  Hello

  I would use the same variable on three pages.  Now I can't get it to work on two.  The first page is a simple HTML form, in which the variable is registered.  The second page uses the variable very well.  I use AJAX to designate a third page and I don't know how to use the same variable on the third page.  The variable is called 'find '.

  On the second page, I have this:

  $find = strip_tags($find);
$find = trim ($find);
$result=mysql_query("SHOW TABLES FROM sand2 LIKE '%$find%'")
or die(mysql_error());

  The second page then AJAX that points to a third/URL of the page, and on this third/URL of the page, I have this:

  On the third page, I would like to replace the 'Santa Fe' table with the variable "locate," the same variable that I use on the second page.  How can I do this?

  $q = "SELECT * FROM $_SESSION['find'] WHERE id = $id";

  You cannot use an associative array element in a double quoted string. There are three ways to rewrite.

  1. the braces Suround array element:

  $q = "SELECT * FROM {$_SESSION['find']} WHERE id = $id";

  2. remove the single quotes of the index of the array element:

  $q = "SELECT * FROM $_SESSION[find] WHERE id = $id";

  3 concatenate the variable with the channels on each side:

  $q = "SELECT * FROM " . $_SESSION['find'] . " WHERE id = $id";

  All are valid ways to do it, but I prefer the first way with braces.

  I see that code for a button there, so I can only guess repeat you the same function several times.  You cannot use the same name for different functions, and you can have the same duplicate function.  Similarly, you cannot declare more than once to the same variable.  You can have buttons share the same function but, and you can assign new values to variables.

  For now, start by creating a unique function for each button definition.

  For further discussion, if your buttons are movieclips you can assign the url to them as variables, or if you name your buttons by using page names they bind to, then the same function could be shared with a few generic tweaks.

  How to scan a document with several pages in a single file?  After each scan, my old printer (psc 2110) asked if I wanted to scan another page.  In the end, I got a PDF with multiple pages.

  This new creates a file for each page, and I can't find a way to create a PDF with multiple pages.

  You must press the Add/Remove button, to add pages additionla scanned to the existing file. If you do not see this button try decreasing the analysis DPI setting. Let me know if this helps you?

  I hit a serious problem to update my application to use Adobe Acrobat DC 2015.

  I try to use the graphical interface to print multi-page documents but do not uncheck an option "Shrink oversized pages"button, checking a different 'Real size'button, in the same group. The two buttons are checked, and printing is by default the Junk button, print several pages on a sheet, instead of 100%.

  Anyone know of a different way to uncheck that darn button, or better yet, how to direct print the document. I can't find any online documentation of printing direct formatting.

  I need to print all pages, to 100%, with a particular printer, the "theLargePagePrinter". In addition, we use Pitstop Pro 13.

  Now, I'm redoing the buttons because the client wanted smaller and the problem went away on its own.

  Is there a way to display a joint report on top a dashboard with several pages? I don't want it to be displayed in each page but it is rather a report on top and then having multiple pages/tabs under and the report should be common to all pages. Basically, a section in a dashboard that is on the top and a child Dashboard itself as another section below. Incorporation of a dashboard within a dashboard displays just the file and not pages.

  Can you please try with content embedded in the dashboard page where you want embedded tabs on the dashboard.

• A quick way to add the button "print" on several pages?

  This forum has been very useful as I climb the learning curve of the design interactive pdf. Thanks in advance.

  Several other positions of reading and looking around, it would appear that the addition of the function 'print' button must be done in Acrobat. I was able to do, but I wonder if someone found an elegant way to cut and paste the revised on several pages in the final PDF button. There is no option 'Paste in Place' and it becomes very tedious to do alignment specific buttons on every page.

  Yes you can do it too: create the button with action print page:

  in the Panel forms/fields, right-click on the button (not the button on the screen) you have created, click on duplicate, then enter the pages you want to duplicate on and the button will be on all the pages you wanted in the exact position.

  Thanks for the additional info. Lets try to download and execute printing and scanning doctor found here. It may fix a lot on its own, but otherwise it will give us a better idea of what is happening. The weakness of the signal is not likely the culprit (because he worked for a long time) but we can try to change that if other steps fail.

  To display pages .tiff muliple with XP, you had Windows Picture & Fax Viewer or MS Office Document Imaging.  With Vista, you can use the Windows Photo Gallery.  Windows 7 has a .tiff viewer that will be seen in several pages?

  I am not for sure on several pages, because I don't really use Fax, but take a look at the "Windows Photo Viewer" in Windows 7.

  It can manage the extensions .tiff.

  Acrobat has a feature which will automatically add the field where he thinks they should go, but this process is limited, especially if it does not add the fields wherever they go or does not add not the right type of fields (checkboxes instead of radio buttons, instead of drop-down lists text fields). You will probably have to change the fields to specify the font, font size, ToolTip text, format type, etc., but scripts can often be used to speed up this process.
