Using my jaw with App blackBerry smartphones music

I was not able to get my Pearl 8130 to recognize my jaw in order to listen to Podcasts using the music application. He does not even recognize it in the Options menu so that I can activate it. Properties of the device from the list under services jaw, but not "sink Audio", "Helmet" (or for that matter "has / V remote control target" or "has / V remote control ') like my Motorola S9. Is it possible to get the app music to give some love to my jaw? Or is it the jaw that poisons relationships?

jaw don't suport a2dp. which means that he will not play your music through the headphones like the fact your s9. However, there are different formats, which will play in the jaw. as different types of sounds and things like that... but for the music, it will be bad quaility. If you are looking for a helmet that will play your MP3 and then find a defined head that will support a2dp. Jabra has a very good headset that works. I use it all the time while im working and nobody knows im listening to music, I don't have the volume all the way to the top.

Does anyone know what would be the problem?

    (2) a Batt Pull reboot (power on, remove the battery, wait, insert the battery, wait), even if redundant to the one you did in step 1.

    3) install a new copy of AppWorld (on your BB)

    (4) restart another Batt-sweater

    (5) see if it works now.

Maybe Yes, maybe no... There are 4 bytes for each level of the operating system, not only 3:

    • KB23393 How to check the model number and the version of the BlackBerry device software on a BlackBerry smartphone

So there may be a more recent OS for your device, but with only 3 bytes, there is no way to compare. You can, however, see the official download portal for:

Please help I need my bbm back

    Hello presh007

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

If you already verified and that you are unable to locate your BBM icon, then you should try reinstalling the BlackBerry Messenger application, it may be useful.

To do it from your home screen to go to Options > device > Application Management > locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from this list.

KB10040 : How to view or delete the application installed on a blackberry smartphone

Deleted once perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your device is turned on, wait a min. and then reinsert this return.

Finally, after the reboot, use your BlackBerry browser and go to www.blackberry.com/bbmdownload and download the most recent version available. After installation, restart your device once more, connecting with your BlackBerry ID and check if you are able to send BBM to one of these devices.

Please try it and let us know of your progress.

  • Storage in my apps blackBerry Smartphones

    Hi all

    I recently bought a blackberry curve 9300.

I would like to know that, after the storage (256 MB) in my world (applications) space is filled (1.8 GB) media card storage allows instead?

If Yes, then how can I change the settings to make my memory to the main storage space in 'my applications' card?

If no, then how can I free up space: 256 MB... I have only 5 MB left and uninstalled all applications that I don't use.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

The short answer is no. And the way to free memory is to have as few applications as possible, make sure that you have no applications with memory leaks always close apps correctly and restart (battery pull) from time to time to clean things up.

    The longer answer is here:

There are three types of potential memory on a BB: 1) application memory, the device memory) 2 and 3) Media/SD memory card

Application memory - it is the most important; It is protected (not available to the user), dedicated and (fixed size) space as the destination for the installation of applications (more a few storage applications, overhead and other costs). You can't touch AppMemory. You cannot improve the maximum AppMemory that your BB has. It is what it is. Applications can install only here... There is no other choice.

The device memory - it is space on your BB you can touch these files, images, media, etc. In general, it is not very big, but it is available.

Memory card SD/Media - is what it says... your SD card to store files, media, photos, etc.. It can be as large as your BB OS can support... see this KB:

    • KB05461 Sizes of card MicroSD taken in charge by the BlackBerry device software

On some devices/OS levels, you can see 'Free file' (Options > status), I think this is equivalent to AppMemory. You can see on other devices, all the memory usage levels three (Options > memory). Here are some tips to use:

    • KB02843 What is the function of low memory manager on the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB14320 How to maximize space and power battery life on the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB14213 Call logs, SMS text and email messages are deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone

Finally, it is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance. On the contrary, to close an application, tap on and select 'Close' or 'Quit'... which force the application to be closed, freeing resources for your new use it consumed. Some applications will always be running (in general - BBMessenger, browser, homescreen, phone and Messages)... but, you should always close them properly - especially the browser... If we leave on a web page, it will not consume only additional resources, but the power of the battery as well.

In addition, each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy. Some have taken to do this on a regular basis as a preventive measure... some as often as once a day. Others got the app QuickPull to automate a simulated Batt Pull.

    Good luck!

  • Automatic synchronization with handsfree blackBerry Smartphones

Can I set up my device automatically accepting the request of my hands-free sync. For now, I have to manually accept each time I get in my car?

    Hello

No, no, what you are experiencing is certainly not normal... BBs can, when properly configured, automatically connect to compatible car kits. See this reference:

    • KB18576 The BlackBerry smartphone always invites you to connect to a Bluetooth connection instead of the automatic connection

The problem is that, if there is a similar setting inside your car kit who also needs adjustment, then there is no way for RIM to provide statement... you will need to return to the installer you originally used.

FYI... your desire to 'just phone a Helpdesk of RIM' is admirable, but moved. When you bought your BB and subscribed to services, you have learned how the BB support model works. RIM has no service support for you in the ring upward. Rather, the model of care is distributed with carriers and authorized dealers taking primary formal support to their end users, with the possibility for them to escalate if RIM that they cannot resolve.

    Good luck!

  • Problem with attachments blackBerry Smartphones (PDF format)

Hi all I need your help.

Bye and soon of the Italy, Bruno

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS configuration for these accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • With opera blackBerry Smartphones download applications

So, I would download applications with mobile opera. When I press the download button the blackberrys own browser appears and tells me "your device not currently has in the browser configuration service book entries. Contact your service provider to enable the browser on your device. »
So I think that I can't use blackberry browser or app world without wifi because I live in Finland and nobody sells BlackBerry here. Some how set it so that I can download apps with opera?

Another question that I could not understand is what can I somehow send mms and use the browser with my 3 g unlocked torch (blackberry do not support my country with appworld)? I asked help from my service provider, but they have not yet heard of this phone.

Yes, well, you can install a generic services directory, but you won't get the BlackBerry browser for free, charge your BlackBerry data service provider and they have been in business for a reason... make money.

So, you really need to pay for what you use.

  • Issues with BBM blackBerry Smartphones 2

Hi, first I have a Bold 9700 and my contract covers everything (internet/email/bbm, etc.). (Edit: and I am on Orange, to the United Kingdom, if it makes a difference.)

But whenever I've been on BBM it has not looked like all the manuals of the user here say it should - I don't see the display picture of anyone, and I can't add my own. When I looked at the online books and tried to follow the instructions, the layout / interface was different textbooks suggest it should - and I tried a number of different versions of more textbooks, is not that I am looking at the wrong version.

However, I did check and noticed that I was on a version 4 something BBM. I had the link to update sent to my phone and updated. However, now the BBM icon has disappeared from my home page and I can't find anywhere to get back. I had been able to always get him well "switch application", but I restarted my phone and now I can not even find BBM through the application of switch option either.

I noticed something here on the RIM, I guess that's the issue, but I don't know why it would be. I did not add anything like that to my phone, but as I say, the complete package of my service provider, so I could not see any reason why I wouldn't be able to upgrade my BBM on my device.

Any help to recover the icon would be massively appreciated (while I want the display pic problem to work, I'm more interested in being able to get on BBM himself first!)

Thanks in advance for any help, greatly appreciated!

I would say this: use your BlackBerry Messenger feature to back up your contacts, you have now, and also, do a full backup using the Desktop Manager.

Then go into Options > Advanced > Applications and scroll the Messenger app and do not click it, just highlight it. Click Menu > delete and remove the application.

Now, do a restart: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

Finally, use your BlackBerry browser to go to http://blackberry.com/blackberrymessenger and download/install again the Messenger application.

After installation and reboot if necessary, check your instant messaging, or downloads of the application folder.

You can restore your contacts from the application of v.5 BBM or from Office Manager > Backup/Restore > advanced.

  • Swindled by an App blackBerry smartphones

Hello. I chose to download one based on the number of positive comments he had scoured the apps in appworld. There has been negative reviews as well, but I couldn't tell if these users problems are as a result of the program or their suppliers, etc. So I took a chance.

I got quite promptly, a confirmation email stating I was charged for the app and then I looked at the program starts to download. It was never finished. Moreover, when I look at my list of requests, it is not there. I went back to the app world to try to download again and the app now tells me that it is "Uninstall". How can something that never downloaded 'uninstall '? Or is it uninstalled the appworld?  There is no option for the re - download now. It's as if the program is untouchable.

I am very disappointed and I would like some answers. Is it the fault of the developer? Is it the fault of the app world? What is my equipment? If there is a problem with the download, why can't I try to download it again? If there is a difficulty, I would prefer that.

    OR is it a scam?

The records show that I paid but I have no product.

What is my recourse? Which checks to ensure that the applications are legitimate? How can I prevent this kind of disappointment with a product of the world app again?

Delete AppWorld in Options > advanced > Application.

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

The browser on your BlackBerry go to www.blackberry.com/appworld and download/install again.

  • Traveling with BBM blackBerry smartphones

I live in Toronto, and I got a lot of data with Rogers. I am currently in Florida, and I have problems sending messages BBM contacts. My mobile network is supported by AT & T-Rogers. I get emails, just not BBM messages. Is there something I need to achieve to the top/turn on my phone? I'm also going to Europe in the summer, so if there is something different, I have to do to allow me to use bbm in Europe, that the information is useful as well.

    Thank you!

When I compose a message of pine in this way, it does not work... but when I send a message through the BBM application, it is the clock bit next to the name of the recipient... and that's what I'm trying to rectify.

OK, well, then your international data include the PIN messaging, which would include BBMessenger as well.

If a user attempts to send you a BBMessage, you can receive?

I know late yesterday, I saw a few users are the United States, complaining about some BBM delays. I don't know if they are affected now.

You can always try a reboot simple:

With the BlackBerry powereddevice, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Often, in this way a reboot will restore all network connections.

  • Problem with the blackBerry Smartphones SMS Inbox

I had problems with my Blackberry Torch 9860 sms Inbox.  The time and date that are on my phone are correct, but when I go to my sms Inbox, the date is showing that "May 22, 2043" and each message arrives at "12:08" no matter what time it really is.

    This is an easy fix?

    Thank you!

I ended up remove all the messages of this 'day', so he would not appear in the Inbox and now when I send or receive that he puts the messages in the right time.

I have nothing else it seemed to have settled himself.
