Using Dreamweaver CS4 to link...
Recently, I have built a site on Dreamweaver CS4. This is the basic layout of what I did. My site is based on a template, I put in place using the two a spry menu bar (vertical) and a basic image nav bar (not at the same time, but tried two in my efforts to get rid of my problem). I ran into the same problem with the nav options. I have all of my pages linked together and everything worked fine, until I decided to add a few extra pages and change a few things on the site. When I try to link these pages to the navigation bar links will not work. The only links that work are those original that I put in place. Hope somone can help...

My links and external links do not work on my page. Using Dreamweaver CS4
I followed all the instructions to add external links to my website using Dreamweaver CS 4. I can't click on one of the links in the body of my pages, even on my plan page of the site that my internal links do not work. Get the Web site on the search engines? I used Dreamweaver CS4.
I have a Web site that launched recently, was created with Dreamweaver CS4. After using certain search engines, I found that on some of them, some of my pages appear on the first page - however, none of them are the home page. Pages that appear, some of them do not even contain the keywords that I typed in the search engine.

To change the background color. Using Dreamweaver CS4

You have considered all this reconstruction without tables? A large part of your code looks like it comes from MS Word which is not optimal for the web.
The background image is + 1000px of wide and 374,01 KB (382 985 bytes). For the fastest loading backgrounds, consider using Gradients in CSS or small, seamless tiles and repeating to fill the viewport.
Honestly, I don't see anything here that couldn't be done better & much more effectively with a formatting table-less CSS. You want me to show you how?

I have a presentation in two days in Tokyo. And I'm panicking.
I'm on am Intel Mac OS X 10.4.11.
I have the latest version of Flash Player 10 installed. (Not the new beta version).
A few years ago, I created a great site in Dreamweaver MX.
I never had PROBLEMS with the .swf files display until using Dreamweaver CS4.
I updated my photography portfolios in Adobe Bridge and used Dreamweaver CS4 for link updates.
IT'S NOTHING MORE THAN THAT!
Then, show NONE of the .swf files which were still visible.
There is absolutely NO of Flash content now showing on any page of the site.
Not even in view in Safari or Firefox browser.
I downloaded the files with the SCRIPTS folder newly created on my server, and still no .swf file is visible.
These aren't the FLV files that they are .swf files which were anchored properly and were still visible. So far.
I have to go to Tokyo in two days and give a presentation of this site.
What is the problem?

Using a database of MsAccess with Dreamweaver CS4?

I have a question about the use of a database of Microsoft Access with Dreamweaver.
First of all, I was wondering if it was possible. Second, if it is, could someone give me instructions or a link on how to do it. I'm pretty new to Dreamweaver, code, etc., if simple instructions on how to do this would be great.
Here is some information...
(1) I am running Windows XP SP2
(2) I am using Microsoft Office 2003 (access included)
(3) I use Dreamweaver CS4
(4) I installed XAMMP (Apache, MySQL, FileZilla and PHPmyAdmin, as far as I know)
If someone needs more information, I will be hapy to share as soon as possible.

You can use Access with ASP. Since you also have installed XAMPP, this suggests that you want to use PHP. Dreamweaver PHP server behaviors work only with MySQL. Access is not to go.
Even if you use ASP, Access is not really suitable for use on a Web site, unless the database is small enough and you have very little traffic.

Problems using frames in Dreamweaver Cs4
I use Dreamweaver cs4 and am trying to create a new web site. Using 3 images on my page. Try to have a B & W photo as background for 1 frame and pictures of children of color in another frame. Looks great in the browser Viewer, but once downloaded, frames with photos are blank or display only text and no pictures are displayed. In addition, none of the fonts that I have chosen for the test in one of the frames appear. Only fonts for all basic text. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since 2009 I use Dreamweaver CS4 Student Edition on a computer with Windows (now: Windows 7 Professional).
Change the system from Windows to Mac, I would like to know if there is no possibility to use my (old) software on the new system.
I can do any additional download using my personal serial number to my Mac-compatible software. I have no more cost?

I used Dreamweaver CS4 on old PC Vista for years. Bought laptop Win10, deactivate CS4 on old PC, load CS4 on the new laptop computer and he returns the number invalid reg. I am able to reactivate the CS4 on old PC. All the ideas!

Creative suite Adobe CS 4 is a very old software and the operating system you are using is the most recent, so there may be compatibility issues that adobe has not tested these applications on newer operating systems.
However, you can try downloading & installing the installer for Adobe creative suite 4 CS from following link:
Download Adobe Creative Suite 4 products
Compare the size of the file downloaded with the display on the Web page.
Please be sure to select the language as Universal English as when I saw your Adobe ID (email address) you used to post here, I found that you have a Dreamweaver CS 4 to WIN what EU language recorded thereon.

I get an error that your flv file has been downloaded (or not in the right place). The path to the flv file, make sure that you download the FLV in addition to your html document.

Dreamweaver CS4 continues to display a license error 150:30. Any ideas?
I use Dreamweaver CS4 on a MacBook Pro. After a Mac OSX update earlier today Dreamweaver continues to display a license error 150:30 and the only solution online is not adapted to the OS 10.9.5. Any ideas?
Well, without apparent reason, after trying the approach to the application terminal for a fourth time it is working. Two reboots later and Dreamweaver seems to be unlocked. Thanks to Fritz II @Jon to help him.
