  So I installed Fusion on my Intel iMac and created a virtual machine that uses Windows Vista. My problem is that I need to have two accounts Admin on Mac can use Vista/Fusion.   I've updated my PS - CC to 14.1.2 and now my graphics card is not recognized.  The problem was supposed to have resolved this update.  I have an iMac 27 inch end 2012 with 32 GB memory and 1 TB of hard drive.  My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 512 MB of 660M.   When you start PS - CC after the update, I received a message that my graphics card was not recognized and I need to update the driver.  As you have known, only Apple has updates to the graphics driver.  There is NO update driver on Apple.  Checking my preferences I don't have the ability to Open GL now.  My driver works well with 14.1.1.  I'll try to retreat towards the 14.1.1 if possible.  Any help would be appreciated!

  Here's an update of the above.  Just by chance, I found an interesting solution.  I restarted my computer and then open PS - CC 14.1.2.  I received the same message... PS does not recognize that your graphics card for people with disabilities advanced display options.  Otherword, NO Open GL graphics.  So, I closed PC - CC and rebooted just to see what would happen and... I don't have the error message.  Check the Preferrrence, found my recognized graphics card and I have Open GL.  If for some reason, the first time you open PC - CC 14.1.2 with iMac, your graphics card will not recognize.  Just close and open again and you'll get him back.  Weird!  Adobe, please fix this for us users of iMac!

• Screen sharing - don't ask for password

  I have iMac-A (mac administrator) that accepts connections screen sharing from other computers iMac "workstation" without password.

  iMac-A is signed in with a single AppleID iCloud / iCloud. ([email protected])

• El Capitan and 10 + Mac I have installed so far

  Because I can't find too many reports on bugs that I lived during the installation/use a variety of Mac with El Capitan, I thought it would be a good idea to list the most interesting problems that I have encountered in the process. It is perhaps useful to other users.

  In my work during the day, I am responsible for the well-being of some 30 + Mac/Mac servers and their users. Since we are a prepress company, we need a very stable and predictable, and software environment. We arrived finally with a configuration which should suit our needs at least to come next year.

  Basic installation includes the software operating system, Adobe CreativeCloud, Office2011 and Eizo calibration.

  Since I wanted to know if the Mac are in good condition, I decided to go the long way with each machine, not only to drop an image on the disk and let it run. In doing so, I saw things much clumsy that I'll probably post on my printpraxis.net blog in the coming weeks (in German).

  To make things short - my list:

  1. We use monitors NEC 19 "for pallets in CC especially when using Photoshop on MacPros, white GUI elements on the secondary screen turn Cyan and back to white. Users, whose job involves working a lot with color calibrated, are extremely disturbed by it. We have not yet understood whether it is an Apple oder question to Adobe.
  2. Opening dialog print takes older (about 20 seconds) - including seeing the Rainbow wheel a lot. We will print to a Canon color with an EFI rip laser.
  3. In one case, the contacts address book is removed by the system whenever a contact is changed or a new contact is added. Every time. We seem to have "solved" this problem by deleting all the contacts 2 045 and re-import them.
  4. In one case, Mail fails to connect fully with our Kerio Connect, hide folders, the user has on Kerio and actually removes local folders without apparent reason. It is still not resolved and I'll try to look in this tomorrow. 'Repair' standard procedures did not improve the situation right now.
  5. Software Adobe CC indicates missing fonts - but Linotype Fontexplorer shows their alive. Disable and reenable the fonts "solves" this.

  I would add that during the process of wiping/reset to zero the internal disks and try to get the installer of El Capitan via the AppStore, Apple in some cases refused permission to install El Capitan, although the system is officially supported. I could solve this problem of booting from an external hard drive and installing from there to the internal drive. Interestingly, this seems to be about AppleID Apple user to provide forces.   (1) there are similar reports of brushing causing screen flashes white for users of iMac with 4 K screens. I am a 3D artist in my free time and I read two developers mention OpenCL tools in Mac OS 10.10 and 10.11 must be fixed and both claim that Apple said in July they would solve this, but I've never heard an official response from Apple on this

  (2) connect the printers on IP and no other protocols if you have not already.

  (3) don't know about this one, I am not user

  (4) contact the developer. I used some LaCie spectrometer recommended in 2005, but this story. The calibration is the cocaine of the designer. End users are never satisfied with the results and there is no success with it no matter how much you try.

  New on the Apple Forum, hope it's ok to post this question here and in the forum of the iMac. My question:

  I recently acquired an older iMac Early 2008 (8.1). Currently it has 1 GB of RAM and a HARD drive that is extremely crowded. I just bought a 2x2gb memory kit for it, and decided that I had, I will do a clean full of Snow Leopard and then level installation to El Cap. So I bought a Samsung EVO SSD faithful and a SSD IcyDock Mount for it. I also bought a DVD of Snow Leopard from Apple, since I couldn't find the original. All that from the road, here's my question:

  I want to do an installation clean full of Mac OS X on the SSD, no cloning, no record of the files, nothing. The old HARD drive, as mentioned, is packed with the previous unwanted users. I read through loads of tutorials and whatnot on the web and can not find a concise answer to how to proceed. Some say it just install the SSD drive, format it with disk utility, and then start the DVD (not literally). Some say, create a USB bootable upgrade downloaded OS X .dmg file. And so on.

  Can someone tell me, as a former PC user, new iMac user, what to do in this situation?

  Question side: is it possible to go directly to El Cap instead of go through Snow Leopard to get there?

  -New Snow Leopard DVD

  -new SSD

  -old HDD (installed)

  -many readers of an inch, if necessary

  Make a USB of El Capitan key would be the easiest way to address the issue.

  First, install this RAM upgrade on the iMac, as you will need speed. Once you have done this, start the computer normally, open the app store and download OS X El Capitan from the Appstore, so you can do a flash USB drive out of it.

  Once El Capitan finished download, download DiskMakerX here

  This program will automatically create an El Capitan bootable flash drive that you use to install El Capitan on the computer.

  After the program ends and creates your USB key, turn off the computer, remove the old HDD and throw in the SSD you bought.

  Now that you've done all this, plug the flash drive into the Mac and hold down the ALT key and select the flash drive to boot from the flash drive and install OS X El Capitan on your mac.

  Once he finishes the installation, you're done! You will then be presented the OS X install screen and you're ready to start using your computer!

• Adobe lost CC info registration

  I have deployed adobe CC to a device and the user is working fine for the past year. All of a sudden, he was asked to log in with the admin account of Adobe CC (which I did), but the program still not start.  The only option I have is to start the 30-day trial.  It's just a matter to enter the serial number again or should I create a new package and that push again.  This is a user of iMac OSX 10.9.5 running.  Again, it was working fine until today, now, all CC applications are declining.
