• Problems with mathematics at high speed on FPGA

  I'm new on fixed-point numbers and math at high speed on the FPGA. I use the 7962 with 5751 adaptation module. I am writing a few simple codes to convince me that I understand what I do before writing code more complex. I wrote a simple code to divide two numbers and then multiply the result with one of the original numbers. The block diagram is shown below.

  

  Looks like that the fracture is not working properly. But the multiplication always gives zero, and I can't understand why. A typical result of the façade is illustrated below.

  

  If I remove the divide, the multiplication seems to work fine. Any idea on what I'm doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.

  After more than a day of scratching my head, I realized that one of the entrances to the multiply function is always zero, because it is read 52 cycles later (i.e. when the structure case is false). To resolve this issue, I added a node back feed, so that the data is made in advance and are available to the function to multiply once the function of the line ends. I have attached a picture for those interested / with similar problems.

  

• Import and copy from one catalog to another has some problems-help please

  Hi people,

  I have two catologs on two different disks. I imported a number of raw images from one to another using the copy. He did also copy xmp files, but most of the images do not appear to have been developed. I did something wrong? Is this a new stage so these images acknowledge the work accomplished since the xmp file?

  Second, the virtual copies have been copied not more as well. They are in the first catalog, but not when I imported and copied.

  Help please while I can still understand what images I imported because they are in every sense, and maybe I need to recreate my steps.

  You import or catalog? You need to do the latter.

  

  If you are importing a catalog, remove the images that you have brought to and use the above menu option.

  Really depends on what you have for unique identifiers... If you want just a report of all users with the same name and first name:

• Playlist problems HELP Please!

  Hello! First post here and unfortunately, its about some problems.

  I'm having problems with plalists and don't know how to fix. Okay, I create the playlist in Nero M3U format, encode files

  off a CD to MP3 and then using Wexplore, copy them into the Clip. The playlist is in the Playlist folder and MP3s

  in the folder of songs. OK, it sorta well worked during the first three playlists.  Herer are now the problems:

  1. when I try to play a playlist in the playlist folder, it shows the playlist in a vacuum. The playlist appears however

  in the Albums folder and the first three have played fine from there.

  2. ok, the fourth one that I've added shows in the unknown album for a title folder. He plays very well however songs.

  He appears in the playlist as unknown and 'empty' folder when I try to play from there.

  3. the fifth one I added does not appear in the Albums folder at all (the only place I can play any of the playlists).

  It appears in the playlist folder, but appears as empty when I try to play.

  I used the exact same design and copy for each method and of course make me different results. All the songs

  I copied to see the place of songs and play very well. The playlist feature is not very reliable at this point.

  If anyone has experienced this problem and have a solution, please let me know. I enjoy my video, when it acts right.

  I just properly finish loading all my music and playlists so I can listen to my favorite things when I practice my golf

  Hello. I have a model that consists of a large number of small irregular dots in a diagonal pattern that I have repeated it. I need to make some sort of Warp effect so that the points at the top of the image are crushed together making them more "dense" and low points are tight and more spaced making it "less dense". This effect must be gradually from top to bottom. Essentially points to the environment will be like in the original, in the upper part that they will be crushed and down spread.

  I'm new to Illustrator and have tried envelope distort, but can't seem to find an effect that will give me the progressive change. Can someone help me please?

• Question of InDesign CS4 fonts - URGENT! Help, please!

  I've just upgraded to a new image of iMac 27 "and all my files migrated on. I was in the middle of a vast project of InDesign and have more than 30 files InDesign that I created on my iMac 24 "old.

  Now, here's the problem: when I open one of these InDesign files on my new iMac, it tells me that the two fonts are missing: Gill without (T1) "BOLD" and regular Gill without (T1). How this has happened, I have no idea. But these are the two fonts I use more throughout all 30 records, resulting in 199 errors for each file because of these two fonts 'disappeared '.

  Now when I try to change font Gill Sans Bold and Gill without regular (not T1), it is the same, but the spacing is a fraction of an inch more grand that translates into tens of words on each file being pushed to the next line, which obviously in chaos.  Someone has an idea of what is happening here and how remedy. I used on my 24 "iMac, Leopard and now the new 27" I'm on a Snow Leopard if that makes a difference with the installed fonts - but all my files have been migrated on transfer via Firewire auto so the two systems should be the same!  I'd be super grateful if you could help because right now, I'm screwed!

  

  This is a type 1 font.

  Check the folder InDesign/fonts on the old machine or... just go back to the old machine and package the file.

• ColdFusion problem - help please

  I'm doing a database query to get information about U.S. State codes (TN, GA, AL, etc.) and in my research, I have a drop down menu will allow you to select according to state that you want to search for and based on the State, it gives it this is a specific code and uses it to cross-reference with the database and so on. I want to put in a 'All' or 'Any' in the States and when they choose the it, it uses just all status codes instead of a specific only. Any ideas on how I can get this working?
  
  I have to try some type of if else statement or is it possible to tell in code when the user selects this then just use all the codes together. I'm a bit new to this so any help will be much appreciated. I can put the code snippets I use if necessary.

  Ironic that all this is, I actually thought about it. I'm sorry that I put you guys through it all and I have too much feedback from you all, but I think the if/else instructions helped me a bit. I actually had a request code over on my page with Google map and I had to change around with the declaration of "State". It works exactly as I wanted it now. To be honest I don't really know if I did everything correctly, as I said I'm pretty new to this, but as long as it works and everything is fine, so I think I'll be good to go. Thanks once again everyone and maybe I'll need your help once again down the road.

  I have an Officejet 6500 E709n series, which I use with Windows 7. I used it for several years very well, now for some reason when I scan a document to PDF, it comes out as a huge file. When I just scan a page, it comes out more 2 meg. It shows as not compressed, but I can't find all the parameters relating to compressingthe files. I need to be ready for the email, so it is a serious problem for me. Can someone let me know what happened? Thank you!

  1. open the Solution Center application.
  2. click on the button of Document Scan.
  3. Select "Document in PDF format. Do not select the ' searchable PDF '.
  4. click on the button 'change settings '.
  5. Select the Type of output as 'black '.
  6. click on the 'Advanced settings', and then select the "output resolution" 200.
  7. click on OK. Click done.

  Now, try to scan and check the size of the file.

  Recently, I wrote an app in the App World (so it has been tested and approved by prior RIM).

  When you load the app for the first time, it seems that the app takes 30-40 seconds to completely compile and load. After that it compiles and load for the first time, the application loads up immediately on icon on subsequent clicks.

  The problem is that the application receives bad reviews because end users are assuming that the app does not work (because at that time, no one can wait 30 seconds for nothing).

  Is there a working solution to strengthen the compilation initial time?

  3MB is great for a mobile application, I think that the maximum request size is 5 MB.

  However, installation of the application will take long, and there is no way to improve this time.

  You can move the application's resources and provide as a separate download, I know that some navigation applications that offer you to download the files of language separately, for example.
  Or you may want to inform your users that the application is large and takes a while to install.

  If you do not have McAfee then Windows update than kb2705219 can also be a cause as the uninstall that appeared to solve the problem for some users [but I'm not particularly convinced by this]. To uninstall an update - control panel, programs & features, [left side of the window] see installed updates. Wait until the system has finished the research for the list of updates. Select update required, then right click and Uninstall.
