Use the date field to store times
Hi guys, in my form, I am currently using a date field to store the duration. The user is supposed to enter the time in hh: mm, however, when they enter in a wrong format, the default message appears "format should be dd/mm/yyyy" is it possible to change this message or there at - it another way to do such a thing? Maybe I need my own validation any on the input field?Any help will be appreciated.

the advantage of using the date dimension.

I have a table of facts with 5 different dates as the shipping date, the order date.
My question is
Case 1. in fact, table I store date_keys (substitution integers) and create several date dimensions (alas) for each type of date as a date_dimension alias for the shipping date, an alias for the date of the order etc (in the model of declaration).
Case 2: I just avoid using the date and just store date dimension (no integers) in fact table.
In this way I will save 5 joints in 5 dimensions of different date.
Note: I have need of these 5 participates in the declaration of model that will be used to create reports, not in the model ETL in dimension model ETL that one date will be there, but we must create on alias the dimension date for each type of report date.
So, I was wondering what is the advantage of using the date dimension?It is more a question of design/statement of a question of ETL/ODI;).
The advantage of the dimension is that you can select or aggregate data by year, weekends, quarter, month, day of the week...
If you only keep the date, you had all these complexes of the formula in logic or calculated items columns (assuming you are using OBIEE). Performances will be affected and the code will be duplicated in many places.Hope that it answers the question.

Displaying the time in the Date fields only when it is available
Is it possible to display the component "hour" of a field of date only when the component "hour" is available? I know that the default behavior of not showing the component "hour" of the date fields can be changed by setting the date format NLS in the preferences to include the time as well. However, what causes the fields without component to appear with zeros. (For example: If nls date format is DD-MON-RRRR HH24:MI:SS, a date with no field component "time" will appear as * 1 January 2008 00:00:00 *). It is a configurable option in Quest SQL Navigator, with 3 options available, that says "(afficher l'heure dans les champs date: a) (never, (b) when available or c) always, who miss me dearly in SQL Developer."

Our model way of notation uses a field of date for one of its criteria. In the event that the date field is populated with a date in the future (as the rating is based on recency) how the lead rating model would deal with it? For more information, the current lead score measures the date as a "in the last (period of time).
In the last x period will always look like in time in the past, so in the case that a contact does not meet the specified criteria, they will not get marked with this particular rule.

How can I automatically populate the date field after only one "digitally signs" a .pdf form? Here's a sample:

Problems while extracting the hours of the Date field

I am facing some problems during extraction of the hours of the date field. Here is an example of my orders table:-
Select * from orders;
Arrival time of Order_NO product name

Earlier, it is stated that the daily number of orders take place in the roll of the order, I used to write a query
arrival_time > = trunc ((sysdate-1), 'DD')
and arrival_time < trunc ((sysdate), 'DD')
The above query gives me yesterday how many orders have been been held.
Now I have the new requirement to report on every 4 hours the number of orders will be held. For example if the current time is 08:00 IST then the query must extraction from 04:00 until 08:00 how many orders took place. The report will take place at 12:00 IST which will give me an order took place from 08:00 until 12:00.
The report will be run every 4 hours per day and generate report of orders taken place for the past 4 hours. I have a programmer who will run this query every hour, but how to understand to get the order at the request of details who arrived for the past 4 hours. I'm not able to do this using trunc.
Can you please help me how to make this happen. I checked "Extract" also, but I am not convinced.

Any plugin filter can use the metadata fields ignored by LR?

Assuming I want to install a filter based on the fields LensID or LensIDNumber, LR cannot help. He simply ignores these fields (and others). Y at - it a plugin which is able to do? I tried AnyFilter but it does not work for these fields.

Unfortunately, any filter does not have the ability to filter fields that are not already available (which includes LensID and LensIDNumber).
However, you can use the Data Explorer plugin for group photos with any visible metadata field to the free utility of Exiftool.

We are in the middle of our integration and try to make calls from Melissa Data of our Eloqua forms. Anyone out there who did or can provide an overview?
I understand that if someone used this service in real time - if a person completes a form and between a postal code invalid - in real-time we ping Melissa Data to know it is a zip code not valid, and the person filling out the form receives a message that is not valid the data. Our territory lead routing depends on ensuring that we correct geographic information if we want the data validated in real time. Thank you!

I could be wrong, but I'm not aware of a Melissa data cloud connector which was built immediately. From what I know, I think that David York (on this thread) may be closest on that. There are other people interested too, can't wait to see it built.

I thought the event output, if you change the this.rawValue to xfa.event.change, you can try to use the calculate... event, which would mean that they get the message earlier.
Anyway they will always be able to cut-and - paste a date if it is in the correct format.

I've created a form that uses the value field text to fill the text of another field. However, if I need to change the text, the second field does not update this change. Instead of reset the form each time, is the Javascript code to update the fields if they have been modified?
For example I Text1 and Text2.
When I type in Hello in Text1 I see Hello in Text2.
Later, if I decide to change to Goodbye Text1, Text2 remains Hello.
The shape of the hoe can recognize this change?

Disable text entry in the Date field
I use APEX 4.2
I created a form with a field Date with and Date to .
I use the format of Date Picker (a new one, not the classic) and set the calendar to display on both (developed and click on icon).
I would limit the field so that the user cannot enter any text - they can only use the Date picker/calendar to select a date.
That would take them the clumsy edits - so I can restrict users so that they cannot enter an incorrect format in the first place.
Is this possible?
