    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite L450 and I've had it for awhile now and it's never happened before, when I turn it on it goes by habit and then comes up with my name and a box for typing me my password, as usual. But when I put my password it says:

The only option I have is to disconnect and when I do it takes back me to the bit of password. If I put the password in wrong, it tells me it s wrong...
Can t do something with it, I tried shutting down, etc. looked through the manual and can't see anything in there no more... :(

  • "The user profile service failed the log - on" problem of Windows XP administrator account

OK, so my mom is unable to log on to his profile on Windows XP Home Edition. She has both the administrator account. When she tries to connect, you will see the above error message. My brother can log into his account without problem.

My mother told me that she had initially gone on ITunes and downloaded 3 things that the program said she needed. When she went to reboot his computer according to the instructions, she received this error message and cannot connect.

She then guest account and was able to remove the 3 programs, but nothing helped. If anyone has any ideas, it would be appreciated. This is the Windows program that is already installed on the computer.

I tried to search in the forums, but it's a little confusing. She got also never all warnings "temporary profile".

    Thank you!

Looks like the user profile is damaged.  To allow for the recovery, you will need to log in with an administrator account.  If your MOM was the only administrator account, try starting mode safe mode (F8 at startup) and log in as user 'administrator '.  The default value is the empty password.  After that, follow the steps in the following article:

  • The user profile service has no log on. User profile cannot be loaded

Windows 7.  I get the message user profile service failed the log on.  User profile cannot be loaded.  I followed the instructions on the link, but it seems not to have worked.  This is the administrator account that gives me the penalty.  Only, I could get by using safe mode.  Help, please! This is a brand new with Windows 7 pre loaded, computer I did hardly anything on this computer to give me a problem like that.

    Thank you!

Since this is a brand new computer, it would be proactive to test at least the hard disk and RAM to make sure they are good. Fleecy material can cause this problem. Just because the computer is new does not mean that the material cannot fail. Indeed, if the material is going to fail, it will usually do fairly quickly or go for years. If any material is bad, assert your warranty immediately. If the material is good, it would also be advisable to ensure that the computer is free of viruses/malware because the infection can also cause the problem.

    http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

Otherwise, this error can usually be fixed by following the steps below. All this requires a certain level of computer skills. You know better and that take the machine to a competent local computer tech (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad place) is the best solution for you.

1 log on to a different user account with administrative privileges. If you neglected to make an account additional administrative steps 2-3. Otherwise, continue to step 4. See also General information on setting up the accounts of users at the end of this post.

2 in Mode safe boot. This, by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. That you will get to the menu on the right where you can use your arrow key to select Mode safe [Enter]. The built-in Administrator account is disabled by default in Windows 7. However, if no other administrative accounts exist on the system it can be activated. If this is the case, you will see an icon for the administrator on the homescreen mode without failure. Login to the administrator.

3 If you don't see the icon for the administrator mode safe account, then the built-in Administrator account is always disabled so you will need to work more. If you have a Windows 7 DVD installation (not a recovery DVDs), you can start the system with it. Select the default language, then select "repair your computer". Then select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes [Enter]

[Note: do not enter the brackets!]

If you do not have an installation DVD (only have a recovery disk), the computer mftr. may have given you the option to repair the system Windows 7 (not a system recovery!) in the menu diagnosis. This menu of diagnosis is the same one where you can choose Safe Mode.  Or you can make a bootable DVD of Windows 7 repair of the file on this link:

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2009/Windows-7-system-repair-discs/

Note: All the Neosmart recovery disk downloads are torrent files. There is a good explanation of the torrent on the site Web of Neosmart files. You will need a torrent as muTorrent client to get the files. Torrent client will download the .iso file with which to create the bootable DVD. If you create the bootable DVD in an older operating system, you need third-party burning like Nero, Roxio or free ImgBurn software to burn the .iso image image file, not in the form of data. Windows 7 can burn the .isos natively.

Now, remove the rescue DVD you made, restart windows system and log into the built-in Administrator account, you enabled.

    4. try a system restore to when things worked. If you can log in to your user account, you are finished. Otherwise, continue to step 5.

    5. the critical files are under % systemdrive%\users\user-account\ntuser. The ntuser.dat file is actually a registry hive. Run Regedit high and select HKEY_USERS and "load hive" in the menu. Now, go to:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

There is a line for each profile. If a profile is bad, check:

    (a) that the name of the key does not stop in ".bak" (remove .bak If it)
    (b) that the RefCount value is 0 (change it if it is different)
    (c) that the State value is 0 (change if different)

Make the necessary changes, close Regedit and try to connect as this user.

    6. If that doesn't solve your profile, it is corrupt. When you do that, you should make a new Standard user account and copy your data to it. Do not delete the old account until you have recovered data you need!

Once everything works, go to the additional administrative account you will be made by the suggestions below and disable the administrator account integrated yet for security reasons:

Start Orb > Search box > type: cmd
When cmd appears in the above results, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator" [OK]. Now, you will get the command prompt. At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / active: No. [Enter]

    Exit the command prompt.

General recommendations for creating users in Windows 7

You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. Like XP, Vista and all the other modern operating systems, Windows 7 is a multi-user system with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

In particular, you do not want account only one user with administrator privileges in Windows 7 because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult. It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but it can be more work you want to do. Better not to put you in a bad situation at first.

The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. As a user Standard is recommended for security reasons and will help protect your computer against infections. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

If you want to go directly to the desktop and ignore the Welcome screen with the icons of the user accounts, you can do this:

Start Orb > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).

  • Unable to get the administrator account, receive the error such as the user profile service failed logon. User profile could not be loaded. "

Original title: "the user profile service has no logon. User profile could not be loaded"and admin password will not work

I had this problem came several times before but it always correct itself without any intervention from myself. Now, even after restarting the computer several times I can not directly connect to my main Administrator profile. I have another profile without administrative privileges already done so I could at least use my computer, but only with limited permissions. When I try to do something to solve the problem, as the registry change, I'm prompted to enter the administrator password. I enter the password and the alert box goes, and nothing happens. Enter the password seems doing nothing, except the aknowledge the password is correct (it warns me when I entered a wrong password so I know it's no doubt receiving data). DOoes anyone know how to fix this? The computer works relatively well recently and have no idea of what decoration could have happened to cause such a mistake that bothers.

    Mr President.
I use a real operating system Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 with my laptop Lenovo Y430. I have recently updated to SP1 to SP2 Windows Update online. last week when I tried to log in one of my user accounts, the above-mentioned error popped up on my screen. on further verification, I found that the "user account" does not exist in the c:\user\(account name folder). I could not find the same in the registry editor "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList".

I've traveled all your forums to get help, including http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215. even installed the "Microsoft Fixit" given on the same page, but it did not help. I even tried to restore my system to an earlier point.

In addition, when I tried to stop/restart the "user profile Service", the same mistake invited each time. but when I stopped/restarted the "user profile Service" after the removal of the user of the control Panel\User account account, the system didn't invite me with the error. and then; even after the service is restarted, and then creating a new user, I was unable to login with this user account.

now I find myself with a single administrator account to work with
