• Access/use of measures of dimension in a report - specifically the Total account

  I'm curious to know how, others may have approached performaing calculations on the Dimension tables to report stats on their dimensional data.
  
  For example. I have a DIM_CUSTOMER dimension with a dimension snowflake DIM_CUSTOMER_LOCATION. A CUSTOMER can have multiple locations.
  
  I would like to calculate the following information:
  
  LOCATION, PERCENTAGE OF CLIENTS

  Percentage of clients would be a calculation of:

  I am able to do my application to calculate the number of visitors to the location and PLACE. But I am struggling to determine in a clean way to get the total number of all customers to compare to the number of clients at each location.
  
  A way I see to do this is to define a variable of repository that runs just a county for me ahead of the customer table to get all customers and then use this variable in my calculation of the PERCENTAGE OF CUSTOMERS. But this seems to be a way to cluegy to do.
  
  How do I create a measure of the number of guests that can be slid and has dropped and used anywhere where necessary in the answers?

  You want a table of logical facts 'Clients', with a score of LTS at your Customer Dimension.

  Create a "customer account" measure, map to your unique customer id and define aggr. to count.
  Duplicate this measure, call it "Total clients ' and set the level on the tab content for this measure at the"Total"level in your customer dimension.

  Simple!

  Create a logical column with percentage of calc or perform it in the responses.
  No probs let us know.

  does anyone know how to avoid the factual constraint when you create a report with two filters on different dimensions?
  
  I have a fact table big with more than 10 million lines. In the starmodel is the customer of the dimension and the products. I create a filter on the customer atrribute 'Status' and set to 'active '. Now I add the "Product Type" column of the dimension 'Product' in the filter section. When I want to choose a value OBIEE executes a select statement in the fact table. So I have to wait very long to select a value. Is it possible to say OBIEE only to select the dimension table without joining the fact table?

  Create a table of facts of the DUMMY and make also implied made for this dimension column. It will solve the problem.

  The "Dim_W_GL_ACCOUNT_D" is attached to facts 'Fact_W_GL_OTHER_F' and 'Fact_W_GL_BALANCE_F '. These two fact tables have an inner join to "Dim_W_GL_ACCOUNT_D". The change that I made in th MDB is - I added 2 new logical dimensions DimA and Edin and joined them for the above 2 fact tables.

  Looking at the screenshot you posted, a recommendation is to make sure that the header file and library with the same name, also have you been able to call the dll or lib successfully in another environment, IE such as visual studio to check there is nothing wrong with the files. • problem reading DAQmx using Measurement Studio 2010 (even with examples OR)

  I'm reading the voltage using a map of NOR-DAQ-6211 with Measurement Studio 2010 SP1 V9.1.0.204. using Visual Basic .net 2010.
  When I create the task of data acquisition with the measurement studio Wizard, (Assistant DAQ) everything works fine. However, when I try to create my own task player in looking over the "ContAcqVoltageSamples_IntClk" everything I read is a value in the range of Vmin to Vmax (or to Vmin Vmax) and then she stays there no matter if I change my diet. Vmin and Vmax does not yet match my values of voltage. (It acts like that on my application and example of OR) I guess I missed a few initial settings. The config of AIChannel in two projects (manual task and Augo-Gen) use AIChannelConfig.RSE (I tried other options, but no luck).

  The only wiered thing is that when I open examples of projects, VS does not recognize the object references of NOR. Workspace names DAQmx. When I check the references, it shows that it does not find the reference to NI.Common. To make it work/compilation, removed from the solution and I again added. (I don't think this is related, as it seems that there are available tensions but not read correctly).

  The other thing is that my input voltage is 3 or 0 volt. When you use the manual DAQtask, when I toggle the voltage, the values displayed change momentarily the order of 0.001 Volts and then go back to their previous values of Vmax and Vmin.

  Yay! I just solved my problem,

  From the first moment I knew there was something fishy about this AITerminalConfig thingy! I made two errors:

  1. in the code example Configuration AI is encoded: CType (-1, AITerminalConfiguration) that caused the code example does not work for all channels to HAVE it

  2 - also, I have in my code, I had put this config to the correct value, but I was checking ai0 all the time while the signal was on another I. I was under the impression that since the example does not work for all my channels, then probably my code does not work as well.

  You can specify the sampling frequency with "DAQmx Timing.vi" located in the function palette DAQmx (read context-sensitive help on how to use wisely).

  You do not have to use M & A exploring (MAX) to create a task.

  A simple and quick way is to use DAQ Assistant (same configuration as in MAX) to configure your measurement.

  Another is to use blocks of DAQmx function to manually build your application code.

  In my experience Assistant DAQ is ideal for simple tasks (one measure), with regard to the more complex measures (synchronized the analog and digital inputs).

  I tend to use function blocks because they give you more freedom about code execution.

  Note: You can also build DAQmx code from a wizard configured DAQ task.

  In the system properties > System Protection disable protection for the D drive

  BTW have you created your recovery disks, using the process described by the manufacturer of your PC, if you you do not need to do that now!

  I created a new page and it is the only one that I'm trying to get the jpg images to be called from.  The remote page is: www.columbianexpositiontickets.com/All Pages/ferrispage/mainferris.htm ticket sales.  There are three JPGs on the page and everything just, I don't know how to change the situation where the jpg files will appear.

  I have three JPEG images in the folder 'ferrispage' and even a 'pictures' folder in the same folder.

  I do not know how to change the remote possibility, just "site" and "pertinent" are presented.  I sometimes get a "530 login incorrect.
