Use the CHECKIN_NEW function in the browser url

Hello

I use gR 10, 3 of the Complutense University of MADRID.

I wonder if it is possible to use the CHECKIN_NEW service by simply entering the url in the http path. I was checking the postCheckInStandard() function which is called when the user is clicking on the checkin button in the AAU administration Web page. There is no check the input values and defining the IdcService to "CHECKIN_NEW" and then send the form. So from my understanding I would be also able to use the service CHECKIN_NEW in my url of the browser that would make a GET request instead of a POST request.

So what I did that I entered the following URL in my browser
http://<serverName>/<instanceName>/idcplg?IdcService=CHECKIN_NEW&dDocType=Picture&dDocTitle=TestCheckin&dDocAuthor=http_checkin&dSecurityGroup=Secure&primaryFile=C:/Work/Chrysanthemum.jpg&IsJava=1
Why does this work? Is it works not because the primaryFile entry type is "file" instead of "text"?

Greetings
Brahim

You should see some kind of error in the page or output server or server logs. This would help narrow this down.

Services Guide:

If you try to set the author (dDocAuthor) to someone else that currently
the logged on user, you must have Admin security attributes being
assigned to the document.

If the content uses a security of the entity, the user must have at least write permission
granted by entities, unless the user has administrator at the security group rights
be assigned to the document.

The error is probably when the content item was not correctly set.

This service runs the CHECKIN_NEW_SUB permutation. This sub-service
checking in a new revision of the content item.

Additional parameters of Service required
dDocName: the content for the content item ID. If the generation auto content ID is enabled, this parameter is not required. If dDocName is set, it overrides the ID. autogenerated content the content ID cannot contain spaces or no valid character ;/?------ : @& = + "#%<>* ~ | [ ].
dDocAuthor: the author of the content item (contributor).
dDocTitle: the title of the content item.
dDocType: the content item Type.
dSecurityGroup: the Group of security such as Public or protected.
dDocAccount: the account of the content item. Required only if the accounts are
permit.
primaryFile: the absolute path to the location of the file as seen from the server. Use the forward slash as the separator file. A primary file must be specified, unless the audit in the metadata only. When an alternate
file is specified with the primary file, the refinery of content converts the alternate
file. Otherwise, the primary file is converted.

The required custom fields: custom metadata fields required must also be
specified.

Example of
IdcService = CHECKIN_NEW
dDocName = test1111
dDocTitle = test information
dDocAuthor = john
dSecurityGroup = public
primaryFile = c: / test.txt
doFileCopy = 1

doFileCopy: 1 (true): the file is not removed from the hard drive after logging.

    I installed Oracle 10 g Release 2 on Oracle Enterprise (version of Enterprise Linux AS 4 (October 7 update)).

    I started the listener and enterprise manager using emctl start dbconsole command successfully.

    As I am new to linux, I don't know how to open the url EM Linux.

    What browser should I use (exact version that is compatible with the version of Enterprise Linux AS 4 (October update 7).) How do I install the browser and open enterprise manager using the browser.
    I don't even know if any browser is installed during the installation of linux. How can I check if any browser installed or not?

    No one can guess what you have installed or how you have configured your system or the installation of Oracle. The default browser for Oracle Linux 4 is Konqueror, which is not compatible with the MS Oracle dbconsole.

    You might want to try the following:

    Open a Terminal command prompt (System Applications/tools) and enter the following command:

    su - root
    cd /etc/yum.repos.d
    wget http://public-yum.oracle.com/public-yum-el4.repo
    yum -y install firefox

    To open a Firefox browser window, open the Web icon in the Menu, next to the Actions or the Applications/Internet or type firefox in an X 11 terminal window.

    The default URL for the dbconsole EM is:

    http://hostname_or_ip:5500 / em

  • 37 of Firefox crashes when you use the browser of peacekeeper test

    Hi guys, I've updated my browser Firefox 37 and it crashes on me whenever I use the browser of peacekeeper test. I had no problem using the website in the past. Whenever I update my browser I have run the test to compare previous results as well as compare results with Google Chrome.

    It works very well with chrome, but crashes 2 minutes FF37 test. I tried to run in Mode safe as well, but it still crashes. My plug-ins are up to date and I tried a refresh as well. I don't have any other applications while running the test, just the browser was opened with a tab. I am running Windows 7.

    This is the website of guardian of peace: http://peacekeeper.futuremark.com/

    I sent the Mozilla Crash Reporter.

    Hi @user293, @jscher2000 , and @cor-el, thanks a lot for your comments and help with this question, I've had. I tried to disable WebGL and ran to guardian of peace, and it worked well. There is no crash.

    How to disable WebGL: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardwar...]

    I guess now disabled shouldn't really pose a problem for me? When the new version of Firefox was released in may, I'll turn on WebGL and see if this problem has been resolved.

  • How can I customize the toolbar when you use the browser of the attribute

    In CVI 2012, changes in the toolbar depending on the environment, for example, it is different to the source window and the user interface editor. The toolbar can be customized using the Options menu / toolbar...

    Unfortunately, when you use the browser of the attribute of the user interface editor, another toolbar is displayed, i.e. not the UI Editor toolbar... I would have assumed that the browser of the attribute belongs to the user interface editor, obviously this isn't... So, how can I customize the toolbar when you use the browser of the attribute?

  • Using the browser as a front end for an application

    I'm still relatively new to this Yes, you can forgive any missteps.

    I'm developing an application that needs to use the browser as its user interface. I want to capture all requests from the browser content and their service myself in the application.

    Is browser.field the only way to do it? I would have preferred using the API generic as much as possible.

    I built the BrowserFieldSampleApplication of JDE 4.2.1 with Netbeans, but I can't make it work. I copy the cod on the device, but it doesn't appear anywhere I have the same problem with the Simulator.

    Any help much appreciated.

    I gave up trying to get this to work because I was not really interested in using a HTTPConnection.

    Thanks for your help anyway.

  • Cannot use the browser Simulator

    It's weird. Ago, I installed a simulator of 9000 "BOLD" (4.6.0.126) and have been running and fine Eclipse debugging very well. Today, when I run the Simulator and try to establish a connection through the browser to test an OTA installation, I get an alert: "this is a Wi - Fi service. Please make sure that your device is equipped with an active WiFi connection and try again. "The MDS Simulator is running. I can't connect to any website at all (BlackBerry bookmarks, Google, etc.) with the browser.

    I tried fiddling with mobile phones and wireless networks options ad nauseam. I have re-installed the Simulator. I rebooted my machine. Without success. Other simulators seem to work fine (I can connect using the browser through MDS). It is just this "BOLD" simulator which seems to have problems.

    Any suggestions on how to fix it?

    Two suggestions:

    (a) start the WiFi on the device.  Just use the management of connections, Set Up WiFi and let the search - he wall find a default WiFi Service

    (b) check the default browser.  Options of--> advances... _ the browser.  Make sure that it is browser or BlackBerry Browser and not the HotSpot browser.

    Sounds like you just switched to Hotspot browser by default.  However, I tried just that myself and do not see the same symptoms.  So maybe not.  But anyway give it a try.

    Yesterday, I posted my emails from my hotmail account seem to come in batches to my Curve 8330. Someone suggested that the problem was due to MS Messenger running on my computer. In situations of this kind, it would be useful to post again this same thread, so that we can follow the previous suggestions.

  • Generate class files using the WSDL url and wsimport

    I am trying to create a java application that hits the service exposed by hub.

    To create the application in java, I'm generating class files using the WSDL that is created and exposed by the hub.

    Executed steps:

    1 created an application in OPA.

    2. deployed on the hub (usinf deploy option of snapshot on Policy Modeling)

    3. in the deployment tab, I see the request and get the url of the wsdl by clicking on it.

    I try on this wsdl wsimport command. But it gives me following error messages.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    C:\***\AllFiles > wsimport http://localhost:7001/hub/determinations-Server/assess/SOAP/generic/12.2/AttemptOne?WSDL

    Unable to parse the WSDL file.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    If I store the wsdl file in a file on my local computer, and then run wsimport, it generates the classes very well.

    Can someone provide me with a way that I can generate the classes using the wsdl url and not the local file?

    Also, do I need to create a connection in the Connections tab on the hub?

    Thanks in advance.

    -Alain

    Looks like you could run in the user authentication when wsimport runs against the WSDL. Instead of the WSDL, its reception, the login page.

    The best way to work around this problem is perhaps what you do already - to obtain the wsdl and save them in a file.

    Another solution is to disable the restriction of connection to the Web Service API. You can do this in the menu on the users page (admin role can turn on and off.

    You can switch between a user and a password with the call of the WSDL file, but I don't know if its possible to do with wsimport

    See you soon

  • Load modules using the moduleLoader url property?

    My requirement is to load a module by using the following URL

    "' somthing.swf? a = b and b = c"

    It can load the module and put some values after it is loaded. But when I create an instance of the moduleLoader and set the Url property does nothing. My code is as follows

                            url += constructUrl()+"?"; // something like 'modules/vst/visitModule.swf' will be returned

                   if(_modLoader){
                        _modLoader.addEventListener(ModuleEvent.READY,readyMod);
                        _modLoader.addEventListener(ModuleEvent.ERROR,loadError);
                        _modLoader.addEventListener(ModuleEvent.PROGRESS,loadProgress);
                        _modLoader.addEventListener(ModuleEvent.UNLOAD,unload);
                        _modLoader.applicationDomain = ApplicationDomain.currentDomain;
                        _modLoader.url = url;
                             }

    Do you think something wrong here? I'm using Flex 3.2.

    I read in the forum below to the http://forum.springsource.org/archive/index.php/t-65228.html solution but could not operate. Yet to try.

    Thank you

    Well yew statement protecting the loadModule() call looks like this:

    If (_url! = null & loadRequested)
    loadModule();

    Assuing url is not null, loadRequested must be false. This seems to indicate that you do not have ModuleLoader declared in a mxml file. The ModuleLoader created using actionscript? If so, you must call loadModule().
