• Valid question, no sim unlock blackBerry smartphones on Curve 8520

  Hello everyone would be grateful for any advice. I just finished the contract with Orange in the United Kingdom with a Curve 8520. They suggested to address a 3rd party unlock code editor, as their internal system takes at least a month to give the codes. I thought it was weird, but hey ho... I therefore now a code release, but to the point where I type mped and am about to give the phone code, I get the message "no sim" valid", and I can't enter the code in. Mped watch phone locked to the network screen.  I wonder if the SIM card is corrupted or damaged in any way? I haven't used the phone for several months that I had and didn't want to pay for a kidney and my first-born on roaming charges.

  Is there a non - SIM solution to unlock? I'm far, far away from the United Kingdom, in order to replace SIM Orange is not an option.  Thanks for any help

  Do you still have the card SIM Orange inside there? Have you tried to do it without a SIM in there or an another carriers SIM card in the phone?

  OMG, it won't be long before your message is removed for abusive language usage ;)

  I don't think that this can be done using the validator of the box.

• Schema validation question

  The data service automatically validates input parameters from xquery compared to the respective default XML schema? If so, can it be turned off?

  It depends on how the function arguments and return types are defined.

  If these are defined as element (foo) - then the schema validation is not made.
  If these are defined as schema element (foo) requires to perform the validation.

• TextInput Validation question

  Hello

  I am looking for validation of TextInput in which the entry should be:

  1. at least 6 words (Yes, no characters/albhabets). Maximum of 10 words.

  2. each word is at least 2 characters.

  Please provide links/help if you know a solution.

  I think you can do what you want using a TextInput control valueCommit event to trigger the validation after a user enters information in the control

  From there, I would use an array of. text.split(' ') for a list of space separated words/characters.

  You can then check the length of the array for the number of words

  and the length of each element of the table for the required minimum of 2 tank.

  It's my first time posting here and I'm new to CF. I took and passed a course of figleaf on Cold Fusion and I have some other information programming.

  When I leave the fields empty the EEP message is launched.
  
  If I take the first name and try to check the last name only I can click as much as I love the button submit, but the alert never comes up with the message "Enter an artist family name."
  
  I've set up a system using XP SP3 and the same problem happens on Firefox 3.0.3 or IE 7.
  
  I use CFEclipse, Apache and CF8. I have virtual hosts put in place for my sandbox.
  
  Please let me know if any other information is needed.

  The question was how I had set up my virtual directories. I'm new to web development, that I did not understand how the scripts directory was accessed. I have corrected this problem, with the help of the boss by adding the following to my for apache http.conf file.

  # "C:/Program Files / Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/cgi-bin" should be replaced by everything that your ScriptAlias
  # CGI directory exists, if you have set up.

  In XHTML, you must make the alt tag applied to each image on your page.  Dreamweaver will prompt you for this, when you insert each image.  You can also add this in code view by typing:

  ALT = "Insert here the replacement text.

  That before placing your / > in the img code and you will be ready to go.  The text will be displayed if the image fails to load for some reason, it should be useful to the image.  For example, a header image could be alt = "My Site Header Image" or alt = "Welcome to my site."

• Questions about running the XP on Vista Games

  I've been curious about using older games of XP on Vista and have not been able to find clear answers to this topic with my own research on the internet.  I'm a Fan of First Person Shooter, and they are scarce since Vista came out.  So I would like to add a few shooters of Vista I have with some of the older games, but I have questions to do.

  My questions are:

  1. If I have an old XP game that is listed as not compatible with Vista can still use it if I play it in compatibility mode for XP SP2? (The game's FEAR)
   
  2. This will mess up my system Vista SP1?

  3. If I install 2 or 3 of these old games XP on my Vista SP1 pc and run in XP SP2 compatibility mode microsoft at some point let me no update Vista again?

  4. should I patch older XP games so I don't want?  I just want to play on solo not online.

  (The games are FEAR, DOOM3, QUAKE4 and PREY). Everything for one player only.

  I had these issues since I got Vista.  I couldn't really find that responses indicated clearly by someone I thought I knew what they were talking about so I hope that I can help.

  Hello Jebidia,

  Thank you for posting.  You have very valid questions and I have some answers.  I currently play FEAR (tested prey in the past) on my Vista Ultimate 64-bit without problems no matter what.  I'd say you do a regular install of the games and they should work fine.  Now if you have some problems, and then reinstall the game in compatibility mode.  As for your other questions, you should have no worries about the game, do not let you Vista update.  Patch games can sometimes resolve known problems that the games themselves are with compatiblities hardware Vista and possible.  You can search for Tweakguides to find a site very useful for players.

  In general, you can control the size / scale / settings (output) printing of the application that you use to send the job to the printer.  Print preview is available in most browsers, editors of documents and PDF readers.

  Hmmm... You definitely raise a good and valid question to which I don't know the answer to, but if I had to guess, I would say that no one.  Would this be possible?  I know I've heard Cook mention that they "don't hold the keys" but does the same thing, it refers?  It would make a very interesting topic of discussion.

• storage icloud for photos.

  We have the ability to store our photos in icloud, but noted that if all the photos deleted in the device will automatically delete the backup of these photos in icloud. I really wonder of using icloud here. Icloud do same as economy or remove photos in the camera, why do we need to use icloud?

  All valid questions and points you present!  iCloud is not designed as a platform for storage on traditional cloud for backups.  If you are looking at that, and I highly recommend do you, after some preliminary research, then you should consider these options for third party such as Dropbox, Flickr and my personal favorite Google Photos.

  iCloud is designed so that all your pictures/videos are synchronized and accessible on all your devices.

• Mex MATLAB 2014 a default compiler is Visual C++ 2013. How to change?

  My development machine is running 8.1 Windows x 64 , OR 2014 LabVIEW with NI Veristand , MATLAB, 2014 and Visual Studio 2013. These are academic needs so I can't uninstall one of them at the moment.

  NI Veristand is recognized in MATLAB as shown below:

  

  Compatibility Guide, I discovered that NI Veristand is only compatible with Visual C++ 2010 or below, as shown:

  

  Which means VC ++ 2013 is not possible because it is installed by default with my version of award-winning VS. 2013.

  The problem is that I downloaded and installed VC ++ 2010 and updated for SP1 as shown:

  

  MATLAB always shows VC ++ 2013 professional like compiler default mex. I don't know if you have a solution to this problem and why VC ++ 2013 is not supported.

  

  Is there any known workaround solution to use the VC compiler ++ 2010 while 2013 version is installed? Thanks for million times, NOR the team and community members were always there for me and others.

  After the validation question on MATLAB responses as well, the two made me understand as follows:

  • I removed all products VC 2010 (edition Express, distributions, updates) of programs and features.
  
  
  • I downloaded and installed Windows 7 SDK (it has 64-bit compiler Express edition lacks).
  
  
  • I then downloaded VC ++ 2010 Express edition (it has the required by the compiler tool chain).
  
  
  • Finally I've updated VC ++ 2010 SP1 (web installer) as Windows Update always fails to do so.

  After that, I tried many simple examples, including the offset sine and deadlines. It was compiled well and easily imported in LabVIEW.
