  I created a matrix report, enabled the conditional formatting. The only problem I have right now is to go to a link in the report.

  I use 3 text elements Apex - P1_ID, P1_NAME and P1_URL.

  I use also 3 dynamic actions

  1. DEFINE NAME - will set the P1_NAME field with the value clicked in the report.

  2 SET ID & URL - define the fields P1_ID and P1_URL of the DB using the P1_NAME field.

  3-pop-up-appears the P1_URL using javascript.

  Problem statement:

  The pop up page is a blank page, although I can see that the value for the P1_URL field is defined using dynamic measurements.

  Could someone please take a look at this example and help me with the same.

• Several plugins using the same JS file dynamic action

  I created two plugins for dynamic action, say Plugin1 and Plugin2. These two plugins are most of the time used together, so to keep things simple and ease of maintenance that all the JS need to the code specific to each plugin as well as of the common code is in a single file, for example plugins.js. So I download the same JS file to each plugin.
  
  In the generated page, using two plugins the JS file is loaded twice, as planned. Of course, at Apex, they are two different files even if their content is exactly the same.
  
  This is not ideal for me. What is the approach suggested in this case? Always keep the JS separate files for each plugin? And on any common code plugins share, duplicate in each JS file?

  Hi Luis,.

  apex_javascript.add_library currently does not allow to specify p_key as for example apex_javascript.add_on_load_code is. It automatically calculates the value of 'key' based on the directory and name. I'll add an enhancement request to allow to override this default that will allow both plug-ins use the same 'key' to just load the file once.

• Using the "show" with a button action

  I have 2 buttons on a slide, each game to view an image when you click on it.

  However, I want to be able to switch between them at will and show the corresponding image.

  Right now, the image appears only the first time I click and what image was seen the last remnants on the screen.

• Log off of Windows XP, used to take just a 'start' > action 'disconnect '. Now, it takes 2 tries. What could be the cause?

  I had my Windows XP system since late 2004.  Started by Microsoft Suite Office 2003 and were updated on the way to the 2007 Office Suite.  Several months ago, I started having trouble get demand to 'leave' to work properly.  Previously it took 1 try (start > disconnect) to return me to the real stop screen.  Now on the first try, the "flutter" desktop icons, but the screen does not recognize the request.  TThen I need to redo the request, then it will go to the closing of the screen.  An update of Microsoft somewhere along the way could cause this?  I worry, someone could have gained you will join somehow and's ' to watch' my activities.  I have Norton 360 V5 security.

  If it's a Microsoft update that causes the problem, people around the world who have installed Microsoft updates would scream their heads off, and they are not.

  Have you run your system with completely disabled or uninstalled Norton completely (using the removal tool, which you can download) to see if it is indeed Norton?  You can always reinstall Norton again, but I think that most of the aid here will tell you that sometimes Norton can cause particular problems.  I would ditch it at least temporarily out of the equation so that you don't ask about it.

  If you start using safe, Norton should not charge anything, so your system behaves in Mode safe?

  And all just because Norton says that your system is clean, does not mean that it is clean.  It simply means that Norton doesn't find anything he knows.

  No single antivirus scanner seems to know everything, so it is prudent to have more than one good AV weapon in your arsenal... and sometimes new virus definitions come out several times a day (for some AV products).  Norton knows everything, I assure you.

  Here are some scanners free good reputation than circles run around Norton.  I would consider at least let take a look at your system and you can uninstall them if that is your desire.

  Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:

  I have a PDF template with buttons and form fields. One requirement is that when a key is pressed, I want to connect to an Oracle database to change the data of the table inside the DB.

  Assuming you are using Acrobat (or reader) XI or newer, it is no longer possible.

  There used to be a way to connect to a PDF file using a script and ADBC, a DB defined locally, but Adobe removed in favour of this option progressively and now it is completely obsolete.

  The only type of PDF files that can still do are those created using LiveCycle Designer.

• Printing using javascript watermark paper.

  I tried nRotate in there, but it did not work.  Can some helpful soul point me in the right direction.

  The name of the parameter is "nRotation", not "nRotate"... Set it to the

  the number of degrees that you want to rotate the text and it should work.

  To this I added a button id in the template button and by calling the ID number that is the DOM object in dynamic action.
  Is it possible that I can call the Id button dynamically in dynamic action?

  Sorry to interrupt, but I just wanted to report that hard-code the ID of the button as it will cause problems you are application 4.1, because of some behaviors changed between 4.0 and 4.1. I blogged about it here:

  There are a few ways around this, but I think that probably the simplest here would be to remove the id = "" #BUTTON_ID # "in your template button, ensuring you have the placeholder #BUTTON_ATTRIBUTES # in your model, then set a custom ID (for example id = 'submit_button') directly in the attributes of your button." You can then simply view this ID in your DA "DOM object" and it should work in 4.0 and 4.1.

  Apart from that, and as says VANJ, your DA looks good and you should just be able to define all the measures 'True' you want, which fire when the button is clicked.

  I have a form with a button "submit" as usual. Do I want to do, on the presentation, to include a page that contains the variable in a list box that will become a session variable. I need to open on the same page as opposed to a separate page. Is there a way I can set the form action to include this file in the form?   The form is in itself?  In other words, where is the script that will process the form data?

  If that's the page itself, then you can certainly have this script to set the value of a variable and test it in the form, the variable to see if it is set - if it is, then include the file you want.  In other words:

  PAGE

  If the form is submitted then the SUBMIT value = true

  ...

  ...

  If SUBMIT = true then include file
