• APEX 5.0 - Position Navigation menu (top / side)

  I use the universal theme (42) in APEX 5.0 and I have a list of said Navigation

  List1 - this list consist say consist of a list entry 3

  Home - no parent - target - 1 page

  Child - Parent (home) - target - 2 page

  Page big child - Parent (child) - target - 3

  When I use the position of Navigation - side

  All the three list entry works fine, I mean when I click on home or child or Grand child he goes to the respective page of 1, 2 and 3.

  When I change the position of Navigation in the top

  -entry of the list two works great – when I click on home or big kid, he goes to the respective page of 1 and 3.

  - BUT when I click on child (2nd entry list) - is not a nothing, it goes to Page 2. - WHY?

  WHY the child (2nd list entry) - works very well with the position of 'Side', but does not work with 'Top '?

  The answer is simple. Sub menu items have no other action that open the submenu so that they cannot navigate. The top-level menu items allow the features of split where they can navigate and fall down. This behavior of the higher level menus is an extension to the traditional menu of model Office UI.

  The key is that you have to adjust your navigation lists as you spend on the side and in the top navigation.

  More details. Side navigation and navigation bar are the two types of navigation, but they use different user interface controls. (This applies to what is in the default universal theme. I guess that you can replace the list templates with your own that implement models of other UI.)

  Navigation bar is a control of the user interface of the bar menu and closely follows the model of long standing and well established applications of office for menu bars. With two exceptions, items in menu 1) split where the menu bar may as well perform an action such as navigate to a page or the drop down menu 2) indicates the element menu 'in progress', making the menu a little service as a tab control. These exceptions have been made to account for legacy menu usage used in the report designer patterns.

  Side navigation is a tree with fancy css/javascript UI control for it has a reduced mode and move the expand/collapse button to the right. The trees have no restrictions on a node that is able to navigate and contain children nodes.

  The two types of navigation are based on the APEX of the lists. What distinguishes them is where they go in the page template (top/side) and what list template is used. APEX lists know nothing about the kind of model they will use. Different models have different expectations on the list. For example, some models are flat, and some expect the nested lists. The situation you describe is a case where the list of menu bar template will effectively ignore any navigation link on a non level list item that has children.

• Why is a Firefox logo on top a picture in Windows 7 pictures. When you click on my Facebook site tries to open but going crazy.

  It is possible that you do not get a picture because Firefox is sending a standard request accept header.

  You can try to test this by temporarily assigning network.http.accept.default an empty string or a value of application for image on the topic: config page.

  Don't forget to reset the pref once you are done with the test.

  Do you mean in Safari? You cannot move the Favorites bar, but you can 'See the bookmarks bar' in the view menu.

  The problem is that the 'Centre' facet seems to be to fit in the 'top' side and a height of 50px line alongside the ' overlfow: hidden ' property prevents the content of the facet 'Center' to appear on the page. Further investigation of the HTML rendering, I found the following:

  Ashish thanks for the reply. Definition of height and width properties did not help either. But I managed to find the culprit. It was an unclosed div that was causing the problem. It was pretty silly of me

  You have still it below the selectors css in the file "Layout.css" related to the page, some of the reported styles are added to the new you inserted directly into selectors css page. For example setting the width of the #logo

  to 40% and have left padding of 600px does more than 40% of width. As you now have #fdw set to 60% there not enough room for the two fit side by side on the same line.

  Remove the styles below from the related "Layout.css" css stylesheet. If you need styles add ONLY those return which will not affect the width or positioning of the

  Hi all

  I added my logo in the left corner of the site, unfortunately it slides toward the bottom of the page to scroll down (see attachment image1).

  Another problem is, I got to interview the logo along the side right of the page to Muse to adapt to the screen in preview mode screen or in the browser (see image 2)

  Without going through the SDK. You might be able to hack one using platform-specific menu calls, but I do not think that the SDK has something to help you map their handles for menuitem to the menu system handles.

• Newbie question - Parallax scrolling a logo right

  Hello

  I am designing my new site using Muse.

  I would like my logo Center, top of the page to the browser, but that the user scroll to the bottom of the page I would like the logo to move out of the way to the top right of the browser.

  What I did, is to create a retangle the size of the logo and placed the Center but the scrolling happens within the retangle.

  Can someone direct me on how to do this?

  It seems that you've been playing with the scrolling effects available for the fill option.

  Try to use the scrolling effect controls panel right to work with the object. You may need to disable the effects of roll fill everything first.

Probably the best approach in these circumstances is simply to remove the string #LOGO # the printable version model.

  Drag the 'Deep End Echo Piano' loop to the empty space under all your tracks.  It's an audio loop and not a software instrument loop. If you can not drag on a software instrument track. You can drag it onto an audio track or below all the Flickr photos to create a new track.
