• How to control the value of a variable that is shared at the beginning of the vi

  Hi all

  In short: How can I make sure the values of the variables shared at the start of a vi?

  I have two vi.

  One is a main vi where did I order a shared Boolean variable "run DAQ".

  The other is a vi with a while loop that "polls" for the shared variable "Execute DAQ", which is connected to a box Structure. If the case is false, it does nothing, if it is true is short some simple IO DAQ within a while loop.

  To be sure that at the beginning of the vi the variable 'Execute DAQ' shared value false (no matter what 'State' the shared variable was left in front of the vi began) I write a Boolean constant to this shared variable 'Execute DAQ' out of hand while loop.

  Now my question: how is it possible that the case structure can enter into the 'True' State, even when main vi is not executed and there is therefore no way of the shared variable can be written in. I know that shared variables are stored in memory, but that's why I write it to false at the beginning of the vi.

  Even when I read the first shared variable before you change it with a constant False the second instance of the shared variable that is wired to the case structure bed to True.
  It seems to me that the shared variables do not follow the 'right' of the dependence of LabView and are updated outside the normal flow of the vi.

  Yes.  Do not use them.

  If you not post on a network, use a normal Global Variable or use a queue, the user event, stating to send commands indicating loops for updating their values.

  If on a network, then I recommend the network stream to send commands/data back with updates.  I used shared variables, more I hate them.

  I have the XML with two nodes Employee and address below. On a daily basis, sometimes the address element might not come from the source xml file, but my interface has columns mapped to the elements of the address, and that is why it may fail because of the source element is not found in the file or data could not get charged because the State 'and' in the sql query that is generated between the employee and address elements.  Is there a way where I can load the data dynamically where I can search in the file only for items (used) present and dynamically loading data only for these items?

  I am facing a problem with the nicks Corp. in Shared Services. The problem is that I am able to add Corp. user IDS to a group, but I'm not able to remove some of them from the group for a reason any especially these corp ID of user who have been added weeks or months.
  
  What I've noticed, is if I add a user ID Corp. today and try to remove it today itself it's letting me do, but these IDS corp that I added to the weeks before group is not letting me remove. I tried to repel the Userid from corp right left and then saved the changes. It displays the message that the Group has changed, but when I go back and check in the group that I find the user here on the side right, where it shows all the members of the user. Not sure why this is happening.

  I would like to be able to use creative Cloud for sharing videos created with the client. I intend to export the video in MP4 format.

  @Jeremy Gadd - quite clear. Unfortunately the legal reasons still remain. We plan to have private sharing in the future (currently sharing is public) which will allow video sharing.

  Are you asking how to enable Internet connection sharing on the host of Vista?  If so:

  I am trying to create a short video with video clips recorded with a mobile phone of Nokia Lumia. The video clips are recorded in "vertical Position".  Video clips important without problem to my Win 10 computer with the correct orientation.  When I import video clips in first item 9 video clips automatically ROTATE 90 degrees to the left (horizontal projection).  I have not found a way to turn the video clips to the vertical projection.

  The simplest solution is to add the video to your calendar, right-click on it and select Rotation 90 ° to the left or do rotate 90 degrees to the right.

  I think I have a similar problem.  I can and have burned successfully a project as an AVCHD disk, which I watched on my most recent player.  However, I can't understand how to burn this project as a DVD disc for viewing on older players.  PE tells me to not find a burner when I'm in DVD mode, but when I go to AVCHD, he quickly identified the drive.  I have had no problem burning DVD discs in previous versions of EP (I'm now in EP 14) with the same computer and the disk and an older operating system (now I'm in the Windows 10).  Even if I create a new project with the DV NTSC (720 x 480) format and just put a picture in it, I can't do PE to recognize the burner in DVD mode (but it will always be in AVCHD mode).  Any suggestions?

  A chat with support said it is a known problem and engineers are working on a fix, that would be released in an update.

• Anyone having problems with the update to Acrobat Reader 11.0.9 on Win7 X 64?

  I don't know about anyone else, but I'm sure.  The symptom that I get, is that the Acrobat Reader window sporadically, do not open.  Looking at the list of processes with Sysinternals Process Explorer, I see that a task of Acrobat Reader has been launched for each open attempt, but no windows show.  After clearing all the tasks of guillotine, close and restart the program tries to launch Acrobat Reader provide a respite for a while.  I've never seen Acrobat Reader to display these symptoms before.  A test, I uninstalled Acrobat Reader 11.0.9 completely and did a complete new installation of 11.0.8, that works perfectly (and have been since it was installed).  I don't want to go back to 11.0.8 due to security risks, but I can't get any useful work provided in 11.0.9 because I can't open reliable documents!  If anyone knows of a registration problem to do this, knows the same symptoms or to his knowledge no work around, I like to hear about it.
