  • BlackBerry Smartphones can use a BES smartphone if I'm not on a business network?

I've been a user of "BOLD" for years but my phone is dead and let me move on to the flame that I've wanted to since it was released. I'm on the network of O2 in England but for now in Florida roaming on T-Mobile. I had a 9810 opportunity on eBay and I'm trying to implement, but it does not recognize my BlackBerry ID. While on this thread of community, I discovered that there is a difference between BIS and BES that I never heard before. I'm one person, no business network, will be so much it made the difference, if this phone is BES? I think it is that there is an option for "Enterprise activation" under advanced system settings. I could not activate something there. But all phones have this option or just ones BES? How can you tell the difference and it will make a difference for me?

The phone you bought has been activated the BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server).  Unless you run a business from a company server, your phone will not work as it currently programmed to work.  What you have to do is to remove the policy from BES and get signed with BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) with a carrier of your choice.

You can remove the BES policy by reading this article:

(You'll use the method number 3 in this article.)

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can use any Pearl 8100 phone with any service provider?

I lost my phone and had an AT & T service. I don't want to buy a new phone, check if what is for sale on Craigslist. Not all beads for sale are for AT & T, but the 8100 Series is supposed to be for the most part, suppliers... is that correct?

If you get the unlocked device it should work on any GSM carrier. Not all MOBILE carriers now offer BlackBerry data services, but you should at least be able to use it for calls and text messages.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not connect BlackBerry Pearl 9105 for PC

    Hello world

    I have the following problem:

After using my BB Pearl 9105 for almost 3 years, I can not connect to PC more (I still menu with choice of 3 options on my smartphone when I connect, but when I click on that option "usb" or "charge", the menu appears again).

In addition, the PC does not recognize my smartphone as a usb device. Updated BlackBerry Desktop Software and the purchase of the new Micro-USB cable did not help.

    I can still load.

Could anyone suggest me how to solve this problem?

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not access e-mail, internet or BBM

Hi, I think I have a problem similar to the previous posters... my mother gave me her blackberry tour when it improved and I had unlocked it (from a cell in Sasktachewan provider) so that I can use it for my move to Dubai.  In Canada, I was able to use the voice, SMS, email access and BBM... through FIDO.  I couldn't see any internet icon so I hadn't any data plan.   He paid for everything.

I had a working VISIT before and was able to access the voice, SMS, internet, BBM... that's the difference between enterprise blackberry (which I suppose is available only for companies) vs the Blackberry Services (Email or social networks) for personal use?

When I moved to Dubai, I pulled the FIDO sim card and got a (Yes... sim card "du").  Then, I paid for and activated my blackberry services (email / BBM) However, when I tried to configure my email account, I got an error "your device had a problem connecting to the server.  I tried pulling out the battery, to register using the Advanced Option, host of routing, register online at du.blackberry.com and when I try to register there, I get the message that says that my device cannot be registered and to try to register through the advanced options and if it does not contact my wireless provider.

A technical support person come back to me and said that my blackberry service is related to my previous provider wireless (FIDO) and I had to call FIDO to get the PIN out.  I did this and FIDO said that he has been released.

I tried to repeat the previous steps for registration / establishment of email and I still get the same errors.

Initially when I got the sim card, they have enabled a social account of blackberry for me and it wasn't what I wanted so they it disabled.  I wonder if somehow my camera is actually saved with, but in terms of bad... so that's why I can't access email / bbm service.

Thoughts?  I'm kind again on the whole cell phone thing and not a techie so please be explicit.

    Thank you!

You can, but with a fresh incident support of approximately $49US by.

Otherwise, your mobile operator with which service you should intensify your call to support technical level RIM.

The 9630 is not okay to operate on, without some configuration real depth and even then it may not work well. You will need to follow the directions in the initial post of this thread linked below, and instead of Tmobile or ATT, you're going to need service books for the.  It's not easy.

My best advice... because I've done this before... is to get a non-CDMA device that works perfectly on, as a model 9700 or 9780 or 9900. Not the 9630, 9650 models.

  • "iPhone is disabled, connect to iTunes" AND "iTunes can not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a password" error message on the phone and the computer! Help!

So I recently had my password wrong too many times and my iPhone 4S locked out telling me "iPhone is disabled; Connect to iTunes'. And so I connected to iTunes and decided to restore my phone. I finished the process of restoration of the configuration of my phone, but ultimately, it was not even let me in the phone! Once AGAIN he said "iPhone is disabled; " Connect " to iTunes '. However, this time, this message appeared just when I turned on my phone with a black background. I didn't scan the screen for the error message is displayed (and there was no time to be shown). When I tried to connect to iTunes again as he asked, now it says "iTunes can not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a password".

So now, he said "iPhone is disabled; ' Connect to iTunes' on my iPhone 4S and ''iTunes can't connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a password ' on my computer. WHAT should I do?

As described in step 2 of "Erase your device with iTunes" in this article, you will need to use the Recovery Mode.

Recovery mode is described in this article as well.  You may try to go into recovery mode more than once to succeed.

  • Is it possible that someone from Apple can activate my IPhone 5 c, when the lock screen, says "disabled: connect to iTunes?

So I changed my password, took a NAP, and when I woke up, I couldn't remember the password. So now, my phone says "disabled: connect to iTunes '. Is it possible that someone from Apple can activate my phone (preferably without restoring to the factory)?

Once disabled, it cannot be re-enabled in the restaurant if you plant.

An Apple Store can do for you. but you can also just connect to a computer running iTunes and do it yourself.

No matter how you do it, it will be restored.

  • How can I save my photos if my phone says "disabled: connect to iTunes?

Good if I changed my password yesterday, so I took a NAP. When I woke up, I couldn't remember what I had changed to. I tried so many times that the lock screen finally said "disable: connect to iTunes '. Also, I have not saved my phone in forever. In fact, I don't think I ever. (I already have an iTunes account, before get me my phone, because I also have an iPad). in any case, is there anything that I can save all my pictures and videos until I factory reset my phone? I really don't want to lose everything (over 4,000) of my videos and pictures. Honestly, I'm really disappointed because it has more than 100 photos and videos of my dog.

I'm sorry, but unless you have a backup, or were you synchronize your photos to iCloud, they are lost. Why wouldn't bringing photos to the computer if you had that much? If these pictures are so important, why they were saved not somewhere other than a mobile device? Once the device is disabled, then you lose everything. At this point, your only choice is to restore the unit to the factory to restore access. This removes all the content.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can I use 'Cards' with WiFi (in Europe) without incurring data charges?

Hertz offers a mobile WiFi with a rental vehicle, and I wonder if I can use 'Maps' through this system?  I should ensure that network connections are turned off?  Appreciate any expertise on this one.

You will experience free of charge as long as you are on free wifi at all times. When I was in europe, my 'data roaming' option has been set off. I wouldn't use all data unless I was connected to a hotspot wifi somewhere, which are very common in Europe.

To trigger data roaming services, open up your settings. Go to network connections > Mobile network. You can activate or deactivate your mobile network disabled if you do not use your phone while that in Europe or left running up to you, but for data, use the drop-down list option and set it to the off position. In this way it will not use data on any mobile network and so only when using WiFi.

Okay... but in order to solve this and do what, whether you still need a fully charged battery. How to get yours... but you have to do, and you can do when trying to load in the BB.

All operating systems are released by the carriers. Model number any carrier what OS can be used in any device, as long as it's for the exact same. Indeed, it is that deletion of the SELLER. XML files doesn't work - causes Setup to bypass validation the carrier of the source of the operating system against the carrier allocated to the device.

Even if you bought directly from BlackBerry, it will still be originally were for a specific carrier. All BBs have a unchanging VendorID value, which indicates the carrier for which the device was built into their firmware. Even a BB unlocked, which can then be used on any compatible media, retains this original VendorID. And it is in fact only VendorID which is checked against the SELLER. XML files in the operating system package - removing the SELLER. XML files allows to bypass this check, allowing you to use any carriers OS package.

Now that you understand the process, you know how to proceed. Choose from companies that take charge of your model, the operating system package you want.

    Hello docvish,

    Welcome to the community,

As the PC or laptop requires the restart of our smartphone require also restarts to remove slow, whenever you feel any unusual just give a battery pull reboot I have; e while the unit is on the battery wait a min. then reinsert it wait until it restarts. You can also give a soft reboot by pressing alt + Shift R (aA ^) + DELETE.

Also avoid any applications running in the background, press on and hold Menu button for a few seconds, it will appear a screen showing running applications or that are still open., remember always to get out of the applications not only to return the key. Try if solves your problem, or alternatively you can visit any Center of Blackberry service to the issue.
