Using jstl if tag inside the tag column ADF?

Hi all

I was wondering if its possible to use jstl if tag within a column of table ADF to determine what values to display? Basically, I want to display different output depending on whether there is a value of row.binding.
 <af:column headerText="Some Command" id="c14">
              <c:if test="${row.bindings.settingValue.inputValue}">
                    <af:outputText value="#{row.bindings.settingValue.inputValue}"id="ot7"/>
              </c:if>
              <c:if test="${row.bindings.pbSettingValue.inputValue}">
                     <af:outputText value="#{row.bindings.pbSettingValue.inputValue}" id="ot8"/>
              </c:if>
</af:column>

You can use an af:switcher for this. Check out http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=tMuZJvU5eTk&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DtMuZJvU5eTk&gl=DE

    Michelle,

    I have good news. I was able to reproduce, locate and bypass your problem.

    The problem is the following:

    works very well in JSF pages, but it does not work in JSF fragments (which are part of a glued TaskFlow, what is included in a page parent as a ) because ADF when executing a miscalculation of the value of of 'for' - attribute when it is part of a region BTF. For example, suppose that the has id = "it1" (as it is in your JSF fragment above) and this TaskFlow defined in included as a with id = "r1" in a parent page. Then the internal ID of the input text field will be 'r1:0:it1', but at runtime, the framework will set the value of 'for' - attribute to the 'r1:it1' (which is wrong) instead of "r1:0:it1" (which is the correct value).

    You can work around this bug by specifying:

    Instead of

    in your code above. In this way the framework will make up the correct value for the 'for' - attribute at run time and will not work correctly. Don't worry the caveat against a non-existent ID in the JDev source code editor.

    You must do this trick only in fragments JSF and you should not do in JSF pages.

  • How to access the BPM 11 g load useful or process varibles in the workflow of ADF

    I'm trying to view/edit the data in a user interface that is linked to a database by using a foreign key, requestId. The foreign key comes from a BPM process where it is spent in the workflow, a human task. The foreign key comes process variables or values of payload. I know that I can simply load the payload in BPM with the data in the tables, but I'm looking for a better solution use the ADF business components to view and edit data directly in the user interface.

    The BPM process uses a web service to start the process. Web services takes a primary key as a parameter to reference a column in the database table. The data is pre-filled with content and a primary key reference. The first activity is an activity of the user. I want the workflow behind the user activity to accept this primary key and use to locate the line in the database, so related views of the database delimited ADF business components can work to present the data in the user interface.

    I tried two approaches to the problem. The first uses the setCurrentRowWithKeyValue operation. The other changes the SQL where clause, used by the ADFbc iterator only returns one row for the given requestId. Both of these approaches fail to work because I don't know how to access the load BPM or variable data entering the workflow. Here is the piece of code that I used to try to define the row using the value of setCurrentRowWithKey:

    public String setRequestId() {}

    FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();
    Object requestObj = context.getApplication () .evaluateExpressionGet)
    context, "#{bindings."(, Number.class) RequestId.inputValue "};
    If (requestObj is nothing)
    Returns a null value.
    RequestId number;
    requestId = (number) requestObj;

    ITR DCIteratorBinding = (DCIteratorBinding)

    getBindings () .get ("PatfRequestHdrView1");

    itr.setCurrentRowWithKeyValue (requestId.toString ());

    Returns a null value.

    I didn't get very far with the second approach, change SQL where clause, because I do not know Groovy. I think I need something like:

    adf.object.viewObj.RequestId. but it is not a viewObject associated with BPM data, so I don't know that this particular expression will not work.

    Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards
    Mark

    Try this code in your method:

    FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();
    String ctx = (String) context.getApplication () .evaluateExpressionGet (context, "#{pageFlowScope.bpmWorklistContext}", String.class);
    String tskId = (String) context.getApplication () .evaluateExpressionGet (context, "#{pageFlowScope.bpmWorklistTaskId}", String.class);
    IWorkflowServiceClient workflowSvcClient = WorkflowService.getWorkflowServiceClient ();
    ITaskQueryService wfQueryService = workflowSvcClient.getTaskQueryService ();
    IWorkflowContext wfContext = wfQueryService.getWorkflowContext (ctx);
    Task myTask = wfQueryService.getTaskDetailsById (wfContext, tskId);
    XMLElement xmlPayload = (XMLElement) myTask.getPayloadAsElement ();
    get the payload as a string simple, useful for debugging
    java.io.StringWriter writer = new java.io.StringWriter ();
    xmlPayload.print (writer);
    String payloadAsString = writer.toString ();
    extract payload values: use methods in Oracle XDK

  • How to use the validator for an inputtext inside the af: column

    Hi Experts ADF,

    Jdev version 11.1.1.7.0

    I created a datacontrol pojo based. And trained as a table in a jsf page. I have a column in which I have an inputText.

    Initially the inputText is a certain values as 0, 10 and 12 respectively.

    Now, I want the end user to change some values in this column and the validation range must be between 1 and 10000.

    But after using the validator if other lines have default values 0 then validation is triggered for all lines.

    Thank you

  • How to manage the pause embedded inside the CSV column line

    Hello

    I'm under pressure to make it work. I've already put this question on the forum of the APEX, but on reflection, I think that it relates more to PL/SQL rather than APEX APEX 4.1 having already utility to manage the Upload of CSV.
    If you already read in the forum of the APEX, please ignore.
    I'm sorry for that. Thanks for reading.

    I need to develop an application that allows the user to upload a CSV file to a table of interface.
    The APEX version on my workplace is 4.0.2.
    I used the code of
    http://dbswh.webhop.NET/HTMLDB/f?p=blog:read:0:article:11000346061523
    It all works fine until recently I find
    If a column in a CSV file cotain a break line (or line spacing) for example (the tester copy and paste this text which has a line break on a column in a spreadsheet)

    It is the first sentence.
    It is the second sentence.

    It will break the 'it's the second sentence In a new column.

    The contents of the CSV read next to Notepad as below
    Date of assessment, Date, assessment provider, name of the assessor, Court, first name, middle name, last name, PRN person record, NHI number, assisted defendant Y/N number, is dependent on O/N, Notes, primary of ethnicity, "the ethnic origin other, please specify", gender, currently in treatment O/N, another Substance, Substance of concern 5 specified
    22/09/2012, Co name of the provider, Warren Edgley, Wellington, sale, 2545554, dgsdf,, 'is the first sentence.
    It's the second sentence. ', Japanese, woman, b.

    This is the CSV UTIL code, please help me how can I replace the line break to a space so that the download process is correct.

    I want to know how can replace these newline within a column to a space.

    Thank you very much in advance.

  • How to use SQL * Loader to load the XMLType column with other columns?

    Hello

    I try to use sqlldr to load an XML file into a table with an XMLType column. I have found many examples where the entire table is an xmltype, but I'd like to load a lot of XML objects in a generic table for treatment with a single XMLType column and other columns to identify the load. A simple example, I have a constant column which I want to put during the download.

    The following example does not work: (.) No error either.

    create the table xml_upload

  • How can I call or even use a class library inside the application that has been downloaded along with the app?

    Hi all. I have a question?

    I have an application and a library.  Inside of the app have a lot of calls of this library (easy to say my app that is dependent on the library).

    I tried the following scenario: in the main application I added logic to download the library programmatically. But something I missunderstood around that. So, I'm first to download my application that depends on the library then I thought to check in the constructor, if the library exists then activate the app if not then download the lib and restarts the device.

    My problem now is if I call a list of class of the library, then the app not working and would be lifted except that «the application contains errors of audit»

    So, how can I avoid this? or even

    How download this lib from the app and have other methods inside this app called library which is not yet downloaded?

    Thank you in advance. A sample will be apreciated.

    No, which would require a second application, such as an installer

  • Variblae presentation that goes to the logical column of the RPD

    Hello

    Can someone please tell me how to pass the variable to the presentation to logical column RPD
    I capture a date from a command prompt and set a State column based on the user date selects from the command prompt.

    can some please tell me how to get there...

    Thanks in advance

    You can pass the query variable to RPD.

    Create a session named PRESENTATION_VARIABLE variable. Write some SQL block initialization as select 'something' double.

    You can now use this session variable in the logical column as VALUEOF (NQ_SESSION. PRESENTATION_VARIABLE).

    Now, go into the dash prompt, change the column by which you want to set the variable presentation. Select request Variable throughout a variable drop-down list.

    Type the name of the variable to query PRESENTATION_VARIABLE.

    Now in your dashboard report, you can use the logical column that uses this query variable.

    Let me know if it worked or not.

    Thank you

  • TemplateBeginEditable tag inside the editable region

    I bought a HTML template several years and it works fine until I updated for Dreamweaver on creative cloud. I can still update the pages, but now I can't update a page template. I get the following error whenever I try to update a page template:

    There is an error on line 49, column 47 (absolute position 2839) of (Template:main.dwt) TemplateBeginEditable tag inside the editable region

    My temporary solution was to go back to an older version of Dreamweaver (CS5) on an old Mac to make updates to the model. But I would like to solve this problem, so I can make changes in CC model.

    I wonder if this is related to the code Linting.  Maybe if you disable the Linting in preferences DW will leave an error appears when there seems to be none.

    Otherwise, try to restore preferences-

    Unusual behavior in Dreamweaver? Restore preferences.

    Or continue to use the previous version of DW with this model.

  • Model Dreamweaver, renounce the error 'instancebegineditable tag inside the editable region.

    I searched the internet and no matter what forum I can find about Dreamweaver and find the solutions that they don't did not help me, but there was a problem of command for many people. I created a template by following the steps via a tutorial from helpvid.net and the website looked very good to be pretty basic but since last night when I try save the model gives the error message "there is an error in line 8, column 47 (absolute position 789) of 'address of the file': InstanceBeginEditable tag inside the editable region.» Now from what I have read on the forums that means usually there is a spelling error or something placed inside the area when should not be, but there are only 50 odd lines on it and can't see any problem. When I view the files it gives error on, replicas of the editable 'start' there are has a number of times, but they shouldn't be there because they are not on the model. IM also conclusive that until this error came pages went well when downloaded, but now the footer height that has been set to 20px is 200px when downloaded and I check all coding for it so the Divs see but still no error. I downloaded my tempalete and some of the pages that mistakes about donations to see if that help, do not know if its better just stick wall of coding so sick message links to the files and if the code must be pasted here ill do it. http://dublinmoulding.com/ <-work im site, one can see the footer is very large. • Settings for the right column div tag

    Hi guys

    Inside my base model home page, I want a column on the right that starts at the top right under the header. This will serve to show the news and contact and so.

    I have a separate div for the text on the left and a div to the right column. The right div is set to "position: absolute" because he must remain top-right under the header.

    But as you can see on the screenshot, social media icons that are part of the model appear just below the div to the left.

    How can I configure the right column div tag to keep it at the top right, the text on the left remains where it is and that the right column corresponds to the div model so that social media icons will be displayed automatically below the contact information on the right.

    The second screenshot shows the result as it should be for the social media icons, so below all the content of the page.

    Some fundamental fixes you should do first:

    • Yourtag begins after you have already a meta tag and tag style open on your page. Solve this problem
    • For this reason, the tag appears as away during validation. If you set the point #1, this should be resolved

    Now coming to your question in the discussion.

    You have

    more than once on your page. It's illegal markup. ID can only be used once per page. If you want to repeat the same style for more than 1 item, make a class and style it in CSS with .body_right instead of #body_right. In this way, you can re - use this element never how many times you want.

    In the file/styles/style. CSS, line 2200:

    {#column_right}

    Display: block;

    position: absolute;

    high: 25;

    Width: 25%;

    left: 75%;

    z-index: auto;

    }

    Who to change:

    {#column_right}

    Display: block;

    float: right;

    Width: 25%;

    }

    Get rid of everything that isn't here in my code above ^.

    See how your position elements / line up and post back if you need assistance.
