  Hi - I am trying to develop a course of Captivate 4 and wish I could on slide enter advanced use of actions to check the value of a user variable, and if the variable is equal to x then set the value of the question (correct) 1. Is there a system variable, that I can use to define?

  Unfortunately, Captivate is not currently a way to manipulate SCORM score via advanced Actions and the user or System Variables.

  So that you could have OnSlideEnter check and set the value of a variable, you don't have a way to use this information to force sending a question slide.

  I bought 14 items in a box with a serial number of 18 digits, a number nine PN, five code a lot of numbers and a bar code with 12 numbers beneath him. The two discs in the box of each has a code on a sticker eight-digit.

  When I try to do an installation, after accepting the license, it gives me six boxes and asks me to put the serial number in these areas.  None of the numbers provided by Adobe seem to fit or work.  I tried the cat, and for 30 minutes, the agent told me to 'take a screenshot of the box', so he could consider it.  But he was unable to tell me how I had to get a screenshot of something not in my computer.  He will have to do a print screen of the computer.  He doesn't seem to understand this.   I finally took a picture with my iPhone, it loads on my desktop and I tried to "add" it to the cat.  I got a message saying that he had been transferred to Adobe.  But he said that he does not understand.  He also insisted that I must put the account number of chat on the screenshot, yet once he could not explain how to do this.  You click Add, boring down into the file, and then click ok.  No place to type in numbers.  Finally, I gave up.

  Should not be this hard load a program I bought, which came on a drive.  Or should it be difficult to reach the seller to find out what the problem is.  But I can't find any support phone for items.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Or I just go back to the store?

  I have a form and I'm trying to use dynamic Action to process the form values. I don't know how to get the length of the value of a textfield and compare to what I said in the values
  
  The order of the day called P6_USERNAME which can be more than 10 characters long.
  
  So I tried to create a dynamic Action with the following parameters in the region when .
  
  EVENT: Press button
  SELECTION TYPE: jQuery Selector
  jQuery SELECTOR: $("P6_USERNAME").val () .length
  CONDITION: above
  VALUE: 10
  
  Of ACTION GENUINE, I had a view only showing a message "you have exceeded the limit.
  
  The above didn't work and tried to work it around with:

  It is not necessary to use a validation/dynamic action. Set the maximum width for the element attribute and the browser will prevent users to enter values longer than that.

  I don't think that there is a solution out-of-the-box for it. However, it seems that the Apex 4 correct uses of the elements of the label HTML for labels. So you can use a jQuery selector that is simple to get and manipulate the tag of an element.

  Something like this:

  $('label[for="P1_CUSTOMER_NAME"]').html ("new label");

  Note that there is sometimes a scope nested within the tag tag.

  You can use a type of dynamic action "run the javascript" to do.

  The idea is that you attach audio to an object that can be invisible to the user (I explained I have a special highlight for this purpose style) and you show the object action advanced, which means that when the audio will start playing. You probably also will have to stop audio (to avoid the two clips play together) when the user clicks on another tab, in which case he has not done. So if you have 3 tabs, you have 3 audio objects and with advanced actions always show you an audio object and hide the other 2.

• Reset the page number for the new RTF (not group data) section

  I am working on a set of maritime documents - Pick and Pack Slip briefs. RTF model has 2 sections for the same group of data (delivery). The waybill is a customer oriented document and sheet of choice is used in the warehouse to fulfill the order. The intention is to print the slip to pick and pack slip together, while the selector may include the packing slip in the package that is shipped. I want that each air waybill to start its page number to 1, but it always starts at the current page number - i.e. If the pick slip is 2 pages long, the leaf pack starts at 3. I tried to use the page number of the RTF/MS Word formatting, but it doesn't seem to work? Is there a way to reset the page number for a new RTF section?
  
  Can I store the current page number in a variable and use a formula to reset the page number for the waybill?

• Is it possible to exclude the line while using common actions of CP8?

  I have a set of slides in custom issue created by using checkbox and radio button widgets. In this regard, the number of options and good answers will vary. For example, Q1 has 5 options, of which 3 are good answers. T2 has 5 options, of which 2 are correct. T3 has 4 options, of which 2 are correct.

  I created the following adv. small action Q1 and saved under the common name of action:

  If

  var_C1 is equal to "Correct1".

  var_C2 is equal to 'Correct2.

  var_C3 is equal to "Correct3".

  var_W1 is equal to var_null

  var_W2 is equal to var_null

  then

  Increment Score1 by 10

  It was good for Q1 and Q2 as a shared action. When I tried to use it to Q3 where I had only 4 options to choose, CP did not allow me to exclude one of the variables.

  What Miss me? Or am I trying to achieve the impossible?

  If you have several questions with different combinations of correct / incorrect, I would create several shared actions. You can use the template feature to change a shared action and save it as a new shared action. The hard part, it's that you still have to re-enter all the descriptions. Something like:

  MCQ1A5 is a matter of QCM with 5 responses and 1 OK

  MCQ3C2W is a multiple CHOICE question with 3 correct and 2 wrong answers (as in your example)

  The workflow on the entry I described can be used to ensure that an existing shared action that had more answers than in the present question is still usable (if it is an exceptional situation). Two examples in order to use the MCQ3C2W for a question 4 answers:

  1. If the question has 3 good and bad response, use this action to enter: assign v_W2 with v_null
  2. If the question has 2 good and 2 wrong answers, use the action on enter: assign v_C3 with 'Correct3' and be sure to enter the same literal as parameter, do small :-)
