using computer hp in the USA and the Canada, I'm in Australia

I live in Adelaide, Australia and go in 3 weeks in the United States and the Canada. I want to take my Pavilion from HP computer with me. currently at home, I have a telstra wireless, which also manages my Apple IPad 2 and IPhone 5. I need to be able to connect them altogether and be able to get an internet connection to everything, then outside. Anyone know what I can do to achieve this please. Many Thanxs Stellaginger

As long as your friend has set up wi - fi at home your devices should use it happily. In Los Angeles, you should be able to find services temporary wi - fi free in cafes, restaurants, hotel, etc.

  • Portable spectrum: will be my new laptop computer spectrum bought the work we camera in Australia

    Hello.

I just bought a new laptop of spectrum in the United States.

I need travel in Australia for work. This portable US will be OK when plugged into power in Australia which has a different voltage (assuming I use a plug converter suitable).

Also, do you know if it is possible to use a HP spectrum Australian power adapter so that I don't have to carry around one of these power converters ugly on the end of the plug US?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

First of all I live in a city called Melbourne (Aystralia) right now and my laptop computer loan spectrum is the United States (office of HP in Utah) and Yes, all I need is a tourist adapter as shown above.

Second performance I see no difference, please note: we use 240V in Australia and the charger will be doing the work to convert AC current DC to run the laptop.

I would like to mention here: I've traveled around not less than 20 countries with some laptops (from time to time, not at once) and once again all I need is a universal travel adapter.

    Kind regards.

  • Can I use my iPhone 6 bought in Hong Kong in the Canada?

Can I use my iPhone 6s bought in Hong Kong in the Canada?

Your question can mean two things:

    1. Can I use my iPhone to the Canada?  I'll be there for a short period of time and wish to use there, but continue to keep my current (based in Hong Kong) cellular service provider.  I know I'm paying expensive roaming charges for my use of telephone and cellular data.
    2. Can I use my iPhone to the Canada?  I bought it in Hong Kong, but will live in the Canada and wish to use a Canadian cell phone company, once I am there.

The answer to (1) is certainly!

The answer to (2) is I'm not sure, but I do not.  To have any hope of answer (2) 'Yes', you at least should:

    • Have the cellular carrier based in Hong Kong to unlock iPhone (I don't think that they do so at all - I know that they would not be if the iPhone has begun on the Japan.)
    • Have the cellular company Canadian base to use methods of transmission and/or frequencies (e.g. GSM) accepts the iPhone from Hong Kong.

See recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device and also make a library of portable split. If you are recovering your library to a portable external drive, it will be ready to move to your replacement computer, the time is right.

Best to make a/Clean Custom installation of XP. Never can tell what the unwanted (like viruses) may exist.

    (1) Note the make and model of your computer.

    (2) check that the 25-character product key is always fixed to the case or at the bottom of your laptop.

    3) go to the support of the manufacture web site and know what "F" key, you will need to press on when the computer starts, run a reinstallation of XP (or use the recovery media if you have a).

    (4) reinstall XP and create a new user account. Note: If you use the support CD of 'Recover' you will need to re-enter the product key to activate Windows.

If you can install and run iTunes correctly, then I'm sure that sync with an iPod will work as well.

What do you mean exactly with "add to iTunes"?

  • Impossible to use the TV and computer screen at the same time

I hooked my TV screen until my computer tower. I also have a separate computer screen. I set up two monitors in the display screen.

However I can either use the TV as my computer or my computer screen as the screen. I can't use both, I have to make a choice. Is it possible that I can have it operational both at once? I am running Windows Vista Home Premium.

(The problem is that my TV screen is more than 3 meters of my mouse, and if I can use it is a bit difficult. I intend to subscribe to BBC iPlayer and want to watch on my TV Samsung big)

OK I solved the problem. What I did to go in my NVIDIA via the Control Panel, then choose the display settings in the menu on the left. Then, he would come with my two screens. I right click on the number 2, which is my main computer, and then in the menu that came I took the clone and then clicked on apply. So now, the two screens are working.

I tried this before I sent it but no menu came have no idea why!

  • Computer bluescreens and falls down, can't use safe mode or the repair of the system

Original title: does not work for me repair system
    always do, the blue screen

    Hello, 55adan

Since you are not able to access Safe Mode or perform a system repair, you will need to use your system recovery discs or Windows installation disc to reinstall Windows.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/installing-and-reinstalling-Windows-Vista

Please note that if you use a recovery disk, the contents of hard disks is cleared if you need to connect the drive to a working computer down all the files you need.

If you have a Windows install disk, if you choose that a custom installation and DO NOT format the drive, your old files must all be placed in the folder C:\Windows.old. To protect against data loss, it is always recommended to recover all the data you want the drive first well.

  • locking the computer: if not using computer for a while, it locks and requires the initial password to get in

So do not use computer for a while, it locks and requires the initial password to get back in. When it becomes available, we've been thrown off internet, or another program we are.

I don't know why Mr. Murphy suggested a system restore. Maybe he interpreted your post differently I did. You have your screen standby/power options defined on too short a time. You can also disable the requirement for a password during the recovery.

Right-click on an empty area of the desktop and click on personalize. To customize the applet opens. Click the screen saver. Change the timeout to something reasonable like 10 or 20 minutes. You will see where you can clear the check box next to the "password required on curriculum vitae... ».

Now do the same in the (Control Panel) Power Options applet. This link contains pictures showing you how to disable this option:
