in my first slide I text entry areas for

1 user name

2. name of the superior

3. the e-mail of the superior court

Let's say that: 1. refer to varialbe V_UserN

2. refer to V_sup

3 see V_emailS

next slide would be a video

next slide would be a text entry or a text box... It is where the user writes anything

With the button "submit" text entry box

What I want in this text entry box is... If the user does not write any what upone by clicking on the button submit, the interaction would be 'please write a review on the text box. If the user write something the thing, the Send button run continue.

How can I do this?

next slide would be an input text field or a text box... in which the user write something on the issue (this isn't a slide of questionnaire). The message would be sent to the email of superiors. How can I do this?

hope you can help me.

Thank you

To check if the user didn't write anything, you will have to compare the value of the associated variable of the TEB or text box with a v_null user variable. You must create this user variable and simply leave it blank.

Take a look at my blog:

Where is no good?

You create the custom with standard objects question slide. There is a widget mail included with Captivate, but did not try if you can insert the value of a variable by an email address.

  • Writeback - change the size of the text area displayed

    Hello
I use writing in OBIEE 10. I know, we can define the size of the input area in ways that no one will be able to add more text than allowed. But even if I am to welcome 2000 characters the text box is displayed as a single line entry box.
Is it possible to change the size of the text area displayed in particular to allow more than a single line?
    Thank you

    Hey,.

You will need somehow to hack the CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) OBI when writeback (see table) is present instead of a HTML text box item, display a TEXTAREA HTML element. Currently, there is no other way to achieve this.

You can read more about HTML input types here,
    http://www.w3schools.com/HTML/html_forms.asp
    and
play with an example of a TEXTAREA HTML element here, http://www.w3schools.com/html/showit.asp?filename=tryhtml_textarea

on paint it willnt allow to use the text why

    Hi logannill,

What version of windows are you using?

You can add text to pictures using paint, you can follow the steps below

    1. open MS Paint your current photo.

    2. find the area where you want to add text.

    3. Select the text tool, represented by the letter A, in the box to tools on your left.

    4. position the cursor on the location where you want the text to start.

    5. Select the font style and size of the help box that appears when you select the tool.

    6. start to type. You will see the text added during typing. It is a good indicator of how it will look when you are done.

    7. click outside of it, and it will be fixed on your photo. If the spacing, size or placement is not quite right, scrap it and start again by selecting 'Cancel' in the Edit menu, and then restart the process again

My paintings have 3 fields, the last field, I put the text area field. When I run the page, the third area has more height. When I try to decrease by dragging the mouse pointer. I can't lower the height.

The height can be set using CSS. Use a web inspector to search rules CSS applied to the text box.

Is it possible for a panoramic image using the text tool, I know you can use the Alt key in Illustrator, but it doesn't seem to be an option in Photoshop.

    Hello

On a Mac, while the cursor is in a text box, you will need to hit: Shift + Option + command + SPACEBAR.

Who holds the key 4. I guess you can map it in Photoshop keyboard shortcode preferences.

  • PS elements 11 cannot use the text function. Error message could not initialize the text.

When I try to use the text function the letters do not appear. Text feature appears frozen. Get the error message - unable to initialize the text.

Recently PSE11 uninstalled and reinstalled. Downloaded 2 Google font. Was able to use the text function with Google fonts with no problems. Two days later, attempted to work with the text function and the typed letters appear on the screen/layer. Tried to add the text with fonts pre-installed PS - still once, no text appeared. Impossible to set up a text box. How can I fix it? Thank you

Suggest that you reset the text tool, that only he can fix.

I believe in PSEv.11, there is a small arrow, top of the page to the left on the tool options bar. Click on this.

If the arrow is not there, look in the options bar to the text tool, on the right, for a box with lines inside. Adobe changed the location and icon in later versions of the program.

  • The present no embedded fonts in scanned documents containing plain text are not get converted fonts incorporated after OCR applied. But the texts are searchable. The text even unincorporated font that is formatted as text (not scanned) become stupid

The present no embedded fonts in scanned documents containing plain text are not get converted fonts incorporated after OCR applied. But the texts are searchable. Even fonts not embedded text that is formatted as text (not digital) are themselves converted to fonts embedded by adobe distiller.

    Fix. Expected behavior.

Output of the OCR is not incorporated. With Acrobat Pro, a preflight check is available to embed the fonts.

On the use of Distiller - using a work option distill configured appropriately that the PDF created from the authoring application (FrameMaker, InDesign, MS Word, etc.) will have embedded fonts.

  • seems to pale, as dark instead of the dark gray text using the text tool

Why the text entered using the text tool seems pale? The color is not a clear black, as in Microsoft Word or any other processor.

    Amir Lev wrote:

I played with the options that people have suggested and finally managed them to draw text in 'black' and 'recording' and see the difference when "Proof colors" is selected. It seems that it is simply the way that InDesign draw text on screen, which is certainly less sharp than Microsoft Word (if I'm wrong, I'll be happy to know).

Thank you all for helping me. This forum is great.

You should NEVER use the 'Registration' color for what what is content in InDesign. No text, no box. Black Black Dungeon. If you create print then work in CMYK and use the [Black] in square brackets because it will be default overprint.

That InDesign is less strong, I never have heart or seen, but how to crisp your policy comes, depends on your settings personal screen in Acrobat. Most never will send you an INDD open to your client or printer, but always a PDF exported, how it looks in InDesign to format PDF is not important. And you should avoid the use of transparency above the text, because this could rasterize text (and also of the vectors) which will not look so crisp as if the text (and vectors) may be vectors for the output.

  • situation in PS CC incredible error by using the text tool

Everything was fine. Yesterday I wanted to use type tool. I have attached a page 1

    ps cc foto resp1.PNG

and who's going to see. As you can see the new file was created using the default values of the PS, I created a po box and then all goes completely to H * ll. I've included the display of characters so you can see what I was trying to do.

First the cursor is WAY WAY over THE BOX, I had defined 24pt type size, "BOLD", and you can see he's just crazy. There is nothing I can do. So, I tried just using the text tool to add a type. Same thing. #2 of screenshottype tool 2.PNG

Watch that. So I opened PS CS6 and everything works as expected.

Something happened to the PS CC.

you set it up to print 37pt above the line so this is what it does

you only have a single 37pt so that easy to find

  • In CS2 program error: "could not use the text because of a program error."

Yesterday when using the text tool, I kept getting the message "Could not use the text tool because of a program error". Today I still get this message and the same message when I try to change the size of the image. There is no information on what the program error is - all advice?

This can be caused by a corrupt police.

If you are on a Mac, FontBook open, select all (Cmd + A) fonts, file > validate font. Check fonts corrupted / invalid according to the results. Delete all corrupt fonts. Try using the text tool now.

If you are under Windows, use this: http://fix-fonts-folder.en.softonic.com/ or search for one of the many programs on Google font manager.

  • Problems using the text tool

    Hello

I am a bit newbie to Indesign, and I was just wondering if someone could help me. I have problems with the text tool.

I worked on my first rare documents, (postcards on 1 simple page), but when I come back to add some more text using the text tool it does not create the usual type frame/box and the cursor will just directly on the upper left side of the document? I don't know that I have to do something wrong.

My apologies if the answer is dead simple.

    See you soon

You probably have a rectangle as the background on your page? When you click anywhere on the rectangle with the text tool, it converts your bulk text rectangle and the insertion point jumps to the upper left corner of the frame.

It s a little annoying, but you can get rid of this feature of preferences, in the Type tab, there is a text check function tool converts frames for blocks of text (or something like that) just uncheck it... To change these rectangles accidentally converted to frames grapgic (select the rectangle and choose object > Content > graphic)

If Don t you want to stop using this feature, you can also draw your block of text off the page, you type text and it moves the right position

  • How to remove the text areas of a scanned document

How can I remove a plethora (sp?) of the text areas of a scanned document?

    Hello JBreeden,

More scanned documents cannot be changed, unless you have a software that can read digital information. The scanned document is just a picture of the item that you have scanned. You must have a software like OCR (optical character recognition) to be able to make changes to the digitized item.

    Thank you
