VAIO Recovery Error Windows 7 332

Ive looked everywhere for answers, but have been unsuccessful so far. I have the recovery disks for my Sony Vaio VGN FW590F3B. The previous (Hitachi 7200 RPM 320 GB) hard drive has failed. Ive replaced it with a Western Digital 500 GB 5400 RPM. When in the Vaio Recovery Center, I select "full system restore. Whenever it fails almost immediately with a ' error: 332 "I have tried so many different configurations. I am able to restore the new disk from a disk in the Windows retail but I would rather the laptop to factory. Can someone please sat down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Steven,

332 error is related to the hard drive. If you want to update the hard disk, contact the team behind the scenes of Sony:

A recent hardware or software change might be the cause for the problem:

    1. Insert your windows installation DVD and restart.

    2. choose the language settings, click Next

    3. click on repair your computer

    Start the reboot system (recommended)

    Start Windows normally

The two options to return to the same screen.

I tried the menu under the F keys, but all options listed do not seem to do anything.  I talked to Dell who ran a diagnostic test on the portable equipment and everything was ok.  They wanted then £70 the issue above which I am unhappy that have not had the laptop for a year yet!

    Hello mtb123,

    1. have you tried the steps suggested by Srinivas R in the previous post to make a startup on your computer repair using the Windows installation disc?

    2. you remember what changes you made to the computer before you start this error?

I suggest that you access the system recovery options using a Windows Vista installation disc and do a startup repair and if this fails, you can do a restore of the system from the Windows recovery environment.

You can see the previous post of Srinivas R to verify the information on the system restore.

  • Recovery disks won't be finished reinstalling attract the Windows recovery error

I have a HP pc only to return some malware a few weeks. Tried to remove it and restart got the Startup Repair. Who ran, but received a message that the problem could not be resolved automatically. Tried several times but without success.

Then I tried the system restore, which seemed to work. It should restart the process and I got a screen that says Windows Recovery error. Gave me a few options but also safe mode start Windows normally. If so start normally, just screen becomes black and hangs there. I tried in safe mode, a list of drivers starts, then stops at crcdisk.sys and I get a box that says that I can't get into safe mode because Windows has not finished the installation.

Then I tried the HP recovery disks to restore the factory settings. Crossed reinstall it without problems and clicked on Finish to reboot and continue. It goes through the process some, restarts a few times and the final reboot immediately comes the same Windows error recovery screen. I tried several times and made sure the only cool things are the monitor, the keyboard, the mouse and the cord. I also tried to remove one of the memory two sticks and the sound card that is not the original. Memory sticks are original.

I thought it was the failure of hard drive and bought a new one last nite and was installed. Ran the recovery disks appeared once again, as he worked but got the same error Windows Recovery screen after a reboot.

Any ideas of what I can do? I can't go in safe mode at all.

    Thank you!

Edit - I forgot to mention that I have managed to get into the manufacturers menu and delete the original hard drive and tried to do the reinstall, but got the same error.

Fixed it got! Found the answer in another thread here. It's a problem witht Nvidia Geforce card I have and the DVI output. Think an update or something hit malware but all I had to do was remove the video card, plug a VGA instead of DVI cable and I was able to complete reinstall it! Everything works except the sound now. Trying to get that fixed and reinstall the video card later today.

  • Windows Recovery error screen: cannot get my computer to start!

After using my computer for a long period of time, I set it down for a few hours. When I put it up again, the screen was blank and I couldn't get out of hibernation. I manually turned off and restarted. Reboot, I had the Windows recovery error screen, where I was given the opportunity to 'launch Startup Repair' or 'start windows normally '. At the launch of the repair, the screen empties for a few seconds and returns to the error page. When you try to start windows normally, the system rebooted and returned to the error page. I did nothing durastic which would result in this error. Windows was preinstalled and came with any disks. How can I fix my computer and recover my files? My computer is a laptop Gateway MD.

Have you tried from disk running of all of the above programs.  Of course, some of them managed from the disk as the Startup Repair and system restore.  Others such as SFC and chkdsk or event viewer can be run from the disk by using the command line option (and instructions above on orders to enter).

Startup Repair and system restore has nothing to help?  Try these other options from the command prompt on the drive if you can't even in Mode safe (which is not a good sign).

    Good luck!

    Hello

This process will allow you to do a Vista repair disc. This isn't an installation disc, but will allow you to use the Vista Recovery Console that is available on commercial versions of Vista.

Download the file from the link below.

    Vista 64-bit

It is a zipped file.  If you do not have an extraction utility installed, download and install 7-Zip, when installed, right-click on the zipped folder, select extract files and then click Ok.  You should now see another folder containing the ISO file.

You will need software to burn the ISO to a CD.  If you don't have that guy on the software installed, download and install ImgBurn and use it to burn the ISO to a CD.

Once you have created the Vista repair disk, follow the guide on the link below to see if it undertakes to repair your installation - you may need to run this several times.

  • Problem adding network printers; received this message error «Windows cannot connect to the printer or the name of the printer...» »

    Hello

I have a Windows XP pro (Lenovo) that I recently ran the recovery and returned to certain configurations of 1.5 years. Now I can't add a network printer and get always the message error «Windows cannot connect to the printer or the name of the printer...» ». I ping the printer and all on my network can add these printers, it's just that a machine that fails to add network printers.

I disabled the firewall, but were still unable to add the printer. Then I found some difficulties to register for a similar problem, but they were not useful... It really becomes a big headache, especially Windows restore does not work...

I strongly suspect that 1.5 years, someone has renamed the printer.  Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the print server through My Network Places and see what it's callednow .  Otherwise, you could ask your network/system administrator.  You should know... • Recovery of Windows 8 stopped at "select the driver to install '?

Ugh! After a week of not start & on phone or online in several forums and playing with the page of the BIOS, the drive just place & began to start! Yay!

Now, during the "collecting information" part 1, after being in the language, I will wonder "select the driver to install."

  • Model number:-n010TX: recovery of windows media 8

    Mr President.

I had my HP laptop pavilion in November 2013. It came with 8 pre-installed windows. I upgraded Windows 8.1 by March, 2014 and it worked fine for a few weeks, after which, the laptop has detected a hardware failure. I had a HP technician install a pirated windows 8 on my pc and it also gave me a series of DVDs of recovery for windows 8 to be used on a HP or compaq PC.

It is a set of 3 DVDs 'system recovery' and 1 DVD "valorization of the pilot. The problem starts when I insert the first DVD of system recovery. He didn't autolay not. I checked with control panel and made sure that the "Use AutoPlay for all media and devices" option is checked. But autopsies shows two options: -.

1 open the folder to view the files, and

    2. don't do anything.

Now, on the DVD it says: "insert the disk and follow the instructions on the screen. But there is no on-screen instructions.

I opened the folder and it contains a lot of files with names that I don't understand. Please let me know how I can get the DVD to play automatically.

    Thank you

  • The new use of recovery of Windows XP with my q Satellite Pro P300-19?

I just bought a Satellite Pro P300-19 q with Vista pre-installed. I want to use Windows XP Professional instead and understand that I must use the DVD titled "Product development - Microsoft Windows XP Professional" supplied with the machine. To do this, however, the provided information sheet is not very useful when he says only: «you will have to load this...» »

My question is: How do I do it from running the disc in the DVD player, just reveals several files which none will get me nowhere?

    Any help would be welcome.

The recovery of Windows XP product disc contains an image of a Windows XP installation ready with all the drivers and tools.

Before installing Windows XP, you should burn the Vista recovery disk because if you want to restore Windows Vista you will need this disc. So, you can restore the computer back to wherever it was when you originally received.
So far as the recovery image (Vista) is only stored on the HARD drive and so you can burn it to a DVD:
Click on the Toshiba recovery disc creator and insert a blank DVD. Then follow the instructions on the screen. The recovery disk will be created.
You are now able to boot from this DVD and install Vista with all the drivers and tools (factory settings).

When you reinstall Windows with a recovery disk, the HARD disk will be reformatted and all data will be lost. This means that as other partitions so backup your data first.

If you are using Vista it s also able to restore the factory since the HARD drive settings. Therefore, the files are stored in the folder HDDRecovery.
So, if you want to put your mobile PC, press F8. Then you can see the menu and there advanced boot options, select repair your computer.
Follow the instructions on the screen and the laptop will also reinstall.
But don't forget, this (HARD disk recovery) feature is only available with Vista, not XP.

So if you understand this and burned the Vista recovery disk, you can start to install Windows XP.
Boot from the XP Recovery disk and follow the instructions on the screen. The installation of Windows XP does not have a lot of time and this procedure is similar to Vista. After installation you also have an installation with all drivers and Toshiba tools but with Windows XP of course.
This is the content of the Windows XP Recovery disk.
