  The site also contains photos and I would like users to be able to click on the photos (which are the buttons) and have the combobox control

  So, if the options in the drop-down list are "oranges, apples, pears, cherries" and the images are the same fruit.

  then by clicking on a picture of a fruit (say "cherriesBtn") would set the drop-down list for this option box.

  I played a little and I read the help - searched the net but no joy so far.

  All gurus like to help them with what I imagine, it's a fairly simple thing?

  I have a second holiday table that uses the country LOV to choose the country for which

  What I have to do is to stop the user to select a value from the LOV country

  OK, this will be much better than just having it scattered randomly in the list.

  What you want to do is to create another view (to the same instance of VO) accessor, this time in your entity object. For this class accessor, you include a named view criteria (change the accessor for that) which limit the selection that the entries 'selectable '. Then, set a validation rule 'List' to the entity object attribute target, select 'In', 'View attribute accessor', and your display accessor and the attribute. Given that the VO attribute uses the more general accessor, which will determine what appears in the LOV, but an attempt to choose something that is not in the narrow view accessor will send a validation error.

  I tried the following on a machine not that different to yours and it seems to work.

  First, download the Synaptics driver on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp63001-63500/sp63417.exe

  Disable your wireless card (should be f12).

  Open Control Panel, open programs and features, right click on the Synaptics driver and select uninstall.

  When you are done, reboot the laptop.

  When windows has reloaded, open your Downloads folder and launch the installer of Synaptics - when this is complete, restart the computer again.

  Open the Synaptics settings panel, disable SmartSense, then check if the touchpad works now with a key on the keyboard is pressed.

  If so, turn on your wireless card and use the utility on the following link to prevent Windows 10 to update automatically the Synaptics driver.

  You can also ensure that the delete button is always visible by showing it on the Quick Access toolbar at the top of the window. There is a drop-down menu at the right end of the QUICK access with the controls bar, and others can be added by right-clicking on any command on the Ribbon and select Add to quick access toolbar.
