  Symptom:
  There are leap second periodic events that can add or remove a second time overall.
  When the second update occurs system may hang on because the operating system does not understand "60" seconds (normally clock goes from '59' then on '00' second).

  Option #1: An upgrade is required.
  Option #2: Shut down the system before the leap second occurs and commissioning the leap second event after event workaround.

• How to communicate with a module 9401 using 9151 expansion and PXI-7813r map

  Hello

  I just started with my map of series R 7813.  I could create a simple VI in which I could send and receive digital signals.  Now, I would like to do something similar using my 9151 expansion chassis and 9401 module C-series.  If possible, I would like to do this using windows (no RT for now).  Now I'm right click on "my computer" in the project tree and adding new devices to find the 7813.  From there, I have an idea how build a simple VI using the example of OR.  However, I don't know where to look for the expansion chassis or C Series module.  If someone could give me some advice or point to an example, would be great.  I've seen examples example Finder for the 9401, but they seem to use a system as opposed to the PXI configuration compactDAQ.

  The steps that you must take to configure your installation in the project window LabVIEW is as follows:

  Step 2... This step should be automatically filled in with the existing PXI-7813R if it is connected. If you want to configure the target without the smart card, you can simply add a new target as follows.

• R series connection powered by block and able to connect to BNC

  Good afternoon

  I recently bought a NI PCI-7811R card in order to get the correct group resolution needed to randomize an excimer laser from the input of a broadcast.  I've been putting together FPGA program and during my first test I noticed that the connection BNC 2090 block that we use for all our other activities data acquisition has not been powered.  When I bought the card I forgot to buy the block connector as well, thinking that we could use the one we had always used.  Well, it turns out that was a mistake.  Apparently the R series card is not feeding the 2090.  First of all, is it possible to configure the 2090 so the map R series (I don't think so given the conformation of the spindle) fuel and secondly, if this is not possible, is there a connection block that can be powered by the map of the R series which will accept connections BNC.  While I think about it, if it is not a compatible BNC connector can I just cut the BNC cable connection and use the wire for the spring Council?

  If you are needing some BNC connections, I would recommend just using the junction SCB-68 box and wiring connections BNC yourself.

  The CA-1000 is essentially an empty metal box.  You can then buy mini-panneaux for what you want to mount.  The 2 "included" means that there are 2 BNC connections on each mini-pane BNC.  This does not mean that the CA-1000 comes with two mini-panneaux.

  Yet once, for only a few connections, if she doesn't need to look really nice and form-taking into account, the SCB - 68 and just a few threads of connection BNC would suffice.  If you need more beautiful, the CA-1000 and a few NBC as well as the SCB-68 or inside the CB-68LPR mini-panneaux would work as well.

  It's great that you found the information of the Germany card in wizards of creation. Region of map information is also available on the page of the map for an existing map series. So if you go to change your map query, go to the map page series and if you scroll to the end of this page you will find another region of the 'map region Information' show/hide which will show the information associated with your chosen card source .amap file. We integrated the AnyChart map reference information in our user interface, so you don't have to refer to documentation AnyChart online all the time. You can of course also see documentation of AnyChart here: http://anychart.com/products/anychart/docs/users-guide/map_reference/maps-ref.html?fromtree. Please note that the AnyChart information for your chosen card contains no umlauts, so you will need to consider when you build your map.   This is detailed in bug ID CSCdx48695, and as you have discovered, one of the solutions (although it is not listed in the bug) is to add dummy "isakmp crypto key... No.-xauth ' commands for each of the IPSec peers.

  The bug workaround is as follows:

  When you use PRE-SHARED Key, use the xauth extension no command key cryptographic isakmp.

  for example, address key crypto isakmp xauth No.

  To certificates or nuncios Encrypted, you must use encryption for LAN to LAN card and

  another for remote access (active xauth). If the physical interfaces are limited,

  the interfaces can be used.

  So, I guess that a "more elegant" way to create two different crypto maps, two secondary interfaces and use for the client with Xauth connections and connections L2L with CERT. If it were me, I would stick with the hack.

  You can change the configuration of the Easy VPN NEM mode just the VPN LAN-to-LAN tunnel, or demote according to listed in the bug workaround solution to solve the problem.

• P7-1240/UEFI/GeForce GTX 750Ti

  I have an old P7-1240 of 2 years... it runs Windows 7.

  I just tried to install a card EVGA GEFORCE GTX inside 750Ti.

  Card fits very well and the HP screen comes up... but black screen then when Windows tries to start.

  Remove the card and return to the onboard video works fine.  I did this several times.

  From what I see to speak with the support of GeForce, it seems to be a problem of BIOS or UEFI.

  It doesn't seem to be a new BIOS version available from HP support.

  The machine supports UEFI?

  When you look at the boot sequence seems to me, that it lists sources of UEFI Boot.

  Also in the BIOS it seems not be anyway to disable the onboard video (as it is supposed to detect automatically).

  Map was new from the box, so it is unlikely that it is defective (especially since it displays welcome/BIOS HP).

  Help please, any ideas welcome!

  Sorry should have said it is with the card GeForce 660... did not yet try map 700 series since EVGA said that it would not work certainly.

  I'm looking at the SMU 7857R.  I would use the 8 analog inputs and the FPGA to do some annalysisy and DIO based on the best data.  I was wondering if it is possible to also define a DAQ task so that all analog data will be made available to the host.  Using a data acquisition task would be easier for me to have to write code fpga for use a DMA fifo to send back data.

  A data acquisition task is only for devices Data Acquisition product supported by driver DAQmx as X-, M-, S-, maps E-Series. The boards of the R series are only supported by the driver OR RIO.
  If you don't need pre-treatment on the FPGA so that you can distribute simple data through DMA on your host. If you are looking for an API for the comparable FPGA with the DAQmx API then please check the NI CompactRIO waveform reference library. You can also use the library for R Series boards.

I have 24 (0-5 VDC) pwm signals I need to monitor on a continuous basis during the durability test. Currently, I use counters on a map of series x (6323 PCIe) but my sample size has increased and we prefer not to use the 6 daq cards.

  The precision with which you need to measure the cyclical report, regarding the units of time?  Or, Alternatively, what is the minimum time you need to be able to measure?  I do not have a 6323, but it seems you can do in the buffer for the acquisition of digital signals up to 1 MHz; It is fast enough for your application?  If so, you can calculate the cyclical report by reading a certain number of samples (several periods is probably best), adding the number of real samples and dividing by the total number of samples.  (I do this by using the Boolean value to 0.1 function, cast from a 32-bit value, if necessary, then add the elements of the array and split.)

• Write to measure file by default to 'save to a file.

  I am using the 'write to Measurment queue' to do a series of files - but as soon as I hit ok it is default to 'save to a file. Even without running the VI he defines simply himself back. I have attached files what it looks like before you hit OK, the settings, and what happens when I close.

  Maybe it's a bug?

  Also, if you can see, I don't want the file to be called testdata__, but there is no way to change the prefix of the file because the area is grayed out. Any way to change this either?

• CAN PXI-8461 with VeriStand using

  I have two cards CAN in my chassis: 8512 and a 8461.  The chassis has the latest NI-CAN driver installed and XI-NET 1.0.0.  I can see/access the 8512 without any problem.  I cannot see/do not know how to configure the 8461 for use with VeriStand.  Under MAX, XI-NET does not list the 8461, but I see it in PXI - 1 chassis system.  It don't will not, however, let me do something with it from there.  Any help is appreciated.

  The 8461 is map of series 2, which cannot be used with the NI-CAN driver (OR-XNET has no effect at this point).

  To begin, start in MAX the NI-CAN by accessing tools configuration tool-> NI - CAN-> RT Hardware Configuration.

  Once you have configured the flow rate in bauds, termination, etc etc etc go to System Explorer (SE), add a CAN Port and specify the baud rate according to the settings you selected in MAX. Then import the incoming and outgoing images and you're good to go...

  Hiya.  I know that the clock signal is decimated on the chessboard in a few places... is there a function in the linux api c for export a decimated signal?  Can I choose any arbitrary decimation, or am I limited to the various bases of time used on the map (a series of M in my case)?

  You use DAQmx (8.0 or 8.0.1)?  If so, you have a few options:

  Counter output:  Available frequencies are {80 MHz, 20 MHz, 100 kHz, external} / {2: 2,³²-1}

  Output frequency:  Available frequencies are {10 MHz, 100 kHz} / {01:16}

  Export clock of AI or AO task:  Available frequencies are {external 20 MHz, 100 kHz,} / {2: 2,³²-1}, but going too fast will result in a material synchronizing error on ADC or DAC.

  On the M-series: DAQ there are two counters, a single frequency output, HAVE a single timing engine and a single engine timing AO (if your motherboard supports AO).  Simply choose any subsystem available to you.  If you have need of a constant 10 kHz and then the frequency output is perfectly adequate, it is programmed similar to a meter output (reference Dev1/freqout instead of Dev1/ctr0).

  If I remember correctly (I'm on Windows for now), on Linux the C ANSI DAQmx examples should be installed in \usr\local\natinst\nidaqmx\examples.  It should be an example of output included continuous meter.
