• Tablets, Windows 8 vs Windows RT, join the areas and implementing security policies

  Hello

  I had a few generic questions on tablets and Windows 8.

  From my understanding, there are two versions of Windows 8 tablets - Pro Windows 8 and Windows RT, is - that correct?

  In addition, from my understanding, Windows RT can not reach areas, but Windows 8 Pro can?  I find conflicting information on this.

  Finally, if one of them can join the domain, just use typical security policies?

  RT of Windows cannot join fields, RT is really an OS mobile design to run on the low-power ARM processors. Programs can be loaded by the store on RT RT. Windows comes with Windows defender for AV and a student of MS Office version.

  Windows 8 is the most recent windows OS. Windows 8 has all functions like any standard Windows OS in front of him and more. Yes, joined the areas and security policies work as expected.

  I noticed some people to use a different font for the numbers in the titles and tables of contents to get an extra magic. Is it possible to automate the use of fonts in paragraph styles?

  Oh and suggestions on which fonts would be a good thing for numbers?

  Furthermore, you must doany of this fancy stuff if you use an OpenType font that made OSF glyphs (and if you are not you will need to set the font as part of your style). Just head on to the style definition and enable OSF there OpenType features section.

• If I drag and drop an object in a box. When the timeline returns like that, I want the object to remain in the area and restores not where it was originally.

  I created an interaction by which objects can be dragged and got stuck in a box. Never, I solved the problem when the playhead returned items I looked where I had left. I did it with as2 and never solved the problem which I am sure is easy enough to solve. I remember someone saying something about levels.

  I need to create an interaction where objects are put in a box and they stay there until the interaction ends. Say that the objects are in a room where the user must visit several times in the interaction. There must be a certain number of objects in the room and drag them into a box to get a done message, I want the user to be able to move to another part of my interaction and come back and be able to complete the conclusion and place the objects in the box without reset everything to where they were first encountered user them.

  Looks like you need to add programming that 1) stores the x / y locations of the objects since they change 2) uses this information in position to position objects whenever you enter the picture that they are in.

  You should be able to create variables to store the information that is on a layer that extends from the complete timeline so that the data is stored as it is updated and you move along the timeline.  When you move the object update you its position data. Then, in the context where you have objects use you a simple coding to place objects using this position info... something as simple as...

  Object1.x = object1X;

  Object1.y = object1Y;

  If you are still using AS1/2 you would use _x and FLF instead of x and y

  Hi David,

  I think that they have not changed, it is always the same as in the APEX 3.2 or 3.1...

  Region of buttons is placed on the top or the bottom of the region, the option buttons are treated like any other item and are placed inside the area as the other points.

  Variations has been removed from the version of Photoshop Creative Cloud.

  Levels, curves, Hue/Saturation. They all allow you to do the same thing, but the user interface is very different. And even aren't the only options, there are a lot of ways to spend the balance of the colors in a picture.

• value of the pixel and alpha chart data

  I need to plot a graph with pixel sizes and different alpha values.  The requirement forces me to change the size of the prior pixel and change the alpha value before drawing a line.  I don't know where to start with this, I don't see anything that will allow me to change the size in pixels or make a change alpha.  Can someone recommend an approach to this.

  If the RIM, you can set the alpha using Graphics.setGlobalAlpha)

  You cannot change a pixel size - it is what it is.

• The temporary and tables using SQL tuning tools

  The application that I support uses temporary tables for the majority of queries... Looking at the SQL tuning advisor and more of other oracle tuning tools, they seem well managing temporary tables.
  
  It's what Happens (from what I can tell).
  
  (1) oracle identifies a SQL statement (or the ADMINISTRATOR only), to be tuned.
  (2) the original execution statistics are saved for comparison
  (3) oracle tries to find a new plan (but at this point, the temporary table is empty).
  (4) it tries to execute the new plan (once again the temporary table is empty).
  (5) it comparies the execution time of the new plan against the original plan
  
  The comparison, of course, is not a reasonable comparison.
  
  Does anyone have experience with this problem? My first thought is for 'premium' of the temporary table, then run the Advisor of tuning in the same session (hoping that it will use the values in the temporary table).
  
  Other than that, rereading of the database seems to be the best way to adjust sql plan changes using baselines.

  Hi reda,.

  There are many things you can do with the parameters of region header and footer area. These would all be the content of the page you want to be added immediately before or after your report (or how whether the region contains). Any valid HTML tag should be ok, it can be placed between the BODY tags on a typical HTML page. Many users will add images, links, introductory text or footer information in them. You can also add javascript if you wish. Some will insist that you use the parameter header HTML on the page definition to do this, however, if you click on the words "Région Footer", you will see that there are several replacements of special channel available on in the foot of the region (e.g. #TOTAL_ROWS # will tell you how many records there are in the report). They can be used for a direct output on the page or you can use the in javascript. In addition, unless you use something like JQuery, you can use the foot of the region in the region in the final on the page to run scripts of type onload.

  The header HTML parameter can be used to post a link specific javascript and/or css files to your page (rather than add them to the page template - which would make available to all the pages that use this template).

  The HTML body parameter is only used to add attributes to the BODY tag, when the page is rendered. It can be any valid attribute - for example, you can add a style attribute that sets a background image for the page. The only thing to note here is that you cannot add an onload event handler if you also set the adjustment of focus of the cursor on "First item on the page" because it uses the event onload as well.

• Weird problem with control of the ring and foot

  So I have some sort of weird issue with a control of the ring and a chart. I'm with LabWindows/CVI on a Windows 7 computer. The part of the program I'm looking at is basically to navigate through data - there are several "transition" (rehearsals experience), and you can choose the one that you want to watch in the list.

  Normally, you would select transitional in the list, it plots the data, then it is done, basically. However, all of a sudden (don't know how long it spent for), when I select anything except 'Average', he made all the tracing and such, then it changes control of the ring to 'Average' (it is not plot the average data or generate all the reminders that I can tell).

  Now the thing the more bizarre as you can see below, it seems that the switch happens just when I draw something on the chart:

  DC is a structure that I use to better organize some UI controls and uidc is for display RAM variables, then dc.fid is the Panel that is embedded in the tab "FID", dc.fgraph = FID_Graph and corresponds to the chart control. Control of the ring is actually in a child Panel, dc.cloc [0]. FID_Graph has a point, it can produce, but the reminder is empty (no not coded something there yet).

  I have also considered that perhaps something in another thread (I don't think there is, but whatever) I see is the cause, however, this behavior still happens on that line. I tried to break in different locations, on hold, then continues, as well by adding a loop containing Delay (0.01), a loop of 100 times. Always happens after the conspiracy.

  Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening?

  I don't have a solution, but I wanted to point out that, even if you see the ring to change its value only when you call the function of tracing, that doesn't say what this function call that really changes the value of the ring. In CVI, some drawing operations are batched, for performance reasons, and the Panel updates only visually at certain times. One of those moments when you draw a chart data. Yes, the ring changes visually at this time there, but it is probably just 'catch up' a change earlier.

  As you are looking through the code, when the value of the ring, you can use the term > command update UI to force the update panel, so that you don't have to wait for the tracing function and see if all goes well this change happening earlier.
