  Here are the different ways to reinstall Vista

  Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

  they do it for a nominal cost of $

  also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

  you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

  Ask them of the exact key sequence

  or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

  Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

  they contain all versions of vista

  Check with the manufacturer of system or component for the updated drivers. If none are available, remove or turn off the unit and check the behavior.  Contact the manufacturer / system device to make them aware of the problem so that they can hopefully fix in a future update.

  Your sister has already exhausted the allotment of the trial so that the machine when it has installed and used the trial.  You don't get a second chance with the same machine.  The duration of the trial is not considered for the duration of subscription use.  What you might not be aware of, is that you normally are not only subscribe for a month... you can pay for a month, but it is usually part of a one year subscription, for which you are responsible and cannot drop without penalty after the 14 day period.  There is an option to get a subscription per month for a higher cost, so be careful what plan you choose if you don't know that you can find both within 14 days to try out the software.

  You can open the Adobe Creative cloud application and go to the "' Apps'" tab at the top and that shows the days left in addition to each CC asked with days left for the trial expire. Also whenever you restart your computer and run any application CC it also shows the page pop up with days left for the trial expire.

  Recently, I bought a subscription to creative cloud which, from my understanding, gave me access to a number of applications for the duration of my subscription.

  Yet, when I install them, I have a "days left" in the drop down CC and also on the launch of the app, and they seem to be classified as a demonstration only.

  Am I missing something here?

  It seems that you state that you have a trial version of the installed version of perpetual license of Lightroom 5. Subscribe to the creative cloud PS CC package and Lightroom will not activate this version. Try the following.

  1. Uninstall Lightroom using the system of NORMAL uninstall process. This will not affect your existing catalog and user files and but will just delete the Lightroom Application.

  2. restart your computer.

  3. open the Application Adobe Creative cloud Manager and it should give you the option to download the latest installation package 5 Lightroom. Continue to download and install this version and it should be activated automatically, no obligation to enter any key license as perpetual license version. It will automatically link your existing catalog etc files.
