  I'm learning to use Notification for communication between threads. I still don't know how to use it. In my current project, I have a case to use it so I think I should implement this technique. This is my example I have a main sequence that I make a new thread. What I want, this is the new thread will make a task A when receive a notfication or out the thread when to stop the main sequence.

  I don't know if using notification is advised here? Or do I have to use a reference data?

  What if I want my son to task B if it receives another notification. Notification is always be useful?

  That's right, you can call the Notification - game directly from the MainSequence indeed.

  Here is an example: the StopProcessA sequence is not absolutely necessary - it's just for purposes of modularity.

• When to use a persistent storage?

  Hi all

  I have created applications that use the persistent storage, and I created applications that use a SQLite database.  I also have applications that use both.  My question is this:

  Persistent storage should be limited to what it stores?  For example, should persistent storage serve more for purposes of storage of simple things like "font size selected user for the application" and "a hash of default language table and its code of language of the application"?  Alternatively, could also be recommended to act almost like a database, for example when a user does not have an SD card installed - in which case store you several vectors of objects and others?

  Is there a possibility of persistent storage is only not available due to limited space?  For example, if the user has a large number of other applications that use the persistent storage?

  Finally, I believe that persistent storage is only erased in the event of a battery pull, etc..  Is it also possible to delete in other ways, like a reboot?

  I look at the characteristics of the data I store and the characteristics of the options (SQLite, folder on card SD or PeristentStore) and make a decision on this basis.

  The highlights for me are

  (a) the size of the data

  (b) requirement of presence

  (c) the use of the data

  (d) deletion of data

  Working through these:

  (a) size

  There is a reasonable amount of available devices, as well as more than PeristentStore.  If you have a vector of strings of 10,000, each 100 bytes long, it's always only! MB of storage.  And there are managers of low storage that you can listen to and store your use of the PersistentStore.  But there is more space on an SD card, and no chance to shake the Blackberry is that you use up too much memory (if you use PersistentStore the unit clears things like the old emails that can disrupt your users).

  (b) requirement of

  No, it remains on a battery pull.  To clear, regular forms are to wipe the device, or remove the application that uses it.

  I have a user interface class that communicates with a background class by sending commands with world events to the base class. Two of them also uses a persistent storage.

  A simple method to retrieve return values could be to use a persistent as this storage:

  The user interface does:

  3. going in a loop with a Thread.sleep and check if the back entrance is always empty

  After a number of loops decides that no response will be provided.

  The background task does:

  A single Thread.yield is very good indeed, but if you put the user interface in a loop, just treatment Thread.yield () and the test for completion, instead of blocking your Thread event you will be hogging your event Thread and the operating system can get mad that too.

  As to notify the Ui that a message has been processed, Yes, the Observer Interface to do this.

  I've just updated the vCenter Server from 5.5U1 to 5.5U2b. In 'Health Service', there are new warning message:

  "Cannot control the use of database storage. See VMware KB 2078305 for more details".

  I use MS SQL 2008 R2 SP1 Express, which is supported by this version of vCenter. There are also a lot of free space on the disk of the server (63 GB free). Ko 2078305 does not explain this particular warning message and the data of events for task and retention policy are also defined.

  A download cannot certainly be corrupted, even if it seems normal... The only way to be sure is to compare the size of the file and checksum of the file MD5 or SHA1 against those reported on the download site.

  RAM is not for storage.

  You'll want to buy a larger SSD.

  But with an SSD of larger and is delivered with all questions of current hard drive cloning etc..

I know enough that IT is dangerous (e.g. not much!), but need advice on options on a good way to potentially combine these requirements (storage backup and film). Potentially, something like a new RAID drive plugged into a router. RAID drive backups using Time Machine and then also has films on which can be wired (via the USB port? Ethernet to Apple TV 4th Gen to HDMI to TV?) TV to watch movies. Not sure if I need something like Plex media server or something to do, however.

  As long as you keep paying the monthly fee, you keep the storage that has been purchased. If you are unable to renew next month, then you lose the additional storage space. It does not.

Family sharing is not designed to allow the use of different iCloud storage to a device with a different ID to Apple. The closest to that is to share photos in a stream of family photos.
