  1. to create a new Partition on hard drive Windows 7
  NOTE: If you want to install XP on a separate internal hard drive instead, then skip this step and go to step 2.

  (A) in Windows 7, select and reduce the volume of Windows 7 in how disk management MB (1024 MB = 1 GB) you want to have the XP partition. (See screenshots below)

  2. insert your XP installation disc, and then restart the computer and press any key to start from when you are prompted. (See screenshot below)
  NOTE: Ensure that the CD/DVD drive is selected first in the boot order in the BIOS.

  NOTE: On some multimedia keyboards you need to maybe press the F-Lock or key function before you press F8.

  

  5. select (step 1) partition or hard drive that you want to install XP on the help of the arrow keys and press ENTER.

  NOTE: In XP, Net Framework must be installed to run EasyBCD. Only 'free download for limited and non-commercial use downstairs' or 'Older Versions' to the right are free to EasyBCD. Registration is not required to download EasyBCD.

  8 run EasyBCD (free version).
  NOTE: This is necessary to fix the Windows 7 boot file and add to the list of Windows XP boot manager.

  9 on the left side of EasyBCD, click on the button Add a new entry . (See screenshot below)

  (A) in the upper part under operating system, click the Windows (see screenshot below)

  (B) to the right of Type, select Windows NT/2 k/XP/2 k 3 in the menu drop-down. (See screenshot below)

  
  WARNING: Don't forget to leave the box checked automatically detect the correct drive .

  (C) to the right of the name, you can leave the default value of Microsoft Windows XP under the name to display in the Windows Boot Manager, or you can type any name , you do not want to have instead. (See screenshot below)

  10 on the left side of EasyBCD, click the Deployment of BCD , select (dot) the option install the bootloader of Windows Vista/7 on MBR and click Write MBR . (See screenshot below)

  The vob files play great in vlc on my dvd player.

  When I click on get media, the files are imported.

  When I try to read (after rendering), the first second, they play, they are clear, but then they blurred in a manner similar to the difference between hd on youtube and rate of 240.

  Then I tried setting up the project clearly using incorrect settings. When I insert the video in the timeline, the application tells me it's the wrong setting and I want to automatically change the settings depending on the video, if I say NO, then the video plays without being distorted and blurred, however he jumps because it's the wrong setting.

  If I say YES, then the video plays but plays fuzzy.

  It tells me that the application cannot identify the setting correct video project for this or any other file that I have to insert either of vob or avi.

  I have an old machine with 10 Windows installed that I want to convert to Windows 7, so I can run some software open source (Hadoop etc) and use it as a training machine.  I have MS Win 7 Ultimate license - but I don't see otherwise than to use the option "recovery" as described in a post on the MS community.  It's a little scary - if you go to settings > Update & security > Recovery > reset this PC > Get Started, then it asks if you want everything clear, or, keep personal files.

  It does not say right here that it will restore the original operating system which I believe has Win 7 (but may even have been something before - I don't remember).  I ran thinking maybe I would see a choice of OS to come back, but it starts just the treatment as he was going to erase everything.

  Question is: what happens to that > starting point.  You will get some choice of OS to come back until your existing operating system image is deleted?

  You have a problem of name resolution, caused by the use of a parameter "nom_archive" with the same name as a column in the table. You can solve this problem in a procedure or function by prefixing the parameter to the procedure of the file name, for example. my_procedure.file_name, by naming the parameter differently or in an anonymous block, using a LABEL of PL/SQL.

  There are 255 characters (fixed) - or a less than before, don't know if they still are that length.

• PDM file with automatic backup on corrupts the data.

  When I test data stream into a file to PDM using AutoSave = true, data is corrupted in the 'package' #3 and beyond.

  I write matched double/DateTime data to a TDMS file configured as TdmsWaveformLayout.PairedTimeAndSampleChannels.

  When I try to read the PDM file, for example using the sample application to drive, I get all sorts of errors. Notably, the number of timestamps is not equal the number of samples (values y). More data is corrupted. In other words, the timestamps are invalid and the sample data is essentially random.

  This happens every time I write the third package/lot and beyond. If I write a single sample, followed by another single sample, the third will be corrupted. If I write 1 kilosample, followed by 1 kilosample, sample no. # 2001 will be corrupted.

  I guess that something is very wrong in the automatic backup routine, as data are always written correctly when I explicitly save the PDM file.

  It's using MS 8.9.0.246 in Visual Studio 2008 SP1 using .NET framework 3.5 SP1 on Windows 7.

  The TDMS file is created in the following way. Note that AutoSave is set to false to avoid the bug.

  For those who can run in it before we are able to get a fix on, a viable solution is to turn off auto-save and save the TDMS file any time a change to the file is made manually, such as after adding channels or groups, or write data.  This will not negatively affect performance, because that's exactly what the property of automatic backup.

  It should also be noted that this problem arises when you use the layout of the TdmsWaveformLayout.PairedTimeAndSampleChannels waveform.

  I'll post back later when we have a fix for this problem.
