  Is - this problem only occurs with the option to search or there is a problem with all the option in the preferences?

  You have probably not install or update the Flash Player plugin on the XP Pro computer. Note IE & Firefox use different plugins for FlashPlayer.

  According to the description of the problem, it seems that you have problems with changing the language of the home screen.

  1. press WIN + R to launch the dialog box RUN. Type regedit and press ENTER. It will open the registry editor.

  2 now go to the following key:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SystemProtectedUserData

  3 under "SystemProtectedUserData" key, you will see a key with the name similar to S-1-5-21-x-x-x-x. Under this key, go to:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SystemProtectedUserData\S-1-5-21-x-x-x-x\AnyoneRead\LocaleInfo

  4 key 'LocaleInfo' is that we need to change the format of date and time screen locking. This key contains all the required information has been stored in the INI file in Windows 8 test versions.

  For example, if you want to display information in the Hindi language, change the nomlocale string values and the language on the screen - IN and lock will begin showing the name of the day and date in Hindi language.

  

  You can use any language code such as en-US for English, en - us for German, en - US for the French, ru - RU, Russia, etc.

  "Change appearance" is disabled. It has always been since I 1st turned on this game in Win 7 Pro x 64.

  Just to be sure: the option "change appearance" depends on the selected layout (turtle etc.), then you should choose a layout first before you can change the displayed details (colors and patterns of the stones etc.). This option is not available on the start screen (grayed out =) where you see the layouts available but don't have selected one yet.

  In your case, the option is not available on selected either page layout screen (where it shouldn't be greyed out). Is this fair?

  I have computer LAPTOP Compaq Presario A900 in which I installed Windows 8 Pro. After the installation, I'm not able to change my screen resolution. When I right click on the desktop, and then select the screen resolution, it is written in the resolution 1024 x 768 (recommended)box. I can't change the screen resolution. In Device Manager, I tried to update my Generic PnP Monitor driver, it says that your driver is up to date.

  This Device Manager cannot find generic drivers.  I recommend go to the Compaq website and download all the drivers for your model laptop (same drivers you already have, bring here to ensure that you have the latest version of the non-generic), but above all, including the graphics driver.

  Windows Home Server 2011 is currently not able to back up starting systems UEFI is not able to save the TPG type systems.  It must be sent in a future update of the Windows Home Server product.

  I just had my father buy a new Dell laptop, on the assumption that he would be able to connect to its network and to back up the server in the same way that his laptop Win7 had been save.

  Now, I'm at a loss as the best thing to tell him to do so until the next time that I visit.

  You would have to edit or delete the mimeTypes.rdf file in the Firefox profile folder.

• I use firefox on a computer with Windows XP and Ubuntu, with the card-Firefox profile in a separate, partition do not have to remove the 'blocking of parent' whenever I want to use Firefox.

  Looks like it can do what you want.

  If you don't already have it, download v5.2cA if you have 32 bits, or v5.5aAs if you have 64-bit Windows and install in XP or Vista compatibility mode.

  Me and my boyfriend have both administrator accounts, but my boyfriend is the main administrator account. I went on his account and tried to change it and it remained has changed in his narrative. So I downloaded a new theme in his account and selected one to use. Then disconnected and logged into my account and tried again and it worked. I can now use the new theme. And it does not change back. Very strange. Don't know if it will stop working if it goes back to the windows default wallpapers. I hope not.

  I just installed my new Epson printer, am having trouble followed all instructions to do a test print. I didn't click on Trouble shooter, but then confused... sigh... He connected with a USB 2.0 cable. I installed it with a disc, & shows the printer in the printers and faxes list, and shows the test print in the print queue. I read something that said I should check if the printer is compatible with Windows XP... don't know what to do next... Please, be patient with me, I'm old (but not stupid lol) I'm just confused what to do next... so many instructions that I'm not sure of...

  If you tell us the model of the printer, we can find if it is XP compatible.  If it is USB 2.0, it cannot be.

  However, Epson would be the best bet.
