[vbscript] How to analyze "@FirewallAPI.dll,-29006 ' to 'iSCSI Service (TCP-In).

Hello

I have a string "@FirewallAPI.dll,-29006" and want to recover the text from the dll string. (in this case the text is "iSCSI Service (TCP-In)")

I don't know how this notation is called, so I can't find out how its done.

Is it possible directly from vbscript, or is it better to call an external exe to retrieve the text of the dll, if so, how?

Thanks in advance,

/ S

    Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

    This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

    This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

    -Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
    For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
    Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

    For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
    Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
    your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
    Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
    Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

    Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
    with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

    Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
    Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
    BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

    Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

    Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
    presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
    in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

    Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

    Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • How to analyze the image url in json?

    Hello

    I get the response from the server and crawled through json. And display it in the field

    Like name1 as:

    try {}
    labelField1.setText (jsonObject2.get("name1").toString ());
    }

    catch (JSONException e)

    {
    System.out.println ("JSONException Description");
    }

    Similarly, I want to make the image. How to analyze the url of the image and display it in the BitmapField?

    You must create a separate thread to extract the bytes of the image of the URL you have.

    You can use the following code to get the image to the server.

    public EncodedImage getImageBytesFromURL(String url){
            ConnectionFactory connFactory = null;
            ConnectionDescriptor connDescriptor = null;
            HttpConnection httpConn = null;
            InputStream inputStream = null;
            byte[] response = null;
            try {
                connFactory = new ConnectionFactory();
                connFactory.setConnectionTimeout(10*1000);
                connFactory.setAttemptsLimit(1);
                connDescriptor = connFactory.getConnection(url;interface=wifi);
                if (connDescriptor != null) {
                    httpConn = (HttpConnection) connDescriptor.getConnection();
                    inputStream = httpConn.openInputStream();
                    int responseCode = httpConn.getResponseCode();
                    if(responseCode == HttpConnection.HTTP_OK){
                        response = readStream(inputStream);
                    }
                }
            }catch (IOException e) {

            }finally {
                try {
                    inputStream.close();
                    httpConn.close();
                    inputStream = null;
                    httpConn = null;
                    connDescriptor = null;
                    connFactory = null;
                } catch (Exception e) {

                }
            }
            EncodedImage encodedImage = null;
            if(response != null){
                encodedImage = EncodedImage.createEncodedImage(response, 0, response.length);
            }
            return encodedImage;
        }

    Remember that this method should be in a background thread. Otherwise, your user interface crashes. The encodedImage that returns the method above can be easily converted to bitmap and set in your bitmapfield.

  • How to analyze actionResult InfoBlox Plugin action "getNetwork"?

    New to vCO and still learning!

    Using the Infoblox Plugin and after creating a file and obtain the assigned IP address back, I need to get more information, such as router, DNS1, DNS2, etc...  I use the action getNetwork of the plugin that returns:

    DynamicWrapper (Instance): [IpamNetwork]-[class com.infoblox.ipam.model.objects.IpamNetwork] - VALUE: IpamNetwork [ipAddress = 10.24.1.0, cidr = 24, networkview default =, comment = network Lab [cord], extensibleAttributes = [IpamExtensibleAttribute [name = city, type = STRING, value = Emerald], IpamExtensibleAttribute [name = SiteCode, type = STRING value = 02PB]], dhcpOptions = IpamDhcpOptions [routers is null, domainNameServers is [10.42.17.50, 10.42.17.51], domainName = testt .net, domainSearch = null, netbiosNameServers = null]]

    How I analyze the routers, domainNameServers IPs and domain name?

    Thank you!!!

    Hello

    I have not this plug-in in my environment, but it seems, of the returned value, you can use the following code:

    var actionResult = ...; // the value returned from your action (of type IpamNetwork)
    var routers = actionResult.dhcpOptions.routers; // for your particular actionResult value, you should get null
    var domainNameServers = actionResult.dhcpOptions.domainNameServers; // for your particular actionResult value, you should get an array with 2 values 10.42.17.50 and 10.42.17.51
    var routers = actionResult.dhcpOptions.domainName; // for your particular actionResult value, you should get testt.net

    You can search the attributes/methods available for objects of type IpamNetwork and IpamDhcpOptions in vCO API Explorer - just start vCO Java client and open Tools -> API Explorer menu.
