BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Bold 9000 used to synchronize via USB

My fine version 4.6.0.12 installed blackberry Desktop Manager software, but it used to sync with my BB 9000 via a usb cable. I have Vista with SP1. After that I connected the device to the USB port of the operating system installs drivers BB and fails to install blackberry. If I log in as mass storage works fine, I can see the device and its data. Any ideas? I can't find a USB driver for the BB 9000

When I connect via USB the BB Bold 9000 to the windows computer fails to install a driver for the Smartphone "Blackberry" in windows update detects a driver, downloads the driver then come back with a message that there is a problem installing this driver contact manufacturing.

Its possible it to use desktop blackberry to xfer files, games, etc to another smart blackberry phone. I am not good at using the desktop software & often get confused with the help of the backup or import functions.
