), and when I disabled that today and try to restart once again, he stopped and cannot restart.

Here are the logs of the orchestrator configuration:

And kept repeating the above posts...

    Thank you very much!

Yes, the screenshot seems good. It shows the storage used same as provided - I assume that this has been set up thick, that's fine... Is there any free space on the disk? SSH to the VA to confirm.

Apart from perhaps running out of space, I'm not sure what is causing this problem - maybe a deployment is corrupted? Your snapshot - is that taken before questions: If so, you should probably try to return.

If it was me, I cut my losses and try to deploy another device. So far, I had very good experiences with the device of the vCO and use it in multiple locations daily for my test/dev work.

  • EM fails to start with NoClassDefFoundError: HTTPClient/ProtocolNotSuppExce

New installation of Fusion Middleware 11 g on HP - UX 64-bit Itanium running VMWare on top. It is that the application of the EM fails to start, to starting AdminServer and when tried to start manually.

    Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: HTTPClient/ProtocolNotSuppException
    at oracle.sysman.eml.app.ContextInitializer.contextInitialized(ContextInitializer.java:1035)
    to weblogic.servlet.internal.EventsManager$ FireContextListenerAction.run (EventsManager.java:481)
    at weblogic.security.acl.internal.AuthenticatedSubject.doAs(AuthenticatedSubject.java:321)
    at weblogic.security.service.SecurityManager.runAs(SecurityManager.java:121)
    ............

Anyone has any advice on what could be the cause? What particular type of communication happens while EM start which might be unique to it?

    Additional details-

Installs on existing Windows 11g works without problems.

On the installation of the HP - UX system, it is the only symptom of problems so far. Can deploy and start the user applications, Console can start and stop the servers. No other symptoms or error messages identified yet.

EM app remains the failure State.

Have uninstalled/reinstalled several times, tried other instances of VMWare and without success. Same behavior each installation. Have wittled to rudimentary installation for MS, so little additional choices to muddy the waters.

WebLogic generic installation pot take all default values
AppDev install generic zip taking all default settings
Run the config for the new domain, changing AdminServer to add EM, which includes the JRFs
Run setNMProps.sh 1 time and then run startNodeManager.sh, which opens with no problem
    Run startWebLogic.sh

Problem occurs on the first boot of the server admin and any attempt to launch the application of the EM.

Tried uping the settings with settings such as 1536 for main memory and 512 for permgen. Changes which have occurred in the startup file. But does not change the problem or behavior.

WebLogic Debug traces did not give me more clues. HTTP calls to get all the resources for EM appear before this failure without problems. The last one that appears is the resource get enemy consoleConfig.xml. On all types of tracks, there seems to be a wait several seconds between the last trace message and failure messages, as if he expected a response from something.

There was a thread OTN showing same error but with "Production" Mode and solved by enabling SSL on the administration server. This question is "Development Mode" but enabled SSL, without resolution. Noted that clearances HTTPS appear in newspapers after the EM localization for start-ups. Retried after start EM and still the same error.

  • the application has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect

I downloaded the new firefox and when I try to open it I get this message that the application has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect

Seems to be caused by a corrupt installation of Visual C++ (several versions can be installed-by-side).

You can try to use the sxstrace tool to see if you can find which files are missing or damaged.

  • Tecra A9 fails to start because of system file is missing

    Hello
I bought tecra 1 month and now I can't open my laptop

It has windows xp pre installed and fails to start windows
because the file system is missing.
    What can I do?
I don't have a floppy drive to insert the startup disk
    Help, please!

    Hello

Why you need a floppy disk?
As far as I know this laptop has an internal CD/DVD drive.
I think you simply boot from the Toshiba Recovery CD and must be reinstalled the operating system!

If all goes well it s not a serious fault because sometimes this seems due to HARD drive failure.
But like I said above usually the new installation of operating system restore CD for this problem

    Good luck

  • Re: Satellite A300 sometimes fails to start

My Satellite A300 sometimes fails on start when displaying a logo of Toshiba.
    I don't know why. Y at - it a touch to show a p.o.s.t. tests?

    Sorry for my English.

    Hello

You can change in the BIOS the option to boot from normal to fast.
I think that this will disable the Red Toshiba log and show you the post screen.
But to be honest, I don't know if this could be help full.
In any case, if the laptop is unable to pass on the MESSAGE, something might be wrong on the motherboard; the modules, memory example or similar

  • Satellite A500 fails to start

    Hello

Once in a while (almost once a day), my A500 fails to start.
When I hit the power button, weird lines appear on the screen immediately, and it seems that there is not a lot of power goes to the processor.
It will stay like that until I hit the power button to stop it.

It seems to start fine if I leave for an arbitrary amount of time before trying again.

    Any thoughts?

    See you soon.

HM. For me, it looks a bit like a motherboard maybe hardware problem or GPU.
You are able to access the BIOS?
Please try this and set the default BIOS.
In addition, I would recommend setting the notebook back to factory settings to check if an improvement is noticeable.

But if his equipment really then issues you should get in touch with a local ASP you know

  • HAB check failed for start / could not validate the boot image

    Hello

I have neglected my E bike for a few weeks and when I loaded and it fed today, it shows a menu and:

    HAB check failed to start

could not validate the boot image

Tried all the menu items and none of them worked. For me, it's very odd behavior, because BONE is not affected since the last Android 5 update, several months ago.

Are there opportunities for the device?

If you can't make an external reset via hardware buttons, then your phone will have to service.
