Using the map generator house numbers

Hello world!

I use Oracle card Builder (ver. 11.1.1.0.0) in order to obtain the numbers of the houses along the streets, using 20% and 80% of offset along the axis of the street for the 'from' and 'to' numbering respectively and 20% and -20% of baseline shift of the axis Street for both sides of the street, respectively.

My understanding up to now, I am able to do this by using the arrow on the Style Option of global line, where I have to choose a marker Style for which I would set the X and Y Offset settings in the Option Style of text marker, while the symbol of the marker would have an opacity of 0% , because I do not want any symbol drawn with my house numbers.

Because I think it's a bit silly to use a Style of marker for this reason because of its offset options, is it possible to do the same thing using a text Style (where the offset options seem to be inactive)?

Good point, but for now the marker option is the way to do what you want.

I can see the value of the property in the label, but you see is not the text in the map sharing

To get the function in a worksheet type '=' in the cell, you want the formula and type "pv", press return. Provide values for each of the arguments of the functions. Have not used the service myself so that's all I have for you. Good luck!

I got the table that I need, using the SAP reverse engineering metadata browser. When I register, what I see is just a feature called "DPS for Mac app Builder" and it is disabled.

The online app generator is not for iOS apps. There is no way around this restriction for iOS. You must use a Mac to create the application, although the content itself can be created under Windows.

I saw a few shops use the same Oracle_home to Multiple Instances of the database...

Basically, they install binaries 11G or 10G once for example: /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2

For the following database facilities they do not install the binaries... they just point the new home of the oracle database to what they currently have...

for example

cat/etc/oratab

newdb:/U01/app/Oracle/product/10.2

So I was wondering if someone could give me the right steps to do this or a metalink note...

You cannot create a database without using the binaries already installed in an ORACLE_HOME. However, all THE databases are created in an existing OH. No matter if you have one or a hundred ORACLE_HOMEs, the procedure is the same:

1 - set ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_SID and path suitable for the new db. Of course, if you only have a single ORACLE_HOME, you would choose it. If you have more than one, you choose the one you think is appropriate for this new db.

2. create the db. You can use dbca, or connect to an idle instance and run scripts that you saved for this purpose. DBCA is a very good and very practical tool, but is not required. It's use is come with a few caveats.

3 - update the oratab accordingly, if you wish (I always thought). Do you understand how and when oratab is used, and why I say update ' If you see is '?

How can I disable the Google Maps message "Google has disabled the use of maps API for this application? This as Microsoft tries to crush Netscape?

In the last day or two (8 August 2012) each time I start Firefox (14.01.01) I get a pop up that says "Google has disabled using the maps API for this application. He directs me to Google Maps terms & Conditions, but does not provide a solution to disable the pop up. I tried to disable Google Maps as an Add on Firefox, but still not the context menu.
It is easy to fix the problem or is this an attempt by Google to force me to Chrome, much like trying to crush Netscape in favour of Microsoft's Internet Explorer?

I thought about it. It is not the browser itself. It happened that I had two pages that open when I started the browser (at home and at work) and it was one of them who had a Google map. They have had to fix their Web site.

#VALUE in Excel for a formula that uses a missing cell with the function generator

When I use the function generator to retrieve data of HFM in Excel, I have a problem with the formulas using these data when it is absent.

If I didn't put in the #nodata / replacement of labels missing, then SmartView puts ' "in the cell, which causes an error if I try to summarize with something else (= '" + 1,234.56 returns #VALUE).

SmartView let me use me replacement value of 0... I have found a workaround using of.0 as the replacement value, but I guess there is probably a more elegant way to solve this problem.

Let me know if you have an idea.
