USB back attach an android for a Windows 7 laptop

There are a number of articles describing how reverse USB attached Android device on a PC with an internet connection.

We have configured with success of the approach based on the inverse tie using a device rooted with a tablet of gen Nexux 7 USB 2.

the problem we have is that if the nexus can Pinger the PC, we cannot ping the tablet to the PC.

I thought that, once you have a network interface on a device, all traffic on that subnet would automatically get shipped down the appropriate network card, and therefore as the USB device is on the same subnet as the attached device remote, reverse, it's trivial to network packets to be sent to the bottom of this card.

However, that seems not to be the case and we cannot connect PC to the card.  We cannot ping android from the pc.  the command line to see which way the network request will also appear to hang.

I guess that there something more at the network level, finding himself in game due to the internet connection sharing.  In fact, we want to only communicate between android and the pc, so the Tablet is not obliged to communicate beyond the PC.

So the questions are I guess:

With a device rooted, configured with USB remote modem, using the Microsoft RNDIS drivers from the internet is there no fundamental reason so that the PC can not communicate to the bottom of the connection to the Tablet?

Is there a configuration additional requirements for the PC such as adding an order of road to direct traffic to the bottom of the USB interface attached?

Thank you very much in advance for any advice.

Nick

  • Error: One of the USB devices attached to this system has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it.

tried already everything written here. When I plug my USB device (3 of them) my Windows a sad of the USB devices attached to this system has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it. I tried plugging it into another winXP machine, it won't work. Can you help me?

    Original title: usb malfunction

    His salvation,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

    1. What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried so far?
    2. If it works much earlier? If so, did you do changes on the computer before this problem?
    3. What type of USB device you are using?

As you mentioned that the USB device does not work when plugged into a WinXP machine, it may be a problem with the device itself. In addition, the question may also arise if the currently loaded USB driver has become unstable or damaged or if your PC requires an update for problems that could conflict with a device USB and Windows.

Therefore, I suggest you try the following methods (skip the ones that you already tried) and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

Please try the fixit (s) provided below which will help you solve common problems associated with devices and USB ports.

If method 1 does not work, try Method 2.

    Method 2:

Remove and reinstall all USB controllers.

    1. Open Manager devices by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click system and security, and then, under System, clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. In the list of the categories of equipment, locate and expand Bus USB controllers.
    3. Right-click every device under the Bus USB controllers node and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
    4. Restart the computer and let the USB controllers get reinstalled.
    5. Plug in the removable USB device and test to make sure that the problem is solved.

If the problem persists, go to method 3.

    Method 3:

This method will install the latest drivers from device to your USB device.

    1. Click the Start button, type Windows Update in the search box, and then click Windows Update in the results pane.
    2. Click find updates. When the scan finished, click optional review updates.
    3. Click the check box next to the update, and then click install updates.
    4. If you are prompted, read the license agreement, then click I agree.
    5. Follow the instructions on the screen to download and install updates.
    6. If you are prompted, restart your computer.

  • WNDR3700v2 attached USB drive gets lost in the 10 Windows after a restart

I am up-to-date on all the drivers/firmware on the router and the PC as far as I know. Given that the problem occurs when connected both wired and wireless, this indicates a problem with a driver Ethernet on the PC?

  • Error "one of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it." when you connect Logitech M225

    Original title:

My wireless mouse works fine for the last 2 months, now, all of a sudden it doesn't work at all.

I get a windows notification that says-

"One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it."

I have Vista 32 bit OS on my laptop.

My office has Windows 7 32 bit and I am able to use the mouse on this computer, then the M225 is not defective.

I tried to look for a download of update on the site of Logitech & only found:

6.32.20 set - point it did nothing to help.

I also tried to move the receiver to the other 2 ports USB w / still the same results.

Are there other downloads or solutions that will help w / this problem?

You can also try searching for devices strangers (with yellow symbols) in the Manager under the mouse devices and other pointing devices and other devices (if any). Right click and uninstall unknown devices. Then restart.

Also try the steps below to reset the power of USB:
    (a) the laptop off, unplugged from the wall outlet.
    (b) remove the battery for a few minutes, then reinstall it.
    (c) then restart the laptop.

Can I connect my android for my PC in windows phone 7, but not to those at work. Scientists do not know why!

I am trying to connect to a machine newly built W7 who has free access to the internet and from the guys in IT is not locked down. But there is clearly something different from my home machine. Both are Windows 7 Ultimate on a home group, not to a domain.

I use an adapter Bluetooth USB 4 and can sucessfully pair my phone to work, but my application (remote Unified) says "connection refused".

I tried to disable the firewall and looked at all the parameters that I can find.

I went through the windows wizards advocatus - all of this without any problem.

I'm looking to help him find the source of the issue of refusal of connection.

    Hi Gutzy,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

If I understand correctly, you have 2 computers that have all two windows 7 Ultimate installed on them and the two are not on the field. The PC that is at home works well, when you try to connect to your phone by using unified remote right?  You can pair your phone with Bluetooth, 4 USB adapt to the work, but you are unable to take control remotely using Remote unified.

It shows that it might be the security settings of the computer at work. Would be better to answer this question in the Technet Forums. Please send the query in the link below.

It works, BUT everything is very slow, just browsing, so I'm sure resource intensive CAD software will be unacceptable. Where the interest in Bootcamp. Preferring to leave my primary HD intact, I would use a Reader USB 200 GB extra as the "windows partition" as this should allow everything to work more effectively.
