Using the API to connect and create the user
I currently have only the trial for Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro, but I saw on another debate that I should have the full functionality of the API. I have problems with the record as an administrator and creating a user. My response xml does not match what the documentation says I should get. When I try to log in I get status code = 'ok', but when I try to create a new user I have status not available to the code. However, this user is an administrator.
Call the #1:

Looks like you do things out of order. You should start with the login call (#2) and then use the common-info call (#1) to get your session cookie id. It may be that you are using an invalid session cookie on before you connected.
In addition, you have a lot of extra things to your calls. You don't need the field = value xxx. Clearly explained in the documentation here (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/connect/9.0/webservices/WS5b3ccc516d4fbf351e63e3d11a171ddf77-7 ff5_SP1.html).

I'll try to ask this question clearly, but I ask that read you it carefully, because I can't do a great job of setting out clearly what I'm looking for.
I know how to create a virtual disk in a batch file or a script. I know how to have a running virtual machine to detect a newly added hard drive and format it in Linux, BACK, and NetWare. I do not have scripted this part, but I did it manually by adding records via the UI and then by doing the steps manually to make the operating system to detect and format the newly added drive. In each case, these steps are scriptable with the exception of the addition of the drive in the user interface.
The only way I know to add a new hard disk to a virtual computer running is through the user interface. I don't know in a way that can contain script (for example vmrun or an API call) to make.
I guess that maybe I can have the virtual machine to go into sleep mode and then add the HDD in the vmx file while the machine is in standby mode, then put the computer to sleep mode, although I have not tested this.
My question is, ' can a virtual drive be added to a virtual machine running without using the user interface and without put the machine to sleep, or in other words in a script any?

How to use the user with event loop event
Hello
I want to communicate between 2 VI, so I have a global variable (boolean) who gives the order to an event tool to run. The problem comes from the fact that event loop accepts no global variable, I found on the forum that I can use the user event. Of course, the second VI works normally when I push the button (boolean) in there to run the event loop. Please can someone explain me how to do this, I am a chemist.
Thank you.
You enter the receiver structure of event for the event you want to receive.
To do this in two screws, you will have to share the user between them event reference.

Just ran the April updates on Windows XP.
Restarted, connected (connection to the normal domain but with no controllers available as domain is no longer in use and I don't want to mess with the settings of the user account).
Very slow to build office, took several minutes just to display the wallpaper, then icons took a minute or two each to paint. Systray icons present but being not properly painted, taskbar autohide as expected, some startup app dialog boxes appeared as expected, but very slowly, still failed to see start/programs, too slow to do anything.Have not tried any uninstall or safe mode start-up etc. as hoping that someone already know possible cause and there are so many updates to eliminate this time!
Any suggestions pls?Update - good news, seems to have fixed the
After having tried to disable ZoneAlarms (never refreshed dialogue), disconnect from the network and disconnection (zclient termination necessary), log in as an administrator and seeing office paint normally (and ZA does not seem to have been disabled), logout, then again as a user and see an empty office for long hours that had to be reset , the next reboot and the connection seems to be functioning normally. Just a waste of time that meant machine didn't get used for a day and night I waited things.
Guess I'd better try the update on my other machines now. -

Hi CPR1,.
Sorry for the late reply (I probably missed the system message), yes I asked the support of oracle and got the answer: KM for HFM 11.1.2.4 module is no longer supported. If I can choose only to customize the interface using the JAVA API or use FDMEE.
Thanks for all the help, but it seems using ODI to load the data in HFM version 11.1.2.4 + will is no longer supported.

SRP547w - change the default IP address and create additional users
Hello
Ive changed the IP address of your laptop to connect to the router with IP 192.168.15.1 but I want to now change the IP address of the router to the defaul to another subnet, while it is accessible with other workstations on the LAN, but I couldn't find the option to set the Ip address of the router.
I am connected with the admin user.
Could someone make me to know the options menu to make this please?
I also wanted to add users from addiontal. Aid indicates there is a user list option Add an entry, but in the bar of the Administration, the left menu option displays options to user management & user privileges. Management of users, it is possible to change the user 2 default names, but I wanted to lift them and create new ones.
Is someone could also let me know how to add new users?
Thank you
Hi Jeff,
You can change the IP address of the router / subnet by changing the settings of DHCP server (Interface > LAN > DHCP server).
There are only two user levels that can be configured on the SRP500 - as you have noticed, you can change these names, but not to add to the list.
Kind regards
Andy

Connect on Worklist Application using the user no AD (weblogic)
Hi all
I configured Active Directory to my Weblogic Server. Also all of my AD users are able to acess my BPEL worklist application.
However, no AD users including weblogic (set to the default authenticator) are not able to access the application of worklist BPEL, where as weblogic user can always log on Console and EM.
So I need to make Administarative activities in my BPEL worklist application, weblogic user connects in worklist BPEL as an administrator application.
This is possible by creating Administrators group on Active Directory and the assignment of weblogic user to this group.
Y at - there any otherway to do because I don't want to create a user of weblogic as the part of the Administrators group in Active Directory.
Please suggest, little urgently.
Concerning
Jean sebastienHello
Please see this post below and it should answer your problem.WebLogic administrator account is inactive after activating the authenticator DB
Thank you

RDP for the CSA MC using the user state
I'm trying to activate an administrator remote access to the MC via RDP. The rule is triggered, which denies this action is #262. Is there a way to allow access to the box based on user RDP State? I need what the admin group is part of a DHCP pool so I can't nail down to just its address. Documentation is not very clear in the application of States of the user.
Sorry for the long answer... I hope this helps...
YES, it is absolutely possible to do. Let's say your MC is in a group called "MC CSA Group. In this group, you have implemented policies. Beside policies are your rule failet etc... So what you need is to create a new strategy (set it to Windows or Linux, if necessary). You then create a new 'Module of rule' that you attach to the new policy that you just created. When you create the new rule Module, you'll see an article that says "steady-state". Select the option "apply this rule module if the following status conditions are met:" click the checkbox beside of "user state:". "» Selection in the State of the user list, click on 'NEW '. Here, you will need to create a user state based on what you want to be able to RDP to the CSA MC. give the new user to the user a state name. Here you have the choice, you can create a specific user (i.e. If only a domain user id must have access), or you can use a domain or Local Group. (I.e. If the Domain Admins need to access the CSA MC to the RDP). Allows that you want to use the group Active directory 'Domain Admins '... "The corresponding to groups" enter the EXACT name of the domain group (Ex: MYDOMAIN\MYGROUP). Click Save. Select the new status for the user, and then save the new rule module. Assign the new rule module to the new policy and implement the new strategy of the Group CSA MC. Finally, you need to navigate the new rule module that you created and add a NETWORK access CONTROL RULE. Create an allow rule that will allow the termsrv.exe as server TCP/3389. No matter what host (you said they were on DHCP. I recommend to create a specific DHCP scope for users, so you can lock it the most). Save the rule and generate.

trying to get used to sql * more running and creating a simple procedure
Hello all;
I'm getting used to sql * more after using for a while using pl/sql developer.
I am trying to create a simple procedure and run it. See my procedure below
and then I type in run hr.test ("J", 10); to run this and then press ENTER, and it does nothing. How can I run and create a simple procedure in sql * morecreate or replace procedure test(t in varchar2(200), limit in number(30)) begin select tbl_report.id from tbl_report where tbl_report.id like '|| t ||%' and rownum <= limit; end test;
Hello
In addition to all the good points, others have done:
When you issue a SELECT statement in SQL * Plus (or any other front end) two things happen:
(1) a result set, containing the results of your query, is produced, and
(2) this result set is displayed.
Given that these two things are always done together, it is easy to forget that they are two different things.
In PL/SQL, you must explicitly do something to catch the result set, and you must explicitly do something else to view it (if you want to display it).A simple way to get the result set is to use a cursor FOR loop, to extract a line at a time and run code with this line in a record variable (called the country in the example below).
View the results is to call dbms_output.put_line.Here is an example:
CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE test ( t IN VARCHAR2 , lmt IN NUMBER -- LIMIT is an Oracle keyword; best not to use it as a variable name ) IS BEGIN FOR country IN ( SELECT country_name FROM hr.countries WHERE country_name LIKE t || '%' AND ROWNUM <= lmt ) LOOP dbms_output.put_line ( country.country_name || ' = country_name' ); END LOOP; END test; / SHOW ERRORS
You can use variables, such as t and lmt, in the query without using dynamic SQL, as long as the variables do not have the same names as the columns in the table. In this case, t and lmt are good names; country_name or region_id wouldn't. (In fact, t is a reputable insofar as it cannot be confused with a column in the table of the country. T is not a good reputation in the sense that it does not give much information about what contains the variable, or how it is used. Why not call the variable target_name or name_a_trouver?
You can run the SQL procedure * more like this:
SET SERVEROUTPUT ON EXEC test ('I', 2);
If you issue the SET SERVEROUTPUT ON command, then you will not see the output of dbms_output. You must only issue the command SET SERVEROUTPUT ON once per session, but nothing bad happens if you do it more than once.
When I ran the procedure as stated above, I got this output:
Israel = country_name India = country_name
Notice that "The Italy" does not appear, because lmt has 2.
Do not create your own procedures, tables or other objects in the HR schema, or among all the other patterns created by Oracle. Create your own schema and create procedures and other objects in it.

Ask local users and creates local users

I know how to extract a list of users with permissions to the host.
My $userAccounts = $authorizationMgr-> RetrieveAllPermissions;

Print STDERR $_-> name. ») \n » ;
}

}
}
}But it is possible for an account to be included in the local users and groups, but not have any assigned permissions.
Does anyone know how query if the local account exist? In vSphere Client when connected directly to a host of local users and groups tab displays this info, I am lookling access in Perl.

To list the users, you must use the managed object userDirectory rather http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-51/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.vmware.wssdk.apiref.doc%2Fvim.UserDirectory.html and use RetrieveUserGroups
Joint a quick example is called listUsers.pl
VI-admin@vMA51:~ >./listUsers.pl--vesxi51-1--username root of the server
Enter the password:
Name: administrator
Group: 0
Main: rootName: DCUI user
Group: 0
Main: dcuiName: Account administration VMware VirtualCenter
Group: 0
Main: vpxuserName: ESXi user
Group: 0
Main: vslauserName: william
Group: 0
Principal: williamFor your CreateUser() method, you do not pass in the type of such expect property indicated in the reference on the http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-51/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.vmware.wssdk.apiref.doc%2Fvim.host.LocalAccountManager.AccountSpecification.html API, which is a HostAccountSpec of vSphere
It should be:
My $userSpec = HostAccountSpec-> new (id-online 'Inventory2', password-online "aBc! 56hh", description =>"Inventory2");
$accountManager-> CreateUser (user-online $userSpec);
The QAnywhere vSphere is your friend
