  I have just installed a printer software update that showed this morning (after that installation one last night that the site HP said was released about 4 days ago). No upgrade makes no difference. The accident occurred at least 12 times and in fact occurs regardless of what (if any) the settings change when I change the scan tasks. The problem seems to be just with the tasks scan editing interface.

  In addition to solving this problem so that I can scan a document of 8.5 x 11 (instead of only to get the section of 4 x 6 of the document, which is pretty useless), I also know if I can store the backup settings of scanned documents in PDF instead of JPEG and to specify another folder for the scans. I do not have to change these settings whenever I scan a doc. But first, I have to be able to scan a document to all!

  I am trying to add multiple languages to my project, using the location of the CVI GUI utility in LabWindows 2010.

  However when I try to load my file IUR in the utility, it crashes (as killed at Windows). The IUR was initially created using LabWindows 6 or earlier, however, it was brought and working in LabWindows 2010 for more than a year.

  Each time, it crashes and I can't continue my work. Is there anything I can try to make it work?

  Hi Chris,

  Take a look at the .uir that has been published, it seems that the error is the result of the check. If you remove the two elements that are in the tree control (so that nothing is in the tree control), save and then try to load the .uir in the UI localizer, it seems that the .uir can be recharged on the Locator of UI without error. Alternatively, if you let the elements but change control of chain type (char *) int, it seems to load without causing an error as well. I'll check to see if there is a known issue, but I hope that one of the two workarounds can be used for your application.

  I have two HP printers that I use a MacBook and travel with her. An I keep at home (a Photosmart C4180) and another (a Photosmart Premium C309g-m).

  I chat with a HP technician, and we tried different things, such as remove all printer drivers, check/repair disk permissions, restart the computer, uninstall/install the software, BUT STILL the problem persists, the only solution was to wait for a new software update... womp womp. >:\

  Details: Im trying to change the settings of the "Scan to Comp" shortcuts, specifically in the "Scan tasks" tab > Document to be filed, so im not able to customize the settings. See photo below.

  Sound too worthy to metion I downloaded the software from the HP "Photosmart-5510 - series_v12.14.0.dmg" and once I saw the crash, I uninstalled and redownloaded the software just to be sure, but still the same problem.

  The command utility set up does not support OptiPlex 745 and 755 in accordance with the manual in the installation directory. This is the main reason, I always use the old CCTK since we have several 745 and 755 in production.

  EtreCheck reports said that so-called SIMBL caused several accidents. So I got rid of this, by following the instructions on the site SIMBL.

  Here's the problem: even after all these efforts (and each variant reset, I could think of) troubleshooting, nothing has changed. My Mac always has exactly the symptoms you describe, upon awakening from sleep. Every time.

  In the end I just gave up and restored my iMac to its State, 4 days ago in a backup using Time Machine. (It took 12 hours). With Dropbox, I didn't lose all of the work I've done in the meantime. So, I am now running a stable El Capitan, with an understanding to why people wait a few months before installing the latest OS updates.

  Sorry I can't offer more useful troubleshooting options - but perhaps some things that did not help me could help you anyway? Thanks for posting: it seems that the Sierra has been a pretty smooth update for most people, so I guess we're just out of luck?

  Come to format this partition.

  Open disk utility (finder > applications > utilities > disk utility) then highlight the boot camp partition. Select clear.

  Start of recovery volume (command - R on a restart, or hold down the option/Alt during a restart and select the Volume of recovery). Run the check/repair disk utility and repair permissions until you get no error. Then re-install the operating system.
