USB - Use Toshiba 2 GB Transfalsh as boot media

Hallo,

I bought a Toshiba 2 GB Transflash USB. I want to use the stick as Bootmedia. All the software I've found needs a partition BACK, the 2 GB drive is too big. I need software to make this disc bootable or something to make a new partition.

Can someone help me?

First to my knowledge it of not possible to boot from the USB key.
BIOS doesn t supports this feature.
You can start from the USB-floppy drive / HDD / ODD and LAN

PS: But if you still want to create a partition on the key, try using the PartitionsMagic 8 or higher. It may be possible to create the partition on the USB key.
(I m not 100%.) I used it only on the internal HARD disk)

    Hello

Of course, you can take the TV Store.E to back up the files. The HARD drive has a USB interface which means you can connect your laptop or a computer via a USB cable and save the files on it. :)

    Thank you, Lenkost.

Your question 1,... should be possible if BT stack supports a stereo audio gateway. Ever experience this, so I can't give you a concrete answer on this... try it ;)

For your question 2,... Yes, it is indeed possible. Phone calls on your laptop via BT works very well.

You can even do more advanced things as "read incoming SMS messages on your computer without even touching the phone" (they pop up as a message of "MSN"), or proximity to unlock your 'screensaver' as soon as you (your mobile phone) closer to the laptop...

  • Error message when you try to use Toshiba Disc Creator

I recently upgraded to Vista SP1 SP2 and now I get an error message when I try to use Toshiba Disc Creator 2.0.1.3. "An unexpected error has occurred. Error code 32007C-26-00000001 "it worked perfectly before.

This is the first time that I used it since the update so I think that SP2 may be part of the problem, but I'm not sure. I could not find updates for TDC. My system is a Satellite L305-S5919 with Vista 32 bit.
Someone has an idea of what could be the cause of this error?
    Thank you

Have you tried to roll back the OS in time and checking the previous features once again, just to be sure, it has something to do with the installation of SP2?

I put t know if anyone here can offer a solution but I m quite pessimistic in this topic and don t think that Toshiba provide new version.
AFAIK Toshiba disc creator is always available with single and also downloadable image recovery application.

HOW CAN I GET A HP LASERJET 4V IN ORDER TO PROPERLY USE THE OPERATING SYSTEM TO XP PRO AND USB USING A PARALLEL CABLE?

The printer works at all with this cable?

The cable has recognized and installed by Windows XP when you logged on to the computer?

If the cable has been recognized, what steps have you taken to install the printer then (be as accurate and complete as possible)?

You get an error message?  If so, please provide, without paraphrasing.

This printer has already been installed on this computer?  If so, with what type of connection?

And especially, what is the brand and model of the USB to parallel cable?  Many of them do not work.  See, for example, the comments here , which suggests that 25% of the units will simply not work.  This seems to be one of these products you should buy at a local store, rather than on the Internet, then you can continue taking it back until you get a working unit.

  • Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key

I have an Asus UX31 of Zenbook ultrabook. It is running Windows 8, I installed it via download, is not a physical disk.

Recently, I ran Windows Update and he knew as usual, until the time of reset. It restarts, showed on the screen "install updates", but then finally started only the following error message:

"Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.

As mentioned, I don't have a disc, my ultrabook is not a hard drive. Internal storage only that there is a 128 GB SSD. I went into the bios and check the boot settings and the SSD is correctly listed as the only option to start.

I can only assume some question that's happened with the update of windows. I'm not sure of how to proceed now? ATM, I only have a weight £1000 :/

    Hello r,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

By the description of the problem, I understand that you have problems starting from the computer to the desktop screen, it gives the above error message.

I imagine how it could be frustrating when things do not work as expected. I appreciate your efforts to solve this problem.

As this problem occurred after installing Windows Update, this could be the reason for the incompatible driver installed with the Windows updates.

As you have already checked the settings for starting a disc SSD set correctly, I suggest you disconnect all the external device and restart the computer, check if are able to boot to the desktop screen.

We will try the following methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you create USB recovery media as your laptop doesn't have the DVD Rom.

If you're having problems with your PC, a recovery USB disk can help you troubleshoot and fix these problems, even if your PC does not start.

Create an installation media for Windows 8.1
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

Method 2: Once you create USB recovery media, auto repair:

Follow the steps below to perform an automatic repair:

1 restart the computer, wait for the logo of the manufacturer to check the option of start menu, it will usually F12.
    2. the start menu key can be different with each manufacturer. If you are unable to find the start menu button, you can consult the user manual.
    3. restart the computer, when appears the logo of the manufacturer, continue to press the Boot option menu key to enter the boot menu and change the option to boot in DVD ROM.
    4. Once you start your computer by using Windows 8 DVD or system repair disc, a black screen appears with the gray text "press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press a button on any.
    5. Select the exact time and the type of keyboard.
    6. click on repair your computer in the lower left corner.
    7. click on troubleshooting, advanced option and then click on auto repair.

Hope this helps, please reply with the status of the question to get help.

The 'Ticking' noise is indicative of an HD program.  You can made a brick out of it.  The Message on the selection of the appropriate boot device indicates the tilt of the computer 'See' the HD.

You see the HD in the BIOS when you start?
