  It is not possible to add pictures using the In-browser editing feature in Business catalyst. You can only replace images.

• Export to HTML - form dilemma - should I use Business Catalyst?

  So, I'll try to describe the problem I have. I've seen a lot of discussion about the forms in previous versions of Muse. I use the CC 2015 version.

  Business catalyst provides a large number of settings for the forms you create in Muse. Muse has provided two basic forms in the widget library: preliminary and detailed contact form. When I'm in British Colombia, it gives me the possibility of creating an email autoresponder, etc. But when I export the website in HTML and drop it on a FTP client, none of these settings, I did on the side BC works not at all. This is still just the work of master.

  Should I wait? I really just thought that before Jesus Christ is a way to test my site and also give my client a test drive before they approve and I put the HTML code. But it seems that BC is pushing to host the site on their servers, etc. I hope there is a simple solution to this.

  The short answer is Yes, you could create a market of fundraising.  The most complete answer depends on your definition of a "Web App" and about specific features you are wanting to deliver Web application.  If you are thinking about programming custom php server-side, then, no, this isn't what BC Web Apps. Wikipedia defines a web application like any application written in a language of browser support which relies on the browser for rendering. Applications Web BC meets this definition. "The best definition in my opinion is that a web"site"is defined by its content, all in a web"app"is defined by its interaction with the user. WebApps BC framework can be used for the delivery of content and interaction with the user therefore also integrates with this definition.

  To be clear, "WebApps" in British Colombia is not for coding web applications customized to measure in the broad sense.  In fact, you do not have to do any coding at all (although having knowledge of html/css & javascript will significantly expand what you can do). Colombia-British 'Web-Apps' is a relatively basic set of configurable fields and the tools used to collect and present data.  Its main purpose is to publish "lists". i.e. the items list on which you click to display a details page.  This may not seem particularly high-tech, and it's not. But if you think about it, most of the interactive web applications, a very simple to very advanced (for example Articles; Image galleries; eCommerce, real estate ads; Labour markets; Auction sites; Business directories; Search engines) are all built around this fundamental problem. that is, they present a list of items that are related to a detail page.

  To this end, BC WebApps allows you to define a data set using all types of field (for example, text string, radio buttons, checkboxes, drop-down lists, text box, image path, links, etc.) allows the collect and publish the data however you want displayed in your list views and view detail (more view editing for content generated visitor).  Of course there are limits to what we can do. But there are a lot of innovative workarounds for each limitation. Understanding of the parameters allows a very wide range of possibilities to achieve remarkable results for your customers.  WebApp capabilities are range from the Colombia-British, wide range of features such as Member areas secure, e-commerce functions, lists of campaign etc.

  To return to your original question... "Could you build a web fundraising custom application market in British Colombia?   Yes!  You may allow visitors to the join (members of the safe zone) and then present a list (WebApp point) which is published on the site. Other visitors can view this item in the list and click to view the Details page. They can then choose any number of such further actions as defined in your WebApp structure it As... make a payment (e-commerce); Leave a comment; Like on Facebook; Tweet on twitter, save as a favorite; Send to a friend. etc.  This does not mean that everything is possible (e.g. making payments would be possible using a built-in "seamless" payment gateway).   its prob a dumb question... but if make a website with the catalyst for the company and for some reason any I renewed my subscription cc where that leaves me with editing and updating the site...

  BC site subscription depends on your subscription of the CC, if CC subscription is not renewed then hosting website will be renewed not so will convert into a place of trial.

  Even with Muse subscription, you can always edit and update your site with the trial version, but please note that the trial version has a limited duration of 30 days.

• I want to publish my muse site using catalyst for the company, but don't want to use a long name, how to use the catalyst for business with my domain name registered?

  I am a novice in computers, but also Web design, so I signed up for creative Cloud for our Web site design churches.  I really love Muse for design, but it is frustrating that there is so little opportunity to get questions answered quickly.  I even subscribe to TrainSimple.  It's a good overview, but little support for issues.  I know that creative cloud is huge and likely most people use other programs and more, but anyone know where I can go to get direct responses? I looked at all the training videos and read most of the available information.

  I would like to publish the sitre using Business Catalyst but do not want to use such a long name.  How can I use Business Catalyst with the area, we already have?

  I have problems with the design of the tab.  When I saw there is a large grey vertical shade along the right side of the image. I think it must have something to do with the size of the property of the original page, but I'm following what is suggested.

  Also, the version of Tab comes up on my tab when I test it - it shows the version of office that does not fit.

• Slow muse - can I combine two files of same domain Business Catalyst

  I have a problem with Muse, it works well to slowly when I design my site. I have a macbook pro, enough new good spec but with my Muse file which has only 80 pages I get the beachball. I want to do is perhaps to create a few different files with the same master desinged separating the site but all related to the same domain. I don't really mind that menus will not work because I'm just using the menu as links to different pages, so technically I could just use a hyperlink to 'other sites' instead of a link.

  I'm using Business Catalyst as hosting provider, do you know how can I add multiple files from Muse to the same domain on Business Catalyst? Has anyone tried this and had a bit of luck? Is it still possible?

  Hi Chris,

  As long as you pay attention to the "index.html" file and have the same page in all the files of your Muse so when you publish content will get pushed in BC and are similar to what is there, you should be fine.

  You can think of it, something like this:

  file 1 - has the index.html (homepage) and the ' about us' page

  file 2 - has the index.html (similar to that of 1st file homepage) and the "contact us" page

  file 3 - has the index.html (identical to the file 1st and 2nd home page) and "How it works" page

  Every time you press one of these files BC the index will continue to seek the same because on pages with the same name is not replaced, the other pages will just stay there as they are at the moment of the publish. You should pay some attention to the CSS files also.

  Alternatively, you can ignore the creation of the homepage even, export your files locally and manually post BC via sFTP your HTML, CSS, JS, etc files.

  As to your question about from some positions. Yes, you can. You can make use of the catalysts for the characteristic 'Catégories' company. Create a category for recommended messages and those list.

  I recently started working for a self-employed designer-Builder, who owns a Web site well designed on Business Catalyst. I do not have a web design background, but now the site has become one of my legacy features. Be familiar with Indesign and Photoshop, there are points that I have grown frustrated trying to navigate through the program of rigid in British Colombia. It is only today that I discovered Muse and Dreamweaver. I have read that they can be integrated with BC, which is the only way that we would be interested in their use. (I don't have time to recreate the Web site from scratch). However, I see real value in using such software, go ahead, because it will allow me to do the development of the site in an interesting product and dynamic - not to mention the time I'm going to make changes and updates.

  My question is, is it possible to take a fully developed BC site and integrate it into Muse or Dreamweaver. If so, which would you recommend? (Which is more closely related to Indesign)? Can you direct me to a tutorial that explains how to do? Everything I read tell starting with Muse and then plug on Business Catalyst.
