Using a matrix with variables in it.

Hi all, I'm new on my HP 50 g so it can be easier that I am make it look like.

I'm writing an equation for my strength of class material. The equation is the following:

K = ((E*A)/L) * [C ^ C * S 2 - C ^ 2 - C * S]
[C * S S ^ 2 - C * S S ^ 2]

[- C ^ 2 - C * S C ^ C * S 2]

[-C * S S ^ C * S 2 S ^ 2]

The matrix is a 4 x 4. I need to be able to assign values to E, A, L and the largest C & S. So basically, I just need a scalar multiplied by a matrix. I can't find a way to make it work.

Anyone would be able to help out me?

I use RPN and CAS mode only has verified digital mode. I am really new to the HP 50 g but I can pass anything as longa s we can make this work!

Thank you!

If you want to multiply many different measurers to the matrix,

or replace it with many different values of S, C, E, A, L, the best way is the following

store the original matrix (again, in this example, only using 2 lines of the matrix)

[[' C ^ 2 ' * IT '-C ^ 2' '-(S*C)']]
[[THE OF * c ^ 2' '-(S*C)' '-(S^2)']]

"MAT".

STO

the matrix is now stored in a variable called MAST

now store the meter

' E * A/L '.

"SCAL".

    Hello again!

    I found the solution:

    Even when it is not possible to use a variable in the context menu, it is possible to put a global string in the recorder manually. I put "${Unit_Ch1}" on the ground for the unit, and it worked.

  • Insert text in a matrix with numberic values

    I have a matrix that I write numberic decimal values but I would like to know if there is a way I can also write text in the same matrix. Currently, I have a 10 x 6 Matrix which contains numberic values (data), but I would add a text column to the matrix. I use the matrix to display data.

    If reaaly you need a data type of matrix for mathematics you will make, it could make more sense to have an array of distinct strings for the headers of lines.  I used the classic Simple string for the elements of the array. Of course your reveal hide the label as string array and display the Index.

    Also, simply create an array of numeric values by autoindexing 2D and then use the table for primitive matrix outside the loop.  It will be much more effective than the use of Insert in the table and a local variable.

  • Using DAQ Assistant with a system remotely

    I'm new to LabVIEW and National Instruments hardware and I am trying to use an instrument with LabVIEW using the DAQ Assistant. I use a PC with Windows Vista and I am connected via a network to a PXI-8108 controller in a PXI-1050 chasiss chassis. The instrument is just a thermocouple which I use to become familiar with everything. The thermocouple is connected and the connection SCB-68 block which is connected to a PXI-6221 multifunction data acquisition in the chassis. I am able to create a task in MAX under remote system and everything seems to work. What I want to do is to use this instrument in LabVIEW, and it seems that for this I need to use the DAQ Assistant, but when I do it says no supported device is found. I wonder if there is a way to get LabVIEW lean on the remote system to see the acquisition of data and the thermocouple.

    All advice is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hi all

    Ben is correct.  RDA is no longer supported in DAQmx.  We have another way to use DAQmx with a remote system.  It is use DAQmx with an OPC server or simply by shared network variables.  There is a section of the base of knowledge here that should help you get started.  You should also take a look at the developer section area here.  The basic idea is that you can use a variable shared within labVIEW that is bound to a variable shared on your networked machine.  In this way, you can write and read values from a task DAQmx.  Look at the instructions in the above two items and let me know if you have any questions.

    Kind regards

  • Problem with variables not excluding search terms not

    People,

    I'm having a problem with variables, when used in topic titles.

    We produce two distinct versions of a webhelp. The text is almost exactly the same, but the product has a different name in each version. In one version, he is called FLOW; in another, it is called Service generator. We use the user-defined variables to control which name is used to identify the product, when we generate the webhelp.

    So, I have (for example), a subject that begins with the heading:

    Construction of a FLOW script

    where the text occupied by 'FLOW' is provided by a variable with two values - FLOW and Service constructor.

    So when I generate the generator using the web Service version, I put Robohelp using the Service Builder variable defined, and all contained text and the table of positions generate fine; FLOW is nowhere to be seen.

    But when I type "FLOW" in the search box, the system identifies each of the three subjects that are built as in the example above, with a topic title that contains the variable used to set the name of the product. In addition, it displays in the search results using STREAM in the title of the topic, not Service Builder (but when I open the topic, the text in the header is rendered correctly).

    In addition, the system uses the "FLOW" and not "Service Builder" in the headings found by the search, regardless of what research the term is used.

    Everyone comes through this? Nobody knows how to solve this problem, please?

    Thanks in advance,

    NA.

    What version of RoboHelp do you use?

    I use the 2015 Release version. It used to be version 11.

    In the Release version of 2015, my topic Properties dialog box looks like this:

    I think that version 11 may have introduced the possibility of having a variable in the title of the topic. If your version is older and does not seem to offer a way through the dialogue box to deal with this, I was wondering if you could fudge by manipulating the code manually. For example, I see that when I use a variable in a topic title, I end up with this:

    So I was wondering if you could add just in the bit that reads:

    < InsertVariableNameHere >

    Of course, you want to replace the text InsertVariableNameHere with the actual name of your variable.

    It can fail miserably because the process of generation of RoboHelp doesn't know how to cope. But in fact, it might work! You won't know until you try.

    And even if it fails, I may be able to offer another approach that you will overcome the problem.

    See you soon... Rick

  • How to run execute immediate with variables

    Hi friends,
    How to run execute immediate with variables in v_stmt below?
    I don't know how to declare value I have here.
    Set serveroutput on;
    DECLARE
       i        VARCHAR (20);
       v_stmt   VARCHAR2 (100);

       CURSOR c
       IS
          SELECT sqlid FROM temp1;

    BEGIN
       OPEN c;

       LOOP
          FETCH c INTO i;
          EXIT WHEN c%NOTFOUND;
          DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line (i);
          v_stmt := 'select * from table(dbms_xplan.display_cursor('&i',null))'
          execute immediate v_stmt;
       END LOOP;

       CLOSE c;
    END;
    /
    Regds,
    Kunwar.

    You must first use a variable binding (named ': v' in the SQL statement in my example):

    set serveroutput on;
    DECLARE
       i        VARCHAR (20);
       v_stmt   VARCHAR2 (100);

       CURSOR c
       IS
           -- modified for a quick test
          SELECT sql_id FROM v$sql where child_number > 2;

    BEGIN
       OPEN c;

       LOOP
          FETCH c INTO i;
          EXIT WHEN c%NOTFOUND;
          DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line (i);
          v_stmt := 'select * from table(dbms_xplan.display_cursor(:v,null))';
          execute immediate v_stmt using i;
       END LOOP;

       CLOSE c;
    END;
    /

    However because your SELECT statement returns multiple lines, you need to adapt your code to process all rows returned (as already suggested in first response to your message).

    Instead of using the PL/SQL, I recommend you to generate a SQL file using only SQL, and then run the generated SQL file.
    For example:

    spool edx.sql
    set serveroutput on
    declare
    v_stmt varchar2(100);
    v_q char(1):='''';
    begin
    dbms_output.put_line('spool edx.log');
    for s in (select sql_id from v$sql where child_number >2)
     loop
      dbms_output.put_line('select * from table(dbms_xplan.display_cursor(' || v_q || s.sql_id || v_q || ',null));');
     end loop;
     dbms_output.put_line('exit');
    end;
    /
    spool of

    This generates a file similar to:

    spool edx.log
    select * from table(dbms_xplan.display_cursor('5rygsj4dbw6jt',null));
    select * from table(dbms_xplan.display_cursor('5rygsj4dbw6jt',null));

    I need a clear and simple explanation for example...: P

    No real reason, you can do it if you want. But you don't have to - I certainly didn't, and I rarely see code it does.

    You should take the time to find a way to find information. For example, I just typed 'java variable dollar' in google and ended up with this as the first shot:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/javase/tutorial/Java/nutsandbolts/variables.html

    I quote:

    "In addition, the character dollar sign, by convention, is never used at all."

  • Error of closure with variable

    Dear all,

    Please help me. I want to loop recording. I have two diet. First of all, I do without variable and no mistake. Second, I do with variable and error occurs. below my syntax:

    First of all:
    ------
    declare
    x varchar (50);
    Start
    -x: = 'choose the double dummy;
    C1 in loop (double dummy selection)
    dbms_output.put_line (C1. Dummy);
    end loop;
    end;

    result:
    -------
    X

    --------
    Second:
    declare
    x varchar (50);
    Start
    x: = 'choose the double dummy;
    C1 (looping x)
    dbms_output.put_line (C1. Dummy);
    end loop;
    end;

    result:
    -------
    Encountered the symbol "LOOP" when expected...

    If you want to use a dynamic SQL statement, you would need something like

    SQL> ed
    Wrote file afiedt.buf

      1  declare
      2    l_cursor sys_refcursor;
      3    l_sql_stmt varchar2(100);
      4    l_dummy    varchar2(1);
      5  begin
      6    l_sql_stmt := 'select dummy from dual';
      7    open l_cursor for l_sql_stmt;
      8    loop
      9      fetch l_cursor into l_dummy;
     10      exit when l_cursor%notfound;
     11      dbms_output.put_line( l_dummy );
     12    end loop;
     13    close l_cursor;

    • Sync with iTunes on a Mac or a PC requires:

    My daughter is running Lion on his MacBook Pro and was synchronize its iOS iOS 9.3.5 devices. The requirements for iOS 9 call for Cougar 10.8.5. It will never update via iTunes - always on WiFi - and I think that's how she got away with it. I don't know if it will work this time with iOS 10.

    Try to add a page to a pages document. It worked until now but just finished page 13 with text and photos and cannot add another page, using macbook pro with El Capitan and the most recent version of the Pages.

    You have placed your beam to insert at the end of your text on page 13 and then apply Insert menu: Page Break? In the v5.6.2, Pages I just add a new page to a section of four pages to this approach.

    I think you mean that the Display Mode target and any connection to the screen will have to pass by the graphics card. Whereas if you replace the bad graphics card, don't.

    I got my MacBook mid-2010 (2.4 GHz, 4 GB RAM, OS X El Capitan) for 2 years.

    It splits into two somewhere within 2 years.

    The MacBook was still usable, but it had to be on a desk. The screen was completely separate from the base. It still worked.

    I woke up a few days ago to find that someone had cut the display cable holding the MacBook set and turn on the screen.

    I bought an early-2011 13 "MacBook Pro to replace the dead MacBook. (Yes, I buy old Mac because the news is so expensive).

    Old Mac has been saved semi regularly, so I have an old backup to use for the new Mac. The problem is that just before the death of the former Mac, I downloaded a bunch of stuff that has not been saved. I really want the files that have not been backed up on my new MBP.

    Can I use Migration Wizard with an Ethernet cable and transfer of data from one, or Migration Assistant must be running on old Mac as well?

    I tried to connect (I'm sure that the computer is still running, it doesn't simply have a display) on the old Mac, plug the backup drive and I hope to do a backup hourly, but Time Machine did not only.

    Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

    If you use Ethernet or a wireless network to transfer data, Yes. If you can not download the files and file-sharing has not been activated on the old Mac, you must either get fixed display or put its internal drive in a closed Chamber.
