Using Audition for record VO

I am trying to find information about the hardware that may be required to use hearing to record voice over the stories that I can use in video editing. I'm taking a video position and try to update their capabilities of editing with Adobe Creative Cloud applications. They currently have a small audio studio which is used for solo voice and using an older version of Pro Tools to record and edit audio. The system is an AVID M - Box to convert the signal from the microphone in digital form in line with Pro Tools. I would like to get rid of Pro Tools and use Audion for all my audio, recording and editing. I'm assuming that i would still need a type converter for power input microphone computer on which I am hearing running on. This same M - Box can be used for this or will it get a different piece of hardware? If Yes, what and where? Thank you.

Hi Dan,.

Usually MBOX devices works perfectly in hearing and recording a voiceover certainly doesn't tax its resources.  You don't mention if it is a PC or Windows system, but the steps are similar - make sure that the complete audio drivers are installed for the operating system, hearing of launch and choose MBOX as a default peripheral of entry and exit in the Audio hardware preferences section.

I would like to talk more about your experience and your issues with switching.  Please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected] if you have any additional questions.

Thank you

You may need to reset your preferences of hearing files stored in C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Audition\5.0. If you rename this folder in 5.0.bak that hearing won't find it when you open the next time if it will recreate a new settings with the default settings folder. See if hearing then works as expected.

  • Audition 3 recording only right entrance in Edit Mode

Hi people - I'm just dealing with the hearing and have fallen at the first hurdle (or almost). I'm recording old tapes in Audition for scanning.

As I don't want a multitrack, I use the setting of the "Edit" mode for the display of his big beautiful specturm.

The twin meters, I noticed that the track of L and R behave exactly the same. After some tests, I discovered that it records only the runway right but put that audio HR on the right tracks AND left the record it creates. This ONLY happens in "Edit" mode. Multitrack, everything behaves as it should. I've probably missed something obvious, but any help is very appreciated.

    Thanks - Martin

According to what the audio hardware that you use at the entrance to the audio in Audition, you will probably need to verify that you have configured for lack of input in the Audio hardware installation. If you have options that say something like 01 M it will only use a mono. Look for strings that have 01 s etc. where the S means stereo.

  • Help - arm for record?

    I use Adobe Audition 3.0

I have implemented some mp3 tracks using multi track Viewer, as a trailer.

I want to record and save this, but there seems to be a problem that when I click on the record button it immediately says "at least a track must be armed for recording". I then look at each track where it says 'R' in small, and when I move the mouse, he says "arm for record." However, I can't click here because it is gray.

What should I do? How can I burn this as trailer, I don't want to use the microphone to record my voice, I want to just this trailer to be saved in MP3 format, so you can go on the disc. The last time I did the trailer was on Apple's Garageband and I wanted to save to save the final version and was OK. I haven't used micro because I did not need to use the voice.

Please help me, I would be grateful.

I could be wrong, but I think you're talking about mixing multitrack files in a single stereo file.

To do this, click on edit in the menu and final mix, all stereo tracks.

  • Can arm for record

    Hi all

I use Audition 2.0 for a while now, and it has been generally smoothly until recently.  He always ignored when I was recording, but I attributed this to my sound card, so I lived with her.  But last night after that I messed around with the edit-> Audio Hardware Setup, I could not arm to record more.  Anytime I tried to press the arm for record button, nothing happens.  It remains Gray and never turns red.  The thing is, this happens only in a project.  If I open a new session or old log, I can arm themselves for registration.

But I don't want to open a new session, because I've worked on this session for some time.

I searched on the net, and surprisingly, I have not found someone with the same problem.  Is there someone who could not arm for record here?

    Thank you

On each track, in the input box (right pointing arrow) you see your selected entry named?  For example, mine says now "[s] Microphone" (stereo recording on built at the microphone".

  • Re: IK-WB70A camera for recording?

    Hello

I'm looking for camera, that I can use for recoding. I also need remote control via RTSP.
IK-WB70A could be used for this?

I can start recording using RTSP (for example, format MPEG) and butted it and get file from it? Is it big enough to store 2-3 minutes?

    Thank you.

    Hello

To be honest I have never heard of this camera and I think that this has nothing to do with Toshiba... Isn t it? ;)

So just ask production of this device for more details. They should be answering this question.

How to ensure that my computer has microphones and then use them for talking to Cortana?

    Hi Walter,

    Please start by http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/cortana-privacy-faq

Also, try to review this tutorial: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4026-cortana-turn-off-windows-10-a.html

They should help you get started.  Problems specific to the micro (existence, activation, volume,...) will be addressed (more than the troubleshooting steps if Cortana doesn't) that you go through the above; However, a "one-stop-shop" for microphones & recognition recording & speech covering all peripheral aspects are versatile control panel page (see the path in the blue header at the top of the screenshot pictured below for W10Pro 11102).

  • Unable to activate the track for recording?

The other day, I went from a PC to an iMac. When I try to record a voiceover in Premiere Pro, it only allows me to activate my track for recording. In fact, I can't even click the button. I use a Blue Snowball USB microphone. Here are the screenshots of my settings for inputs and outputs. I read so many posts on the forum and articles related to it, have changed a few things, but have had no success. I've never had this problem on my PC, so it's mind-boggling. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I'm sure that there is something that I completely forget, but I'm stumped. Thank you so much in advance!

Just to clarify - your only way out is to not be able to activate the recording of tracks?

Can you check they type of audio track, you try to save on matches of the microphone (mono mic - mono track)

If not, go in the menu sequence > add tracks and add a single track:

and see if the voice on the recording.

You can try with scriptlistener to record the code. Change to the last line of the NO to ALL dialog boxes, so that the dialog - if you wish. There are two places in the code to save the files: one where is actually saved the file, and the other where the default value is file. I have seen it changed something with it. So, you can simply use the first listing of a path in the code below.

  • Why can't I activate an audio track for recording? (It won't let me)

I want to record VO but PP will not let me...

On Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite in system preferences:

    • Audio input is set to C - Media USB Headphone Set (a mic... Alesis usb works fine for VO in Final Cut Pro 7)

    • Output is set to the headphone output port

In Premiere Pro CC Audio hardware preferences:

    • ASIO hardware is set to 'default input/output system'

    • I also tried "C - Media USB Headphone Set but, also, it does not work.

    • With the 'system by default i/o' selected, matching output is set to "Adobe Desktop Audio" (only option) and shows:

    • "Output integrated: headset 1.

    • "Output integrated: helmet 2.

    • "C - Media USB Headphone Set: left front.

    • "C - Media USB Headphone Set: right front.

all four of them have a few icons square to the right.

In order to record the original Version, I first need to "enable track for recording" in the mixer Audio Track. There is no inside or outside points in my calendar and tracks are not locked or solo wouldn't or anything. So why can't just select the audio track I want to use to record the VO? I click on it but there is no answer. I just want to know why this software is not what it was designed to do.

The track you want to record on must be of the same type as your microphone source - a mono microphone needs a mono track, a stereo microphone needs a stereo track. The track will not enable recording if the source is not appropriate.

  • I activated my microphone in the settings but there is no button "Enable track for recording.

I use a Mono track, there is no button "Enable track for recording. Just cut track, solo track and write keyframes.

Yes, why not take a look at EverWeb.  It has been designed to be very like iWeb, but with everything you wanted iWeb joined, as a form of contact, drop-down menus etc and much more.

The layout is very similar to iWeb, and it was deliberately designed to be - have a look here EverWeb.

  • the iPhone screen is not responding and only works for short periods of time when I use siri for an indefinite period.

Then my phone 3 days ago started having a screen is unresponsive. I just found someone else who has the same problems as me. My screen is white and gray, flickering vertical lines at the top of my screen, sometimes extending to the bottom of the screen. My iPhone 6 s more screen shows only these lines when I use Siri for what it is, which is a little strange. To make things even more bizarre my screen becomes sensitive occasionally, but only when I'm talking about Siri for an indefinite period. One of the things I had in common with a question that someone asked who had similar problems that me was that, when these lines flickering, vertical, white and gray, the iPhone will eventually type things randomly on its own. Such as random apps or opening of the things randomly without my intervention. A unfortunate thing is that when this happens it selects things like that to end a call or facetime. I already know that the cost is $329 remedy since its considered as "other" in the apple repair options and I am also out of warranty, so I wanted to know if there is any other explanation for this. It made my phone very difficult to use these days now...

Im going to guess that your phone is actually a 6 + and not a s 6 +, which means that your phone is suffering from simple plu epidemic of iPhones of all time - to the epidemic ic touch.  It is unrelated to Siri and tricks of the 'home', the lack of contact button that gets worse with time and flashing bars gray is the presentation of the default signature.  It's a failure level Council of integrated circuit chips that control touch and it is a design flaw in the jury of 6 + that Apple does not recognize.  You can send for microsoldering of the Board of Directors to resolve the underlying anomaly for half of the cost of your options at Apple--assuming that you are not interested in protecting your out of warranty at Apple options.
